Kate's P.O.V

"This is so much fun, oh my god!!!" I screamed as my horse Casper decided to just run.

"Yess, it is!" Ethan and his horse Coco joined us.

"Thank you for bringing me here Ethan, the best date ever." I beamed with joy.

"Anything for you." Ethan said and my heart skipped a bit.

We were now sitting under a tree at a farm corner having our snacks. Leon made us some tacos and milkshake.

"How come you didn't go to horse riding when you were child with Liam or your best friend?" He asked me.

I gave a dry laugh, "Liam used to be busy with his studies and football practices. And Avery and I met in college. Back then I didn't have any close friends. Parents were out of question as they never cared about me. I don't even know why they adopted me in the first place. I would have been better in the orphanage." My eyes brimmed with me.

"Hey, don't say that. Because of that we got married. I got to meet such an amazing woman that is you Kate. It's your parents loss, they didn't care about you." He so sweetly said it.

"You sure know how to cheer up a person." I blinked my tears.

"Only when its my wife." He pulled me closer to him and wiped my tears with pad of his thumb.

"Where is my arrogant husband huh? What did you do to him?" I asked jokingly.

"He got fired by me." He laughed.

I came closer to him and rested my head on his chest. We both didn't say a word but we knew we were not mere strangers now. Both of us were feeling something which we couldn't name of. Feelings for each other. I guess.

Ethan's P.O.V

It's been three weeks since our date. We both have been equally busy these weeks. Kate was busy with her dance rehearsals and I was busy with my India project. I had decided to go the next day of Kate's competition. If she wants to come, we will go together. That will be our second trip together.

I was working in my company when my secretary knocked on the door.

"Come in."

"Mr. Robinson, this is the packet someone left at my desk addressed to you. It was there before I came here in the morning." She handed over me a brown envelope.

Strange!

"Alright. You can go, thanks."

After she left I opened the envelope to find a photo and a note. The photo was of Kate with another man. The photo was taken in her studio and heck they were kissing. Who the fuck was this guy?

After our date, we were very happy with each other. Though we were busy but we used to talk at night. She seemed happy with me. Both of us had not talked about our feelings for each other yet but we surely didn't hate or disgust each other to cheat on each other.

Why did she do that? This photo doesn't look fake at all. They are kissing. But why? I am just not understanding anything. Jesus.

Wait there is a note:
Hey Ethan, see for yourself your wife is cheating on you sweetheart. Hope you like my surprise.

Xoxo.

Who the heck is this now?

I instantly went home. To my luck Kate was already home reading a book. When she saw me she came towards me with a smile on her face.

Now I don't understand is that smile for me or for her boyfriend whom she meets?

"Hey you came home early!" She cheered.

"Why? Can't I come home early? Should I go back if you don't want me around?" I spat.

Her expressions quickly changed at my outburst. I didn't mean to do that but that photo I just can't get out of my mind.

"Ethan! Why would you say that? I'm happy you came back early. Did something happened at work?" She asked touching my arm.

I shrugged her hand a bit to roughly.

"Hey, please tell me. Why are you so cranky? If you will share with me you will feel light."

I wonder this concern she is showing is real? If yes, then what is the photo all about?

"You seemed very much happy. Some Santa came to you?" I asked her completely ignoring what she said to me.

She looked at me for a moment but then answered, "Yeah, I mean today one of the manager of the competition came in the studio. He told us about how the competition will work. I mean we knew but they told it was their job to let us know each and everything."

She lied to me, she told me the manager came. But they guy in the photo didn't look like a manager at all.

"Ohh."

"Just ohh. You have nothing else to say?"

"I don't."

Kate's P.O.V

"Ethan now come on. You tell me right now what has gotten into you. You haven't talked to me whole day."

It was next day, when I came from my final rehearsal he was already home. He didn't talk to me last night. I thought something happened at work. He didn't go to work today nor did he called me or even messaged me.

"Kate stop acting like you care. Just stop pretending okay?" He yelled at me.

"What are you talking about? Why will I pretend Ethan?" I cupped his face.

He pushed away my hand,
"I'm talking about this Kate."

He threw a photo at me. I picked up the photo and got the shock of my life.
