I hugged Tyler as happily as I could. I ran upstairs as the guys looked so confused at me, but I had the perfect night for her and there was no planning needed. I searched for the book we all worked hours on and as I brought it downstairs the guys knew exactly what book it was.

"Avery wrote down ideas she was going to do for my proposal and she said this one was her favorite", I handed him the paper smiling with glee. Nolan came down and wrapped his hands around my waist.

"You told her huh", He said as Tyler nodded and I looked back at Nolan.

"Yes and you need to go home, otherwise I have no clue if she'll say yes", I pushed him out the front door as he left the book with me.

"I just love her so much",he said before he closed the door as I realized the love and passion he carried for her.

I walked back to the foyer and peered into the living room.

"Did you tuck Mel in?", I asked him as he nodded his head and took a seat on the couch.

"Look at you two all parent like", Alec said from the armchair he rested on.

"Everyone's growing up pretty fast", I spoke vaguely.

"Do you ever see you and Caroline getting to this point, engaged, married?", I knew this wasn't typical guy conversation but I was curious where he stood with her.

"I mean she and I we're definitely in love with each other but she's just been so distant and then she left to go back home and she never told me when she was coming back, I don't know where we stand she hasn't even called me and I love her, and I trust her, but I don't know where her heart is right now", he spoke from his heart as I could see how silent the room is now, his emotions were displayed in front of Caroline and she took off running. This sounded nothing like her.

"That sounds tough man, I say call her I know when Nat and I were in a really twisty fight which was my bad, every second I thought about whether she was thinking about me", he said as I leaned against his shoulder.

"I'm gonna head out and call her, besides I hate being the third wheel", he said bye and left out of the front door. I cuddled into Nolan reflecting on his words.

"Good advice, Clementé", I laid into his chest as he ran his hands through my hair.

"Why thank you, Mrs. Clementé, now go check on Melody, I think she wanted her big sister to tuck her in", I kissed his check as I went to her now make-shift room.

I knocked on the door opening it to see Melody tucked to the corner scrolling on a Mac, she looked as if she had gotten caught in the act.

"I'm sorry, He told me I could go on the computer I just figured", she said afraid, and I knew the reason was her dark and abandoned past.

"No, no go ahead I agree this room could use some sprucing up, besides it doesn't fit your style", she looked relieved as I took a seat on the queen bed we had in the room for guests.

"You may also want to get some new bedsheets, our friends stay over and well they get rowdy, but we wash them", I rambled on as I shut my mouth immediately. I hated the feeling that she had, and I never wanted her to be afraid of me or Nolan, but I knew it would take some getting use to.

"I just wanted to say this home is yours as well, we won't get mad at little things or even big things. I promise you, this is just a house filled with love and a bed, with family coming in and out. I'm your sister, and I love you, even though we don't know each other well, I still love you and I won't stop loving you", I leaned against her as I saw the tears trickle from her eyes and a grand smile appeared across her face.

"I'm just so used to being scolded and ridiculed. I just have these flashbacks, like when the door opened, I saw an old foster parent and it's just scary", I held her as she tucked her head near my arm.

"It's okay to be scared, but if you ever feel uncomfortable or unsafe just come talk to me and we'll figure something out, and I understand if you're uneasy about all of us but I promise only good intentions here", I whispered to her as she smiled. It was so comforting seeing her smile that was so familiar.

"I was thinking we could have a movie night and we could have a sleepover and watch old movies and I could bring the photo albums out I still have a couple if you'd like to see", she nodded happily as she grabbed her blanket and ran upstairs.

"Looks like it's a couch day", I told him as he groaned with his computer sitting on the couch as a cooking channel played in the background.

He pulled me on top of him and pushed the laptop out of his way.

"You're beautiful", he kissed my head as I felt loved cradled in his comforting chest.

"I love you". I hugged him as he smiled at me.

"I should get going, goodnight love you". I said to Nolan as I kissed him goodnight

"Did you pick a movie yet?", I asked her as she searched through the endless amounts of cds Nolan had.

"There's too many", she said as she moved them over and made room for me.

"Well I do have something more exciting and realistic to keep us busy", she seemed merely intrigued as I appealed at something that definitely tempted her.

"Well the men in the living room were Tyler and Alec, and Tyler is Avery's boyfriend soon to be fiancé, he's asking her tomorrow and it is my job to plan it and distract her, and I could always use a helper", I told her as she smiled and nodded exceedingly.

