Amanda's POV:

I started with the breakfast and soon enough everyone was running down the stairs. The twins were trying to get up on the stool, but yet again they couldn't because they were too short. Nate helped them up and they all sat down.

"What you makin' Mandy?" Christian asked

"Oh I'm making waffles, bacon and eggs, french toast, and chocolate and vanilla shakes." I said, they all just looked at me.

"What?" I asked

"You're seriously making all that?" Dani asked

"Yeah, it's really easy to make, and if you haven't noticed, there's like 11 of us." I chuckled

"Oh well yeah, you have a point." She mumbled

*A few minutes later*

"There we go, breakfast is served!" I exclaimed and gave them a smile.

"Wow these look really good, Mands." Kyle said

"Sissy cooks really good food, she makes the best french toast!" Ashton exclaimed

"Yeah, but her waffles are my favorite!" Ashley intervened, I chuckled and sat down beside Christian. He took a bite of the pancake and I saw his eyes widen.

"Mandy! These are delicious." He praised, I giggled and shook my head.

"I'm glad you like them." I said and took a bite of my bacon, that's some good bacon. Gosh, where does Veronica buy this? I saw everyone else take a bite of their food.

"So what do you guys think?" I asked them

"This is so good!" Naomi moaned

"Where did you learn to make this?" Nate asked

"Oh those are my mom's recipes, she loved cooking. She usually cooks breakfast food, but overall she's a really good cook." I said

Mom loved cooking, she was a housewife so she usually stays at home. There would always be a plate of cookies waiting for me when I get home from school. Her chocolate chip cookies were the best, she would write down all the ingredients of her dishes and then she said one day she would give it to me. She never got to give it to me herself, but I found it in their room. I miss her so much, I miss how we would cook together and then throw food at each other. My mom was my best friend, I used to tell her everything and she would listen to all my problems. Mom also loved Christian, she loved Christian like he was her own.

Dad, he was my hero. He would always cheer me up when I'm down. He would make me laugh non stop with his bad dad jokes. He would chase after the guys that went near me, although Christian was an exception. I remember the time that I fell from the tree in our backyard, Dad was so worried, but he didn't get mad at me. He was whispering soothing words in my ear while I cried. Dad would always bring me and Mom out every Sunday and we would go and eat out. When the twins came, their love for me didn't lessen, they loved us equally. I miss them so much, I wish I could have known what happened to them.

"Hey, what are you so quiet?" I heard Madison ask, I shook the thoughts out of my head and I looked at her.

"Sorry, I was just thinking about something." I apologised, they all looked at each other, I bowed my head and continued eating my food. As soon as I finished my food, I looked at the time and saw that we still had a bit of time left, so I figured I would wash the dishes.

"Hey, are you guys done eating?" I asked them, they all nodded their heads. I collected their plates and walked over to the sink.

"How about you guys go to the living room and watch TV with everyone else?" Christian told the twins, they eagerly nodded their heads and dragged everyone else in the living room with them. Christian walked over beside me and helped me with the dishes.

"I know you were thinking about your parents." He said, I sighed and turned to him.

"It sucks that you know me too well." I pouted, he laughed and shook his head.

"You have that look on your face, you look like you're in the zone." He said in a more serious tone.

"I just miss them so much, and I really can't help but wonder what happened to them. I mean they didn't find their bodies and we didn't have a funeral for them." I said, I turned off the faucet and wiped my hands.

"What do you think happened to them, Chris?" I asked him

"Honesty, I don't know." He said

"But what I do know is that they're really proud of you." He said with a smile

"You think so?" I asked

"I know so" I didn't hesitate to wrap my arms around him, he wrapped his arms around me and held me close.

"I really missed you Mandy." He said with a sigh

"You say that too much." I said trying to lighten up the mood.

"Because it's true, I really do miss you." He said, I chuckled as he held me tighter.

"I missed you too Chris, I really did." I said and held him close ignoring the sparks that rushed through my body. After what seemed like forever, we finally pulled away.

"Do you think we should go now? We still have to drop the twins." I asked, he looked at the time and nodded his head at me.

"Yeah we should probably go." He said and we walked over to the living room where everyone else was and told them it was time to leave. I went upstairs to get the twins' stuff and then ran downstairs to see everyone gathering their stuff.

"Everyone ready to go?" I asked, they all turned to me and nodded their heads. I gave the twins their bags and we all walked out.

"So what's the arrangements?" Bryan asked

"Me, the twins, and the girls in one car!" Naomi yelled and went over to what I assume is Nate's car.

"Alright, we'll see you in school." Christian said, we all separated and piled in the cars.

"Alright, so where to?" Naomi asked getting in the driver's seat.

"I'll show you the way." I said getting in the backseat with Madison and the twins. Ashley sat on my lap while Ashton sat in-between my and Madison. We took off and drove to Mrs Ferguson's house. When we got there, I told the girls to stay in the car and that I'll just be quick. Me and the twins got out of the car and walked over to the front door. I knocked on the door and was greeted by Daniel.

"Amanda, oh I missed you. I heard what happened, are you okay? Why didn't you tell us?" He asked

"I'm alright now Daniel, how did you know?" I asked him

"Oh your friend Christian told us, he's a good kid." He said

"Alright, well I came her to drop off the twins, I'll be back later to pick them up." I said, he nodded his head and welcomed the twins inside.

"So are there any news on your Aunt?" He asked

"Nope, still none, but for now me and the twins are staying with Christian because we don't know where she could be." I said, he nodded his head and wrapped his arms around me.

"You're such a strong girl Amanda, I admire you for that, I'm proud of you." He said, I melted in his arms and sighed, this is so much like a father's love. I can't help but feel loved.

"Thank you Daniel, that means a lot." I said, we pulled away and he gave me a smile.

"Well you best be off, I don't want to be the reason why you're late, I'll tell Kacy you stopped by." He said, I nodded my head and said my goodbyes, I walked away and got back in the car.

"Off to school we go!" Naomi exclaimed

"Yay" Dani said sarcastically
