"Now Ladies, my soulmates, my go to girls, and my sisters would you please be my everything my maids of honor/ my bridesmaids/ my getaway crew/ my freak out with me before I walk down the aisle?", she begged us practically. We jumped up quickly screaming yes at the top of our lungs. I was happy to be there for her, she had done it for me so many times, I couldn't even count.

"Miss Celine thought I should have 1 maid of honor and 2 bridesmaids and guess who she was suggesting, Tiffany", Caroline let out an exasperated laugh and I followed her with the laugh. Caroline wanted Tiffany to like her, but Caroline had gotten nowhere with Tiffany.  Caroline couldn't stand Tiffany, but all she wanted was their crude unaccepting family to accept her and respect the choice their son had made.

On the other hand Tiffany had become the perfect angel in front of Nolan and I and when he left she would stoop on the couch ordering me to order her food.

"Tiffany started flirting with Nolan and she just did it right in front of me, like right there and she would keep going", I rubbed my head out of frustration. The girls looked speechless, well they were, and I knew they were going to bring up the reason why I should just tell him not to talk to her.

"You're his wife, tell him not to see her anymore, trust me he may even be happy about it after all the pain she's put him through", Avery said and I wished I could tell him not too, but the way we work is we don't dictate each other's lives.

"We don't work like that, I can't just tell him to stop seeing her, that would be so deceitful", I began by describing every way it may hurt him.

"I was thinking along the lines of beneficial, helpful, and Nolan would be understanding", Avery guaranteed, comforting me in her time of partying.

"Okay, Okay fine I will talk to him", I really wanted to talk to him about it, it had been bothering me so much, like why does he keep inviting her over and she just shows up announced and then Nolan leaves. There's no chance in hell that we would ever be friends, if that's what he's trying to do.

"What am I going to do about Alec's parents? They hate me", she was right as much as I hated admitting it. They liked me, maybe because I came with a signed business deal, and I wasn't marrying their son. Alec's parents weren't good people and I knew that all they cared about was money and not their own son's heart.

"You are one of the most amazing people I know, if they don't want to get to know you then it's their loss not yours", I tried comforting her, but I knew the worst feeling in the whole entire world was feeling unwelcome in a place you should feel all the comfort in the world.

"They're just sour snobs, Alec loves you and well it's time he used his grown ass mouth and told his family off", Avery snared and I could tell she was upset. Avery prided herself on making everyone feel welcomed in any way, like my wedding day.

"I can't ask him to do that, we just got back together well we just got together after a break and I can't do that", Caroline uneasily said, she was very uncertain about her choices and I knew the last thing she wanted to do was make Alec upset.

"Think about yourself, not him, not anyone, just think about you and once you tell him what you want, if he loves you enough which he does he will reason with them", I told her trying to show her that her feelings mattered too, no matter how hard she tried to deny them.

She and I were similar, I always felt like a burden to others when I expressed myself in a way that person wouldn't like. But Nolan and I work by being there for each other and we find reasoning through each other's feelings.

"Just ask him to see it the way you do, your parents love him, but what if they didn't and just explain to him how you feel", I tried comforting Caroline and she leaned into me exhausted from all of this. We continued talking while we made flower arrangements, and chose caterers all from the comfort of Avery's home, up until 5:30, when we all changed into our supportive shirts, caps and rushed to the school.

Melody's POV
The clock struck 5:30 as I watched the opposing team arrive on buses, they had their own equipment along with their prideful team colors.

"Hey don't worry, this team sucks", Lola tried comforting me, placing her hand on my back. I leaned off of the window and changed into the uniform. I ran back into the school to grab my water bottle, when I spotted the football team, leaving to go home.

"Hey, good luck out there", Zeke yelled from afar and I started walking towards him.

"Thanks, are you staying?", I asked hoping it was a yes. Zeke made me feel inspired and I definitely had a crush on him, who wouldn't.

"Yeah of course , some of the football team and the soccer team are going out after the game, you can come if you want?", he asked nervously and I nodded my head and saw his glistening smile, which I had been dying to see.

"I'll be there", I told him and his teammates called him back, he waved to me and ran to catch up with his teammates walking into the stand.

My family was here, it sounded good to say that. That there was a group of people who all wanted me to succeed in life. I saw Natalie, Avery, Caroline, Clay, Alison and Leah going up the stands wearing my teams logo on their shirts. It was nice to have someone to support you, someone to cheer you and your dreams on.

I ran back inside, hoping Nolan would get here. Somewhere in me I had found my parents, my sister and her husband were my parents, not the traditional mother and father, but 2 people that made me feel just as special and even more than parents could have.

I could tell Nolan didn't like kids, but when I came he tried so hard to get to know me and he was good at picking up on my habits and really finding the way into my head. Natalie it was a given for her, she had all this experience in her and we shared something so fearful that we had already had a bond way before we knew it.

I really hoped he showed up, he had been practicing my kick shots with me at the park and I wanted to show him that all of the practice paid off.

Natalie's POV
The clock ticked fast and I tried to find Nolan through the crowd, but he was nowhere to be found. The team entered the field with a roar from the crowd and we all waved to Mel and she smiled seeing us. Her eyes wandered through the crowd of people and I knew she had realized that Nolan wasn't there. Melody wanted Nolan to see her play and I knew she was disappointed that he didn't.

The game started and the team was winning, but Mel had not taken any shots, as if in some fear she just passed the ball and let her teammates take the shot. A light touch tapped my shoulder and I saw Nolan's apoplectic face with a bouquet of flowers standing in his arms.

