IT'S THE NEXT MORNING, AND I'M BEYOND EXHAUSTED.

I tried to fight. I really did. After Evie came back from the store, she untied me so I could use the bathroom.

After I came back out, I tried to run, but she caught me by my ankle, causing me to fall and hit the bed post.

Now I have a huge bruise on my forehead and a busted lip.

When she went to sleep, I spent the whole night trying to break the duct tape. But it was no use.

I'm just so glad that she decided not to dye my hair yet.

"Italy or Europe is the real question," Evie said as she typed away on her computer.

I rolled my eyes as I tried to stay awake.

"Evie, you need to let me go before things turn ugly," I warned her, making her eyes snap up at me.

"I'm not scared of your brothers or Brent," she replied, shutting her computer.

"I'm not talking about them. What are you eighteen? You will go to federal prison for the rest of your life."

"You are trying to scare me into letting you go, but that's not going to happen, Campbell."

At that point, my anger and my frustration let loose.

"Do Dean even know what you did to Peyton? Did he know she was pregnant?" I asked her, making her stay silent.

I laughed, like actually laughed. "He isn't going to love you after he finds out, and that's if he even loved you in the first place."

Then I was slapped by Evie. My head snapped to the left, and my cheek was on fire. I looked back to see her scowling.

Then she clasped her hands onto my wrists.

"See that's where you are wrong. Dean is never going to find out. He thinks Alec did it, and it's going to stay that way," Evie replied before adding,"Why don't we make a phone call?"

Evie retreated, and she pulled my phone from her pocket. She had a wicked smile on her face.

"Password?" Evie asked me, looking up from the phone.

"I'm not telling you my password," I replied with a shake of my head.

"Why do you have to make everything so difficult, Campbell?" Evie asked, placing her hands on her hips. "Please just tell me your password."

"No."

"Fine then," Evie replied as she threw on her jacket. Then she slipped her shoes on.

"What are you doing?" I asked her, furrowing my eyebrows.

"I can torture you in different ways, Campbell. I think I'm going to pay Leah a visit. Maybe even Jordan," Evie said before snapping her fingers. "How about Vanessa? Madison? Maya? Hailey? Nichole? Maybe even Lisa and unborn Amber."

My heart raced as I thought about any of them getting hurt because of me.

"I'll give you my password. Don't hurt them, please," I begged like the weakling I am.

Evie smirked,"Okay. Password?"

"04303," I answered with no hesitation.

"Is this a birthday?" Evie asked as she tapped something on my phone.

I scowled but I said,"It's Brent's birthday."

"Aww. How adorable," Evie replied, looking up from my phone. "Speaking of Brent how about we give him a phone call."

My eyes widen when she pressed the call button. She sat on the table before putting the phone call on speaker.

He picked up on the third ring.

"Campbell?" Brent asked, worriedly.

Just hearing his voice made my heart hurt. My eyes welled with tears. It was amazing to hear his voice.

"She's kinda of busy at the moment, but I'm here," Evie responded with a happy grin.

"Brent!" I called out, struggling against the tape.

"Campbell, are you okay?" Brent asked with concern.

"Not really," I simply replied.

"I am going to find you, I promise," Brent promised me, making tears slide down my cheeks.

"Don't make promises you can't keep, Brent," Evie replied, curtly.

"Evie, I swear to everything you love, if you hurt her-.." he was cut off by Evie.

"End me blah blah. Look she is all yours if I get what I want."

"What do you want?" Brent asked, keeping his voice calm.

"I want money. I want to leave this country and enter a new one without being chased down by cops. I want to have a happy life with Dean."

Brent stayed silent for a moment before saying,"I can get those things for you, but it's going to take a while."

Evie tsked,"That's too bad. I really didn't want to do this, but you left me no choice. This is going to be your fault, Brent."

I was confused on what she meant, but I realized when she grabbed her knife off the table. My eyes widen as she came close to me with it.

Then she stabbed the knife into my lower stomach, making me scream. Evie ripped it out, causing me to scream louder.

Pain erupted throughout my body, and the bottom half of my shirt was soaked with blood.

"Campbell?!" Brent yelled through my screaming. "Evie, what did you do?!"

My voice died out, and tears flooded down my cheeks. Evie smiled as she put the knife back on the table.

"Campbell, baby, please talk to me. What happened?" Brent asked once more as his voice broke.

"You have about four to five hours before Campbell bleeds out. I want all of those things or your girlfriend bleeds to death. Your choice. I'll give you a location when you let me know all of those things are done. I'll see you in a little bit, Brent," Evie said before hanging up the phone.

Then she tossed the phone on the bed.

"Evie, please untie me. I need to make the bleeding stop. I'm not going to run. I can't run," I said before taking deep breaths.

Evie sighed,"Fine, but if you run, I won't hesitate to stab you somewhere else."

I nodded, and cut off the duct tape around my wrists. I lifted up my shirt to see the damage, and dark blood oozed out of the stab wound.

"Can you get me a towel, please?" I asked her before wincing in pain.

"Such a baby. It's a little blood," Evie mumbled under her breath, but she gave me a small towel.

I held it against the wound, tightly, to keep pressure on it.

"I hate you with everything in me," I told her as she laid on the bed.

"And you act like a give a shit," Evie replied, batting her eyelashes.

The white towel is now turning a red color from all the blood.

"What made you like this? What made you think 'oh I'm going to go kill girls who get close to my boyfriend' ?" I asked her before another wave of pain hit.

"I'm not asking any questions, and also if I were you, I would save my breath," Evie said before standing up from the bed. "I'm going to go take a shower."

She grabbed the duct tape, but stopped when she realized that I wasn't going to move.

"We are expecting somebody shortly so I must look nice," Evie told me before going to the bathroom with a handful of clothes.

I heard the shower turn on, and I knew this was my chance. I could get out of here, and I can find help.

I slowly stood up from the chair, biting the inside of my lip to keep myself from screaming as pain shot up my body.

I took a shaky step forward, holding the towel tightly on the stab wound. I took a couple steps forward very slowly. I looked back to see if Evie was behind me.

She wasn't.

I used one hand to grabbed ahold of the door handle.

I was so close to freedom.

Clenching my jaw together from the pain, I turned the door. That's when I heard the shower turn off.

I opened the door as quick as I could. I looked back to make sure she wasn't opening the bathroom door.

I took a step out of the door, but when I turned back, I ran into a hard chest.

I looked up to see Dean staring down at me with a curious look on his face.

Oh shit.
