Ethan's P.O.V

"I met Natalie today."

I had to tell her this. However she reacts I can manage. But hiding this thing from her, would be a nightmare. It would hurt her more if she comes to know from someone else afterwards.

"Why?" She asked very calmly to my expectation.

"I was on a business meeting. After the meeting when I was having lunch at the same restaurant. Out of no where Natalie appeared in front of me. I swear I don't know how she reached there. She tried to convince me to go back to her. She said we can be so much happy."

Her eyes turned moist, I noticed. She took a deep breath, "What did you say?"

"I said I'm married to you and I don't want to go back to her. After that she just stormed off."

"Okay."

"Just okay? Aren't you angry or something at me?" I asked raising my eyebrows.

"I'm not. If you hadn't say anything I would have been. But you said everything to me honestly. So I'm not angry."

"How do you know I said everything?"

"I saw you at the restaurant with her. Honestly, I felt hurt seeing you with her. I thought you broke your promise. And I decided to wait for you to speak. And you did speak."

"Oh god! I'm so sorry Kate. You had to see all that. I didn't want her to see me. I swear I really didn't know she would come there." I held her hands.

"I trust you Ethan."

These words, I can't describe how much happiness she has given me by saying these three words.

"And also it's not your fault. She reached out to you. But I'm glad that you didn't hide anything from me."

Kate's P.O.V

He held my hands and pulled me closer to him. My heart started beating faster. Why does it have to happen all time?

"I couldn't bear if I hadn't tell you." He whispered.

I smiled at his effort.

"But I want to do something to you know forget what happened today. What do you wanna do?" He asked me excitedly.

"Umm, how about a long drive?" I asked.

"Sounds great. I will grab the car keys."

I nod and he lets go my hand he held for so long.

Ethan's P.O.V

"So you will be going to India?" Kate asked as we drove around the city. I was telling her about my work in India.

"Yeah. Probably coming month."

"Oh." She muttered.

"Do you don't want me to go?" I asked as I sensed her unhappy tone.

"No, it isn't like that it's just that.... I- I mean my and... never mind."

"What is it Kate? Tell me."

"It's nothing important Ethan. You must me there in India."

"Kate!" I look at her warning her to tell me.

"Fine.Coming month is my dance competition. And I want you to be here with me." She said the last part softly.

I couldn't hide my smile. I liked how she wanted me with her during her important occasion.

"And why do you want me to be there? You know right I'm not your dancing partner. So tell me why do you want me?"

Her face looks flashed. She was unable to form answer. I was so loving teasing her.

"I-i just you know.. I mean you know... I just want you Ethan." She just said it.

"Uhuh. Tell me the reason Kate."

"You give me strength and confidence. And other than that, I JUST NEED YOU TO BE WITH ME. If you still don't understand then just go to hell." She shouted the last line clearly annoyed.

"Okay okay. Don't worry. I can't miss see you dance. I will be here with you. I will schedule my tour afterwards." I placed a hand on her lap.

Hearing this she beamed with joy, "Really? Thank you Ethan."

"Of course Kate." I smiled.

"By the way, be ready. Tomorrow I will you pick up from your studio. We are going on a date."

"Ohoo. I thought someone was gentleman enough to ASK me on a date. Not just announcing it." She gave me a flirty smile.

"Ahaa! Okay, okay. Well, my lady will you go on a date with me?" I extended my hand.

"Uhuh, I gladly will!" She placed her hand in mine.

"Thank you."

"Where are we going?" She asked excitedly.

"Haha. That's for me to know, and you to find out. But I think you'll like it. Because I love it."

"Please tell me, please, pretty please." She pouted.

"Pout as much you want! I'm not telling you anything right now."

"Is it the thing you like beside your work you told me about?" She raised my eyebrows.

"You guessed it right!"

"I'm genius, you know! By the way what is it that thing?" She asked casually.

"Tsk tsk. Old trick! I won't tell you now. You have to wait till tomorrow."

"I hate you, Ethan!" She huffed.

"I don't think so sweetheart." I winked.