"I'm sorry I was late", he apologized taking a seat next to me and I knew he would only be late if it was an emergency. Tyler and Alec slid into seats next to Avery and Caroline, while we watched the game. I saw Melody look up and Nolan waved to her.

"They want-", Nolan began to explain his absence and I silenced him, knowing I didn't want this day ruined.

"I see your face, your worried face, please don't tell me what it is, just not now. I don't want to ruin today, especially for her", I told him knowing it was bad news and he just pulled me closer to him, I cuddled my head into him hoping this bad news would just disappear.

After that it was like a click was turned on in her, she took the risks and it paid off, big time and she scored like never before. She was a powerhouse as she sent the crowd in a roar as the final buzzer rang and they were declared the winners.

Melody rushed over to my arms and hugged me dearly, she whispered "thank you", in my ear which made my whole day.

"I'm so sorry I was late, but you did amazing", Nolan handed her the bouquet of flowers, she hugged him as a tear ran down her face.

"We're so proud of you", I said and she hugged me instantly, followed by the sniffles. All she ever wanted was someone to be proud of, it was that easy, all her life she had been downgraded, but all she wanted was someone to say "Melody I'm so proud of you". I could tell it made a difference as she let go of us with her smile beaming.

"Now tell me where is this guy?", I asked her and at first she looked confused, but when she realized what I was saying she scanned the crowd. Nolan looked over at me confused and our eyes went to the same place, a boy running over towards her.

"Hello Melody's Parents", he looked confused, probably noticing how young we look, I mean hopefully. Nolan shook his hand politely and I did the same as I looked over at Mel for instructions and she was just focused on him.

"Oh we're not her parents, I'm her sister and this is my husband, you can just call me Natalie and this is Nolan", I said shyly and he immediately apologized, he was a shy kid himself, but he was brave coming up here.

"I came to ask if Melody may be allowed to come with us after the game, just the guys and the soccer team, Lola's going", he asked and Natalie made eyes at me, and I shook my head letting her know I wanted to go.

"Yeah of course, just text me when you're done", I said with no objection, but from the ahem that came from Nolan I could tell he had some.

"And what is your name?", Nolan asked and I saw Mel's eyes practically begging me to stop this. I tugged at Nolan slightly.

"Zeke", the poor kid gulped nervously.

"Well Zeke-", Nolan was about to go all the way, 'full on dad mode' and I stomped on his foot slightly.

"Y-You two have a nice night", Nolan gulped nervously towards me and the kids ran off to the rest of the group. We waved goodbye to Alison and everyone else as they headed home.

"What was that?"I asked him, not upset in the slightest, how could I be his overprotective side turned me on. I leaned into his chest as the crowd dispersed and we started wandering towards the school.

"That boy has the wrong intentions and we just can't send her off with someone we don't even know", he complained and I could tell he was coming from the right place, but she was the most mature kid I know, I trusted her.

"Look at you, all dad like", I said and he annoyingly huffed, looking back at Melody climbing into Lola's mom's car.

"How can you just say okay to her going?", Nolan said in disbelief and it surprised me that he thought that I didn't make sure my only sister wasn't safe.

"Melody texted me about this, when she found out. I got in contact with Lola's mom and she said that she would also be going to this diner and that she could drop Lola and Melody off at our place for a sleepover, I slipped her a $20 and she should be good and that boy she likes him and I trust her", I tried to make him understand but I knew deep down he was bothered by this, but something was overriding it, something about Melody.

"I'm sorry I doubted your judgement, my love", he said and pressed me up against the school's glass corridors as his pocket rattled from searching for something.

His breath was heavy against mine and suddenly the door unlocked after he toyed with the lock.

"Tell me you did not just 'Nancy Drew' the door", I asked as he pulled me inside the dark school.

"Does having a key count as 'Nancy Drewing'?", he asked, wrapping his hands into mine.

"Is this one of your money makers?", I asked and he seemed to like the nickname I had given it.

"This place is a money collector, but I could never shut this place down and I'm okay with not making a lot of money here, this place is one of the most monumental places to me", he explained and I understood why he would never let this place go.

He guided me down the hallways and finally we made it to the sports team's trophies.

"I don't see you on here?", I asked him searching through the year he would've been going here.

"Well I wasn't the most athletic kid when I was here", he explained and I mean when you look at him, it looked as if he had played some intense sport, when really he just worked out like a mad man.

"You married a nerd, I was even president of the debate team and the sales team", he said and I could just imagine him walking through these doors.

"If we had gone to the same school we would've never been friends, let alone gotten married", he looked at me in disbelief.

"And why is that, my bow tie would never be good enough for you", he asked looking through the classrooms, looking for a special one.

"I was a very different person in high school, my mom had died and Daniel treated me horribly, so I went through an emo stage, I would've probably made fun of your bow tie and knocked your books down", I said embarrassed by my past and I saw the look of disbelief across Nolan's face.

"Are there any images of this emo phase?", he asked cornering me at a corridor.

"Thankfully no", I said happily as he came closer to me.

"This very room was the room where I used to dream about you", he guided me into this stuffy room, with its door wide open.

"How'd I turn out better than your dream?", I asked him giving him a twirl as he sat on one of the desks and watched me.

"Even better than I imagined", his lips dove for mine and I let myself slip against him and he held on. He pushed me up against the desk and he kissed me magically.

On the drive home we ruled out pulling over at a hotel and finally giving in to our meteorite craving for sex as an option, but Melody and Lola were coming over and besides this weekend was bound to have enough time to have as much sex as we could ever want.

"I'm ready for you to tell me", he looked at me confused at first and then the worried glance appeared back on his face and the words that left his mouth left me feeling like the justice system had really wanted to torture melody.

"They need Mel to testify against Daniel."
