A/N: I swear guys, this story will be super weird and awful, but just bear with it because you guys wanted it. Seriously, just don't kill me. I'm too young to die! This was written by a 10 year old girl, me, and it's not very good. So please, forgive me. You may not start reading, but seriously don't kill me. Love ya!

Also, I only mildly edited this. Just a few spelling and grammar errors. This is gonna embarrass me so much, but I publish this because I love you guys so much and you're really supportive of me!

Third Person POV:

Once upon a time, there was a girl named Nicole Remedy. Nicole is a beautiful teenage girl, with brunette hair and emerald green eyes with a hint of blue in them, she is 18 years old and is in her Nicole was currently playing with her dog on a lovely sunny day, then the door bell rang. She was confused as to who was at the door, but went to check who it was anyway.

She opened the door to see the mailman, and he had a letter for her. She wondered who it was from and thought about all the possible people who would send letters in this era. She went upstairs with her dog following her and went upstairs to her room. She jumped on her bed and ripped open the letter since it didn't say anything about who it was from on the envelope. She opened it up and read it aloud.

'Dear Nicole,

You're probably wondering why the heck I'm writing a letter when I can just text you, well my phone broke and it's literally the worst timing ever. Anyways, the point of this letter is because I heard you're back in town and I wanted to somehow meet up. You probably didn't notice, but I've had this huge crush on you ever since we were little kids. I would always tease you because whenever you'd get mad, these little dimples show up and I honestly found it really adorable.

Anyways, I'm completely changing the topic but what I'm trying to say is that I wanted to meet up and was wondering if you would meet me in our old spot in the park tomorrow afternoon. Remember the tree? I sure hope  you do, because I would look like a complete idiot sitting around waiting for a girl who wasn't even gonna show up. I'll be waiting there, all day if I have to. See you around!

                                                                                                                                                        Your friend, John.

She dropped the paper and started squealing up and down. She's had the biggest crush on John ever since they first met in the same exact spot they were suppose to meet on. She was really nervous, but was really excited at the same time. She hasn't seen John since she moved to a new town because she was getting bullied a lot and couldn't handle it. She was really upset about leaving John, but she knew it was for the best.

*The Next Day*

The next day, Nicole was up and excited to see her old friend. She hasn't seen John in forever and was wondering what he looked like now. She put on her nicest clothes that were casual and played with her dog until it was time to go see her friend. She skipped down the stairs but was stopped by her mother.

"Hey, sweetie. Where are you going? You seem all dressed up, who are you meeting up with?" She asked, Nicole smiled at her mother and kissed her cheek as a good morning.

"Believe it or not, I'm meeting up with John." Nicole said, her mother spit out the drink she was drinking and Nicole just laughed.

"You're meeting up with John, as in John Keelson?!" Her mother exclaimed, Nicole laughed at her mother and nodded her head.

"Yes Mom, I'm meeting up with John. He sent me a letter yesterday saying that he wanted to meet up." She said, her mother shot up and wrapped her arms around her daughter.

"That's so great, sweetie. You and John were always the closest of friends. I always thought there was a little something going on between you guys." Her mother said, Nicole gasped and slapped her mother's arm.

"Mom!" She whined

"What? It's true! You both were always so cute together, I would've been so surprised if you two didn't end up together." Her mother replied, Nicole rolled her eyes and fixed her bag on her shoulder.

"I'm gonna get going, Mom. He's waiting for me." She said, her mother squealed and nodded her head.

"Alright, you go ahead. Say hi to John for me, I miss that kid." She said, Nicole nodded her head and walked out the door and began her walk to the park to meet her old friend.

It took her about 10 minutes to get to the park and when she got to their spot, she saw John sitting down with his back against the tree with his earphones in and his head leaned back. Nicole hid behind a tree and calmed her beating heart as she saw her old friend. He looked a bit different now, he looked more mature and definitely cuter than before.

She took a few deep breaths before stepping away from the tree and looked at her friend. She sighed and put a smile on her face. She walked towards her friend and he looked in her direction. He pulled out his earphones and let out a smile. He stood up and stuck his earphones in his pocket.

"Nicole?" He said unsurely, Nicole smiled and nodded her head.

"Yeah, look at you. You're so tall now." Nicole said looking her friend up and down. John sheepishly smiled and looked his friend up and down.

"You're even more beautiful that before." He said, scratching the back of his neck, causing Nicole to blush.

"So what are you up to these days?" Nicole asked him, they both stood facing each other with a hint of blush on their cheeks.

"Nothing really, I joined journalism." He shrugged

"Really? I thought you hated writing." Nicole gasped, John laughed and nodded his head.

"I thought too, but turns out it's really interesting." He said, Nicole smiled and admired her friend.

"So how's everyone in school?" She asked, John frowned and sighed.

"Well I all left them, because I found out that they were bullying you, which I guess is the reason why you left." He said, Nicole's smile dropped and grabbed John's hand.

"I hope you and your family are doing good though." She said, John's smile reappeared on his lips and gave Nicole's hands a little squeeze.

"Yeah, we're doing good." He said, Nicole was about to respond when her phone began to ring in her pocket. She gave John a shy smile and pulled out her phone to see her Mom calling. Nicole got confused but answered her phone anyway.

"Hello? Mom, what's wrong?" She asked, she heard her Mom sniffling in the other line and she got worried.

"Mom, what happened?" She asked, John looked at her friend in worry.

"It's Honey (A/N: Her dog, I know. It's cringe, just go along with it), somethings wrong with her. I don't know what happened, she's not eating and she looks so down." Her Mom replied, Nicole got worried and looked at John.

"Mom, I'm gonna be there in a few minutes." She said and hung up.

"Hey John, do you mind coming home with me? I need to check up on Honey." She said, John frowned and nodded his head.

"Sure thing, is there something wrong with her?" He asked as he pulled out his car keys from his pocket.

"I don't know, Mom says she's not eating and she looks really down." Nicole said, he nodded hi head and they both began walking to his car and drove back to Nicole's house.

Once they got home, they both got out and went in Nicole's house. Nicole's Mom greeted them both and they both went to the kitchen where Honey was seated on the counter with her head in her paws. Her ears perked up when she noticed that there was another person in the room, she looked at Honey and lifted her head up wagging her tail.

"Nothing seems to be wrong with her though." John said, he walked towards her and she jumped in his arms and licked him all over his face. He laughed and Nicole looked at them while laughing.

"Well she seems to miss you a lot." Nicole said and went over to them and rubbed Honey behind her ears making her let out a little bark.

"I guess she overheard you talking about John and was upset that you didn't bring her with you." Her Mom said letting out a laugh.

"I guess so." Nicole said, John looked at his friend and let out a smile.

"The whole reason I asked to meet up with you was because I wanted to know if you wanted to go out with me sometimes." He said, Nicole smiled and she saw her Mom giving her a thumbs up.

"Sure, I'd love to." She said
