"OH MY GOSH, I'M GOING TO FALL," I said as I put my left foot on a yellow circle.

"You? Look at me," Gavin said, making me look over him to see that he does in fact have it worse.

It was Saturday evening, and the boys and I are playing Twister. It's so freaking hard. If you can play Twister without falling in the first ten minutes, you are amazing in my book.

"No, I can't do it. I'm tapping out," Nick said as he fell to the ground with a relieved sigh.

"So Gavin and Campbell are the only two left. Who will win?" Micheal announced, leaning against the couch.

Gaberial spinner the spinner and said,"Right foot green."

"Oh crap," I mumbled as I realized thy at there was no way I could move my right foot. I slowly moved it over to the green, but I lost my balance and I fell.

"And Gavin wins the third round of Twister! Good game, everybody," Micheal said with a clap of his hands.

"I do not have the flexibility to do all that," Nick groaned, stretching his arms.

"And I undoubtedly don't have the balance," I added, sitting next to him on the couch.

"You should see Brent play this game. He wins almost every time. He wins almost everything. I swear he's a secret ninja,"Gaberial informed me, making me laugh.

"Well, not bowling," Nick replied making me shake my head.

"He hit four pins!" I defended my boyfriend, holding up four fingers.

They laughed, and I said,"Speaking of Brent, can one you invite him over so I hang out with him? Please."

I saw him yesterday at school, but I miss him. Plus this would be a great time to tell him about what I'm doing in a few hours.

Nick sighed,"Fine."

I squealed, and I hugged him. "Thank you."

Nick texted Brent asking him if he wanted to come over, and Brent replied with a yes.

Within twenty minutes, Brent was walking into our home with a smile on his face. I ran over to him, and we hugged.

"So I'm guessing you wanted to see me?" Brent asked as we broke apart.

I nodded, pushing a strand of hair behind my ear."Yeah. So in case Mom and Dad come home, it seems like you are hanging out with them and not me."

Brent gave me a kiss on the lips, and the boys groaned and gagged.

"Get a room, lovebirds," Gaberial said before adding,"But please keep it PG."

I rolled my eyes, but I said,"We will."

We walked upstairs to my room. When we walked in my room, I shut the door behind us.

Brent laid on my bed, and I laid on top of him, resting my chin on his chest.

"How are your knuckles today?" Brent asked me, holding my hands in his.

"They are fine just like yesterday," I told him as he let go of my hands.

My knuckles are bruised, but they don't really hurt.

Brent wrapped his arms around my back, lifting my shirt a little so his hands were touching my bare back.

"What do you want to do? We could watch a movie," Brent suggested, rubbing my back with his hands.

Sparks went throughout my body, and I smiled, sweetly.

"I just want to sit here and love on my boyfriend," I replied, making him smile.

"I like that idea," Brent told me before I kissed him.

His hands travelled up my back, resting right below my bra strap. As the kiss deepened, I remembered that I was suppose to be telling him my plan.

"Brent," I said, breaking away from the kiss. "I need to tell you something."

"What's wrong?" Brent asked as his eyebrows furrowed together in confusion.

"I ran into Dean the other day in the grocery store," I said, and I felt Brent's body tense.

"What? Did he touch you?" Brent asked, angrily.

"He grabbed my wrist, but I'm fine," I answered, calmly.

"That bastard. He should know by now not to touch you. Does he need another ass beating?"

"Brent, calm down," I told him, making him cup my cheek with his hand. "Evie stopped him before he could seriously hurt me."

"That still doesn't make it okay," Brent argued, making me sigh.

"I know, Brent, but I could care less about me right now. Evie had a busted lip and a splint on her left wrist."

"You think he's abusing her?"

I nodded,"Yeah I do. I told Alec, and we were planning on going over to her house tonight to talk with her."

Brent shook his head,"Nope. I do not like that idea. If you haven't forgotten, Alec is the number one suspect in a murder investigation."

"He didn't do it, Brent. Alec cared for Peyton, and I don't think he would hurt her or me," I argued with him.

"Do you have any visual proof that he didn't hurt you?" Brent asked and I stayed silent. "Exactly. All we know is that he is Malcom's son, and he can't be trusted."

"If Evie is being hurt by Dean, I'm going to help her. Alec is the only one who knows where she lives."

We both stayed silent for a few minutes before Brent asked,"You aren't going to let this go, are you?"

I shook my head, and he sighed before saying,"If you are going to do this, I'm going with you. I sure as hell won't leave you alone with Alec."

I smiled,"Thank you, Brent."

He nodded and I gave him another kiss on the lips. Within a second, the kiss deepened, and Brent tightly wrapped his arms around me. Then he rolled over so I was laying on the bed, and he was on top of me.

Brent kissed my jawline as his hands played with the back of my bra. I tugged at the hems of his shirt, he took it off, making me smile.

Our lips met again, and I wrapped my arms around his neck.

"Hey, guys, do you guys want to-...oh sweet baby Jesus!" Nick said as he walked into the room.

Brent and I looked at the doorway to see Nick covering his eyes.

"My eyes! I need some holy water!" Nick exclaimed, dramatically. "This is not PG!"

Nick walked back out of my room, slamming the door behind him. We heard him shouting out in the hallway, and Brent and I laughed.

"What in the hell is he doing here?" Alec asked as Brent and I climbed into the backseat of his car.

It was around ten o'clock, and I told everybody that I was going to bed. Then I snuck out the window before meeting Brent who was parked a couple houses down.

"I could ask the same for you," Brent replied with a smirk.

"Look, you two, stop bickering like toddlers. You two are going to get along whether you like it or not," I scolded both of them.

"But he," they both started talking at the same time.

"Boys!" I yelled, making them shut up. "Please just put away your differences for tonight. There is somebody that probably needs our help, and I need you two to be on the same side. Teamwork makes the dream work."

They both nodded in agreement, and I said,"Let's get going."

"Okay," Alec replied before driving off towards Evie house.

I leaned back in the seat, and Brent wrapped an arm around my shoulders.

It was going to take us at least forty minutes to get to Evie's house since it was in the next town over.

I just hope we aren't too late.
