You sat in your bedroom of Bowser's airship. A hand on your lips while your eyebrow were furrowed. What's gotten into me? I couldn't honestly be ...

HEAVENS NO!

You shook you're head to snap yourself out of you're thoughts. However, you couldn't stop replaying that moment over in your head.

Sebastian's pov:

I held a tray with a bottle of wine and empty glass. Its unlike y/n to request wine. She never drinks... I knocked on queen y/n's door before I opened it.

I stopped in my tracks to see a rare sight to be witnessed. Y/n sat at the foot of her bed wrapped in a blanket, holding a pillow in her hands. "M-my queen! What ever is the matter?" I said and rushed to her side and placed the try on a drawer.

"Sebastian, something truly terrible has happened." She said and buried her face in her pillow. "What?" I asked nervously. She looked at me about to speak, but she stopped.

She stood up and walked over to the tray I put down and poured herself a glass of wine. I'd assumed she would have picked up the glass, but instead she started drinking straight from the bottle.

After a moment she held the bottle closer to her chest and turned around. Her cheeks were tinted pink and she wore a more relaxed expression.

"I kissed him." She said. I paused, processing her words before saying, "King Bowser?" She nodded and placed a hand to her cheek. "Sebastian, what am I going to do?" She asked.

Y/n is asking me for advice? The smartest and most cunning queen, is asking a simple servant? Above all else, about her ... feelings.

"Y/n, do you ... do you love him?" I asked surprised. "That's the thing Sebastian, I don't know. Love is so foreign to me. I don't know what it is, or how to identify it." She said and slumped to the floor.

I quickly walked over to her, "You're majesty, you must get off the floor immediately!" She sighed and ignored me. "I hate this feeling Sebastian. How do I make it go away?" She asked and turned to me. I simply chuckled and sat next to her on the floor.

"Well, it's complicated. Tell me exactly what you think of the Koopa King my Queen." I said. She huffed and spoke, "He is a brash and hasty man. I swear he has no manners and behaves inappropriately for a King..."

She looked away before saying, "Oddly enough, I do not dislike it. If anything I find that enduring about him."

"And he is incredibly sweet and considerate to me.
I'm quite delighted to rule beside a strong and authoritative man. My only hope is for the kids to accept me." She said.

I smiled, "Y/n, you really like him." She widened her eyes, "Do I?" I chuckled and said, "Well, I've noticed your behavior has been different. In my years of knowing you, you have always been level-headed and professional. You're a compassionate person,  but you tend to hide it. I've never seen you smile until lately."

She froze without saying a word, "As much as I think he's a brute. I can see clear as day he has made you happier."

She had a blush on her face, "My god. I think you're right. Is this how you felt with Adria?" I smiled and looked away. "Eh, I'm not sure if that is of interest to you my queen." I said trying to change the subject. She looked at me with pleading curiosity in her face.

I sighed and said, "Yea, I was head over heels for Adria. I adored her and hold her in high regard. She intruded my mind, and I knew that she was there to stay."

She continued to drink from the bottle of wine, before placing a hand to her temple. "Remember when you asked me to look over the vows you had written?" She asked. "Yea." I said. I asked her if I made mistakes before the day of my wedding.

She started to tear up and held the bottle closer to her chest, "It was the most enchanting thing I've ever read. I didn't understand most of what you had written, but I was in awe while reading. I never thought such a bond could form between people."

"When I think of it now, those words seem less strange." She said finally. After a few moments of silence there was a loud knock on the door.

I stood up and rushed the door and opened it some. "King Bowser!" I said. I opened the rest of the door as he walked in and saw queen y/n sitting at the foot of her bed with the bottle of wine.

"Sebastian, I'll see you tomorrow. You are free to be off for the remainder of the night." She said. I nodded and walked out the room. Best of luck, y/n.

Bowser's pov:

I looked at y/n who stood and gave me a courtesy, "My King." I gently made her face look up at mine. "We've arrived. However, it is rather late so we will do the introductions in the morning." I said. She simply nodded with a smile.

"Are you drunk?" I asked with a eyebrow raised. She again nodded with a smile. I sighed and picked her up bridal style. "What are you doing?" She asked quietly.

"I'm taking you to you're bedroom." I said and walked us out the room. She didn't respond and leaned her head against me.

"We're you serious about wanting a loving marriage." She said quietly. I looked down at her to see gorgeous e/c eyes. Her cheeks were pink from her drinking and she looked almost hopeful.

I smirked and responded, "What I said was true. I've grown a liking to you." She said nothing. She smiled with closed eyes and tears fell.

"That would mean the world to me." She said. I smiled and walked us out the airship and into the castle.

I opened the door to her room and sat her gently on her bed. "I'll have a servant help you to bed." I said about to leave. She grabbed my hand and said, "My King." I'll never grow tired of that.

"Tomorrow when I meet you're children. I want to learn more about you. You know about my past, and I would like to know about yours." She said with a more serious look.

"If you wish." I said. She smiled and looked relived. She then held my hand to her cheek and almost snuggled against it. "I've taken a liking to you too." She said.

I felt my face warm and smoke leave my nose. I leaned down and placed a gentle kiss atop her head. "I'll see you in the morning." I said and walked out the room feeling as light as air. A loving marriage.

Sorry this chapter took a while to write. I was having trouble with it for some reason. But I'm back and ready to make more for you guys.
