Amanda's POV:

"Amanda!" I heard two voices say from the door, I looked over at the door and saw the twins with Veronica and Tyler behind them. They ran over to me and jumped on my head which made me let out an 'oof'.

"You're okay" Ashley whispered and wrapped her arms around my neck.

"Of course I'm okay, I told you guys I won't be leaving you guys any time soon." I said and pulled Ashton in the hug.

"We thought we lost you Sissy." He said and buried his face in the crook of my neck while Ashley buried her face in my chest.

"You won't lose me, I'm here to stay. I love you both very much." I said and kissed each of their heads.

"Don't scare us like that again Sissy." Ashton said as I felt a wetness in my neck, that's when I realized he was crying. I pulled him away from my neck and looked him in the eye.

"Hey don't cry bud, I'm here now. I'm fine, don't cry." I said and wiped the tears away from his eyes. Ashley was still in my chest clinging onto me for dear life.

"You scared us Sissy." He whispered out

"We thought we lost you forever." Ashley mumbled softly

"I will always be here for you guys, I won't leave you, I promise." I reassured them and squeezed them tight.

"We're so glad you're alright Amanda." I heard Veronica say, I looked over at her and saw her with Tyler by her side. He has his arm wrapped around her waist as he held her close.

"Thank you for taking care of the twins while I was recovering." I smiled at them grateful.

"Oh that's nothing dear, they weren't much trouble. Although, they were very worried." She said

"You scared us Amanda, why didn't you tell us?" Tyler asked, I sighed and looked down at the twins who were already looking at me.

"I didn't want to burden anyone, so I kept it to myself." I said in a low voice

"You should've told us Amanda, when did this start?" He asked

"It started when my parents died, she moved in a couple days after their death. When she first walked in the house she immediately asked where her room was, she didn't even ask how we were doing. Then, she ordered me to cook food for her. I was confused, I didn't know why she was like that.

The first I met Aunt Lucy, she was so kind and caring, but she seemed so different when she moved in. Anyway, so she ordered me to cook food, I did as she said and put the twins to bed. When she came down for dinner, she looked at the food in disgust. She said she didn't eat vegetables and she slapped me. I was so confused, I didn't know what to do.

My first thought was to tell you guys, but then I remember Christian telling me to leave him alone, and so I kept it to myself. I dealt with the beatings and protected the twins, taking care of them like they're my own." I explained, they were all listening attentively to my story. I looked over to Christian and saw the guilt look on his face. I unwrapped my arm from Ashley and put a hand on his.

"Don't be guilty Chris, it's not your fault." I reassured him, he looked up to me with a frown on his lips.

"No, this is my fault. This could've stopped years ago, but I stopped you from doing so. Amanda, I'm so sorry, I didn't know this was going to happen to you, I'm so stupid, I'm so sorry. I never thought that this would-"

I cut him off and said, "Christian, stop. This is not your fault. I could've still asked but chose not to, don't blame yourself for something you didn't do."

"But Amanda-" I cut him off again

"No buts, please don't blame yourself." He sighed but nodded his head and gave me a small smile.

"Oh yeah, Mom, Dad, can Amanda and the twins stay with us? I really don't want them to live alone in that house, specially with their Aunt roaming around. Please." He asked, I looked over to Veronica and Tyler who were already smiling.

"I don't see why not, you are family to us after all." Tyler said pulling Veronica closer to him. The twins pulled away from me and looked at them with wide eyes.

"We're staying with you guys?!" They exclaimed, Veronica and Tyler both nodded their heads and smiled.

"Yes, you're staying with us from now on!" Veronica beamed

"You're really gonna let us stay with you guys?" I asked stroking Ashely's hair.

"We're more than happy to let you guys stay with us." Veronica said with a big smile on her face. I can't believe this, they're really letting us stay with them?

"Are you sure? We won't be intruding or anything?" I asked, they shook their heads and gave me big smiles.

"We'd love to have you in our home." Veronica said, the twins jumped out of my arms and hugged Veronica and Tyler.

"Thank you!" They said, I couldn't help but tear up a bit. I still couldn't believe that they were letting us stay with them.

"Amanda, why are you crying?" Chris asked

"I'm just really glad to have you guys in my life, I don't know what I'd do without you guys. Thank you so much for helping me, you don't know how much it means to me." I said and wrapped my arms around him. I felt him wrap his around around me.

"We're happy to help Amanda, and beside I still owe to a whole lot more." He said, I pulled away and shook my head at him.

"No Christian, you don't owe me anything anymore. You've done more than enough." I said with a smile, he looked at me and smiled.

"Really?"

"Really" I said, he wrapped his arms around me once again and squeezed me hard.

"Uhmm Christian, I kinda need to breathe." I managed to say, he pulled away and flashed me an apologetic smile.

"Do you fully forgive me?" He asked

"Of course I do Christian, you gave me your kidney for gosh sake." I smiled, he looked at me with those eyes that I could get lost in.

"Not to ruin your moment or anything, but we're still here." I heard Kyle say, I looked away from his eyes and looked at everyone else.

"Oh right, sorry." I mumbled and bowed my head.

I think I'm starting to like Christian, but something tells me it's something more than that.
