Amanda's POV:

I walked downstairs and saw the twins trying to get on the stools. Ashton was trying to help Ashley up but he couldn't because he was too small.

"You guys are absolutely adorable, alright let's get you both fed." I said and helped them up. I gave them their Mac N Cheese and they both just looked at me.

"You're not gonna eat, Sissy?" Ashton asked, I shook my head and gave them a smile.

"I'm not really hungry." I said, they both shrugged and went back to eating their food. I heard a knock on the door and ran to get it. I opened it to see Christian.

"Hey Chris, come in, the twins are just eating dinner, they'll be done soon." I said, he nodded his head and we both walked to the kitchen.

"Chrisy!" They both shouted and jumped off the stool, which made me have a mini heart attack, and hug each of his legs.

"Kids, you can't jump off the stools like that, you could've hurt yourselves, I was about to have a heart attack." I said putting a hand to my chest. They both giggled and clung to Christian like Koalas.

"Chill out Mandy, I'll be here to catch them." Christian reassured, I just rolled my eyes and stuck my tongue out at him.

"Whatever" I said and took the twins' plate and put them in the sink, I'll wash them later when I get back.

"So I'm gonna get their things and then we can go." I said

"I'll come with you." Christian said and placed the twins on the counter.

"Now you two behave." He said and walked with me to the twins' room. He looked around and then looked at me.

"Hey, wasn't this your parents' room?" He asked, I froze in my place, he's right, this was my parents' room.

"Uhmm yeah, this was their room." I said and got he twins' bags and tossed Ashton's to him, which he caught ever so gracefully.

"You miss them, don't you?" He asked, of course I miss them, is that even a question?!

"Yeah, I miss them a lot." I sighed and walked out of the room to go to mine. I got my purse and everything else I needed. I walked out to meet Christian in the hallway.

"So you got everything you need?" He asked, I gave him a smile and nodded his head.

"Yeah, I'm ready, let's go." I said and walked down the stairs with him following behind. I walked in in the kitchen to see the twins playing Patty Cake. I smiled at the sight and sighed.

These twins mean the absolute world to me, I don't know what I'd do if they were taken away from me. I love them too much to lose them. It's like they're my children and they're a part of me. I can't lose them, I won't lose them.

"You guys ready?" I heard Christian ask the twins. The twins both nodded their heads and reached for us to bring them down. I went for Ashton while Christian went for Ashley. We placed them down and walked to the front door.

"Let's go, do you want us to bring you to work first, Mandy?" Christian asked, I looked at the time on my phone and saw that it was still about 8:30, I had an hour to spare.

"Nah, what do you say we go to your house for a while and just hang?" I suggested, he gave me a smile and nodded his head.

"Sure, let's go!" He said and drove away from my driveway.

We got to his house in about 10 minutes. We got out of the car and in his house. We walked in and went to the living room where his parents were.

"Hey Mom and Dad, we're here." Christian said, they turned their heads to us and stood up.

"Hello Amanda, twins." Veronica said and gave me a hug, the twins hugged each of her leg.

"Hello to you guys too." She laughed, Tyler (Mr. Matthews), walked over to me and gave me a hug as well.

"We're gonna go upstairs to hang for a while before Amanda has to go to work." Christian said to his parents

"You have a job?" Tyler asked

"Yeah, I work at a little cafe just outside our neighborhood, it pays quite a decent amount." I explained

"Well what does your Aunt do for a living?" Veronica asked, shit what the hell am I supposed to say?! They don't know that they she doesn't have a job, they might think something bad of it. I don't want them to talk to her or anything, she might hurt me more, she might even kill me!

"Uhmm I don't really know, she doesn't really do anything, she works from time to time, she's here and there, roaming around." I said with a nervous chuckle, the three of them looked at each other and then at me.

"Well she seems....lovely. I'd love to meet her sometime." Veronica said, my eyes widened and I almost choked on my saliva.

"Uhmm she isn't really social, she's all around the city, she's usually just at home." I said with a forced smile.

"Uhmm well okay then." She said

"Do you feel hot, Amanda? You're sweating." Tyler said, I touched my forehead and sure enough I was sweating a lot, shit, I forgot, I sweat when I'm nervous, and Christian knows that.

"Yeah, but I can manage." I said

"Okay then, you guys go upstairs and have fun." Veronica said

"Yeah, but not too much fun." Tyler smirked, I felt my eyes go wide and felt my cheeks redden.

"Dad!" Christian exclaimed

"Oh hush Tyler, they'll be fine, they're responsible enough." Veronica said

"Now go ahead." The twins ran up the stairs and me and Christian followed them. We walked in his room to find them looking for something.

"What are you guys looking for?" I asked them

"We're looking for the TV remote, Spongebob Squarepants is on at this time." Ashton said, me and Christian just looked at each other and bursted out in laughter.

"Cmon Chrisy, don't just stand there! Help us find the remote!" Ashley demanded and Christian just looked at me.

"You heard her, help them look for the remote." I chuckled and he just groaned and went over to the twins and helped them look. After a few minutes of them looking, they still didn't find it.

"Where the heck did I put that remote?" Christian exclaimed, I rolled my eyes and looked around the room. My eyes darted to the TV and that's where I found the remote. Jeez, these people are blind! I walked over to the TV and grabbed the remote. I waved the remote in their faces and they just looked at me.

"Where did you find it?" Christian asked

"It was beside the TV, idiot!" I said and flicked his forehead.

"Owww, that's hurts!" He whine and rubbed his forehead.

"Oh stop being such a baby." I said and turned on the TV and putting on Spongebob Squarepants.

"Yay!" The twins cheered and sat still on the bed staring at the TV.

"Wow, they seem to love Spongebob." Christian said

"You have no idea." I said, I looked at the time and saw that it was 9:00. It takes about 10 minutes to go to the cafe and I still need to get ready so I figured that it's time for me to go.

"Hey Chris" He looked at me and raised an eyebrow.

"I need to go to work now." I said

"Oh okay, let me just tell Mom, cmon come with me." He said, I nodded my head and looked at the twins.

"Hey guys, I'm headed to work now, you guys be good, okay?" I said, they turned their heads away from the TV and looked at me.

"Okay Sissy, we love you." Ashley said, I gave them a smile and kissed their heads.

"I'll be back soon, I love you guys so much." I said and hugged them tight.

"You guys be good to Christian." I said, they both nodded their heads and gave me a smile.

"I'll go now, I love you both." I said and stood up. I walked over to where Christian was. He and I walked downstairs to the living room where his parents were.

"Mom, Dad" Their heads snapped in our direction and gave us smiles.

"Yes dear, do you need anything?" Veronica asked

"Amanda's heading off to work and I'm gonna drop her off. Do you guys mind keeping an eye on the twins? They're just watching, they won't be much trouble." Christian asked

"Of course we will, we love those two." Tyler said and gave me a smile which I returned.

"Thank you guys" I said

"We're heading off now, I'll be back in less than an hour." Christian said and we both walked out the front door. He opened the passenger door for me and gave me a smile.

"What a gentleman." I smiled

"Only for you Mandy." He smiled back