We set out to work ordering things that would make the evening more perfect while we streamed "pretty in pink" and "clueless" soon enough next to me was a sleeping girl. I quickly turned the movie off and tucked her under the covers, as quietly as I possibly could.

I crept downstairs and saw Nolan still working with a simple blanket wrapped over him.

"Hi there", I said as his eyes trailed my body and he swiftly tucked his laptop away and stretched his arms out to me. I took a seat on his comforting lap as he hugged me.

"How was the movie night?", he asked me as I smiled and held him closely.

"Great I just want to peel off this getting to know you stuff, I want to talk to her about all the things I can't say, I want to tell her about our mom, and all the things that made her extraordinary, and I don't know how to bring it up", he listened to my concerns with an earnest eye.

"Just let her know that you're ready to talk about it if she is, I mean I can tell she trusts us, but it's going to be a while before she becomes comfortable enough to share", he said offering some insight to her mind and all I could do was smile at how much he's changed for the good. He cared about her, I could tell and that was all  I dreamed of.

"Look at you all sounding dad-like, you're going to be an excellent dad", I smiled at him as he kissed my lips wanting more.

"Hopefully I can become a dad very soon, and you my darling will be a beautiful mother, my mom she looked the most radiant when she was pregnant with Leah", he kissed my forehead as I nuzzled into his chest. I wanted to give him what he earned for, more than my own conscious saying I wasn't ready. The deepest fear that longed in me was ready to be revealed and yet I had the feeling he already knew I was afraid of it.

"I don't want to be like my dad, he's sick and crazed and I don't want to be anything like him", his hands ran through my hair as he comforted me soothing my deepest thoughts.

"You are the complete opposite of him, you are nothing like him, he is a greedy, selfish and an undeserving man you are one of the bravest and selfless people I know", I nuzzled into his chest as he comforted me, our relationship was stronger than both of us the bond we shared was something of a fairytale.

"I love you", I kissed his lips with the eternal joy that I got from just being curled up in his arms.

"I love you", he said as he stared into my deepening eyes and smiled.

"I should get back to planning, want to help?", I said as I grabbed the laptop that was in the bookcase. He smiled as he pulled his own laptop back onto his lap.

"I have just so much work to finish, I mean if I didn't I would help you and browse with you and tell you what's cute and what's not", he sarcastically said as I pouted my small face.

"Come on, please I promise I'll make it fun", I said as he sat his laptop away and patted his lap for me to sit on.

"What's the theme?", he asked as I went back to the many things I had added to the order list.

"I'm surprised you know what a theme is",  I said as he seemed very interested in the things I scrolled across.

"Well I picked a few things up when I was planning one of the happiest days of my life", he hugged me against his body as I could feel the radiant smile he gave off.

I began telling him about Avery's dream proposal and thankfully he knew more about what she wanted than I did. It was so amazing how invested he was in this, and by the time we were done everything had been bought, ordered and was on the way here it was 6 in the morning.

"I'm gonna head up, don't want to startle Mel if she wakes up", I kissed his forehead and climbed off his lap, as he cuddled agains the warm blanket, and I wish that was me.

"Sleep well, love you", he said as I slugged up the stairs like a snail, because of how exhausted I felt. I collapsed onto the bed.

"Natalie, Natalie wake up", a sing-songy voice sang as I smelt something so beautiful and irresistible that I just had to find out what was this arousing smell.

"We made blueberry pancakes", I noticed the flour and stains left on Nolan and Melody's aprons.

"Come on down", Nolan extended his hand to me as he kissed my cheek softly as he let me lean on his shoulder.

The morning was a jolt of energy and as love was whispered through the air I couldn't help but feel that my life was finally in place.

"We have so much to do today, I announced to Alec, Tyler, Melody, Nolan, and Alison", I said as I showed them the millions of things to make this perfect. I explained to them each little thing that had to be done to make this a marvelous experience.

And as I saw the glistening ring, I remembered just how grateful I was to be surrounded by so much love, and safety.

"You get out of here the soon to be fiancé is waiting, we've got it all under control", Alison assured me as I grabbed my purse and ran out the door.

On the way over I hoped she would take my bait, and be surprised by merely everything. I had told her a friend was having her art exhibit opening and she had asked for me to go, it was the perfect excuse to get dressed up. If Avery had really thought about this situation she would've realized that I don't have any friends, sad but it's true, I don't have any that she doesn't know. But thankfully she didn't dig deeper.

