The three girls squealed in excitement once they saw Lady Beneviento and Angie.

"Aunt Donna! Aunt Donna!" They chanted.

They swarmed Lady Beneviento with bugs joining in. The loud buzzing and squealing made you wince and take a few steps back.

"Girls! Get ahold of yourselves! Especially in front of Donna's maid!" Lady Dimitrescu's voice boomed.

At all the sound you covered your ear while shutting your eyes tightly. Too much noise. It was overwhelming you by a landslide. You felt Lady Beneviento's soft hands grab hold of your wrists. Slowly opening your eyes, you see your lady with her head at a tilt.

She squeezed your wrists gently, telling you that it was okay.

"Angie," Lady Beneviento spoke as she turned around. "Go play with the girls. I'll call you when it's time to leave."

Angie squealed in delight as well as the daughters. This made you pull back against your lady's hold. In turn your lady wrapped you up in her arms, your head resting on her chest. Angie and the daughters went off laughing and soon the buzzing sound vanished completely.

"She's a skittish little one isn't she?" Lady Dimitrescu spoke.

"Only to loud sounds." Your lady replied.

Your lady took you to the small couch. You took a seat next to your lady while Lady Dimitrescu sat across from you. Tea was set before you on the very careful carved wooden table. Your nerves prevented you from wanting any tea.

"How have you been doing Donna?" Lady Dimitrescu asked.

"I've been... good." Lady Beneviento spoke softy. "Is this the dress?"

You looked over to the right and adjacent to your lady was a very long white dress. There was a rip from the side down.

"Yes, it is. Cassandra was tormenting a maid and somehow it got ripped." Lady Dimitrescu said with a frown.

"It shouldn't take to long to fix this." Your lady said as she pulled out a small box with needles and thread. With that, your lady got to work on fixing the dress.

You took this time to open up your satchel and got out your art and writing books. It was silent for a few minutes, enough time to get a rough sketch of Angie.

"Your maid is also as quiet as you are, Donna." Lady Dimitrescu said. "What's your name, maid?" Lady Dimitrescu asked turning to look at you.

Anxiety hit you as your blood ran cold. You picked up your writing book and started writing. As you wrote your name, Lady Dimitrescu gave you a questioning look. You held up the book in which immediately Lady Dimitrescu jumped the gun.

"Use your words."

You flinched back in fear.

"She can't speak." Your lady spoke up.

"I beg your pardon?"

"I said," your lady's voice getting louder. "She can't speak. She's mute, unable to speak. You will have to read what she writes."

The look on Lady Dimitrescu's face changed to surprised. "I guess I didn't realize that. Then again, we have only met very briefly a few times. How interesting."

With that, Lady Dimitrescu leaned forward to read what you put on the book.

My name is Y/n. It's a pleasure to meet you Lady Dimitrescu.

"It's a pleasure to meet you too, Y/n." The smile on Lady Dimitrescu's lips made you feel a bit uncomfortable.

You quickly went back to drawing. To atmosphere was very dense and the faint smell of blood lingered in the air. It made you feel sick, nauseous. Every now and then you would glance over at your lady. You would watch her work, the way her hand moved the needle.

Your sketch of Angie was solid and it was time to add the details. Occasionally, a maid would come in and give Lady Dimitrescu wine. You were offered some wine and tea, but you politely declined. Time did seem to go by as you have finished your details on Angie. You then decided to move onto the shading.

"Donna? Would you like to take a tea break?" Lady Dimitrescu asked.

You lifted your head up to see your lady nod slightly. She stood straight up with a few cracks hear and there. Your lady took a seat next to you before offering a cup of tea to you. You hesitated but put your stuff down and took the cup with a nod.

You brought the cup to your lips, taking a small sip. The taste of green tea with a hint of mint spread through out your mouth.

"Donna," Lady Dimitrescu spoke. "Are you going to bring your maid to the next meeting?"

You nearly chocked on your tea. Your lady immediately had her hands on your back. You recovered and a sigh left your lady's lips.

"That depends on if she wishes to come." Your lady replied.

"Oh?" Lady Dimitrescu said surprised. "You give her a choice?"

You were starting to get uncomfortable with how this conversation was going. The stories that you heard about Lady Dimitrescu and how she treats her maids flooded your mind.

"Yes, I give her a choice. She has earned my trust." Your lady said coldly.

Your eyes were glued on Lady Dimitrescu as she smirks. "Is there something more than her being your maid, Donna? I can tell that you haven't marked her yet."

You felt your lady squeeze your hand. She was clearly getting upset. "No, there is nothing between us." Your lady spoke. "And just because I haven't marked her, doesn't mean you can try and take her from me or persuade her."

You observed the look on Lady Dimitrescu's face and it seems like she took that as a challenge. "Do you want to play that game, Donna? Because you should know that I always win." The tension in the room was high. It was almost suffocating.

"I'm not playing any game. I'm telling you." Your lady growled. You felt your heart start to beat faster. Your hands felt sweaty as your anxiety started to climb. The smirk left Lady Dimitrescu's face and was replaced with a glare.

A scream from hell made you jump and latch onto your lady. She instantly wrapped her arms around you and protected you from the swarming bugs. Lady Dimitrescu snapped her head over to the door way as a maid covered in blood came in sliding.

Upon seeing the sight, you couldn't hold it in. With your anxiety at its peak and the sight of a half dead person crying, you slapped your hand over your mouth and tore away from your lady. You leaned over the couch and vomited your guts out.