I dialed her number hoping she was ready to go as soon as I arrived at her place.

"Avery I'm going to be there in like 5 minutes", I told her as I heard her breathing heavily.

"He's cheating on me I know it", she cried as I tried to get a handle on what she's saying.

"I'll be over in 3 minutes", I hung up the phone and rushed to the complex. The ride up the elevator I wondered what was swirling through her mind.

"He's always gone, he came home so late last night and he sneaks off for conversations and he's just distant and I HATE HIM SO MUCH", she added as I hoped to put an end to this hatred.

"It's Nolan, okay", I said as she looked so confused at my comment.

"Tyler is cheating with Nolan I mean I always knew they loved each other, didn't know it was that kinda of love-", she sat down pondering her thoughts as a smile formed across her face.

"Nolan and I were having issues, and he wants sex and I'm not ready ever since I came back home, and he hates Melody and I just wanted to get out of the house and I've been asking Tyler to come over to talk to him about it, I'm sorry", she looked at me with such a hatred.

"You BITCH you should've just told me, I've been swearing his name up and down, I was about to burn his clothes, I mean now I'm better, way better, no wonder he always smells like pancakes when he comes back", I tried to make my self sad as she looked at my trying to be sad face and from how she rushed over to me it was definitely working.

"Why is my favorite couple fighting?", she asked as I made up a melted sob story.

"He's just so-I just don't want to talk about it, can we just forget about him, I don't want to get drunk or anything hell knows I'll end up calling him if that happens, I just want to uh. spend his money today", I said hoping she wouldn't take it literally and buy a plane or a yacht.

"Okay well, let's get out of here", she pulled me up and dragged me around the mall. We ended up getting her a red dress to match with the theme of the "art gallery". I also played my role and splurged a bit, using my set aside amount of money. Shoes, makeup and accessories were all taken care of as I could just imagine Avery's smile once she realizes what today will be remembered as. After all our hair, clothes and accessories were in place I warned her that we were going to be late as the time neared and everyone on my end was ready. We raced out of the mall and I quickly exited the garage.

"You and Nolan will work it out, trust me", she said trying to comfort me as I maintained my sad face and hoped she wouldn't realize the little smile I tried to hide.

"Can we take some pictures first, please there's this really cute park, it's the one you love remember", I begged her as the moon was in the right spot just at the edge of the water.

"Fine but quick this art friend will be disappointed if we don't show up", she added as I parked the car making sure she couldn't see anything.

"It just surprises me how eternal love is, and I have that and I want you to have that", I hinted as we walked down to the water or for me the spot where history was going to be made.

"You and Nolan made up, listen I'll be fine now that I know Tyler won't be leaving me anytime soon", she walked backwards towards the rock as I saw Tyler peaking behind the rock.

"Try forever", I turned her around as Tyler was standing there in a black suit, with everything arranged to perfection, the candles were set perfect and the bottle of champagne was left on the blanket, for her dream proposal. She looked glowing as she saw him. She ran to him wrapping him up in her arms. I made my way back as I knew they had some things to talk about. I made my way over to the crowd as I saw Nolan sitting with his mom. There was a group of people lined up waiting for the moment she would say yes.

"You look beautiful", he said as he twirled me up and kissed me, right in front of his mom. She just smiled.

"You look very handsome", I brushed his hair through my fingers as he held me tightly.

"Love is in the air, you two haven't left your honeymoon phase and they're just getting engaged I have lived a good life", Alison said as I couldn't agree more with her. Except for Alec who had a concerning conversation with Caroline last night.

"He wouldn't talk about her, today he said he just wanted to focus on Avery and Tyler", Nolan said after he noticed me giving off my concerned glances in Alec's direction.

"Oh Clay came I'll be right back",she said as I saw the girls from the back seat of the car. I guided Nolan back to the car as he looked so confused, but as I closed the door and whispered "I'm ready" in his ear he finally got it.

His hands traveled through my hair we kissed with all the magic we had, making every moment count. It was magic and just as he began unzipping my dress, I saw everyone gathering over the stone and I tapped Nolan's shoulder as he got off me. I quickly fixed my hair and wiped my lipstick off his now red-stained lips. We stumbled out of the car and ran towards the rock hoping to see the magic.

"Yes", I heard as Avery smiled so happily, Tyler was kneeling with the small ring-box presented to her in his hands.
