3RD PERSON'S POV

Night Walker was the alli of the Shadow pack. The alpha's of each pack are used to be friend. Mikael and Gabriel was just 7 years old when the Shadow pack got burned by their enemy.

The guards and some other people of the Night Walker pack volunteer to help them. And the soon to be Alpha and Beta helped too.

They are was about to walked out of the place because the pack's palace and the other house are now burned to ashes. And only the walls and made of sement floors left. But they heard someone sobbing.

"You two, what are you still doing there? Let's go," Mikael's Dad was about to hold both of their hands but they hide it to their back. "Mikael," his dad said sternly.

"Just go first Dad. We need to go somewhere,"

The two ran and they heard his Dad, shouting their names. Telling them to go back because they are going back to their pack. But because of the two stubborn son of the former alpha and the beta, it took some quiet time before they went back.

The two are following the sob coming from they think was a boy. Mikael was on the front while Gabriel was just on his back, not letting his guard down.

Suddenly, Mikael stop. Gabriel immediately think that their is an enemy but what Mikael said make him spanked the boy's head.

"Fuck! Just do it! No need to tell me you want to pee!," Gabriel made a disgust face and Mikael just laughed to annoy him.

But he still didn't leave his eyes on Mikael until the boy find a place where he can pee. Gab is a type of boy who is patience was thin.

So to distract his self, he roamed his eyes to the burned territory of the Shadow pack. Suddenly he heard the boy sobbing again. Thinking that it would be just on time that Mikael will finished his business, he started to find the boy.

Just a five steps from his place earlier, he found the boy that they heard crying. The boys shirt has holes and the sleeves was ripped. It is dirty too, so as the boy. But that doesn't stop Gabriel to approach the boy.

He kneed with his other knees and try to see the boy's face. He slowly lifted his hands at it makes its way to touch the boy. But when it was about to touch the boys skin when he flinched away.

"No! Go away! Go away!," The boy suddenly shouted.

"Fuck! You found him!," He heard Mikael exclaimed. He just tsked.

Mikael kneed with his other knees beside him and he tried to approach the boy, but the boy get a rock and suddenly throw it on Mikael.

Mikael got mad that he was about to punch the boy. He forgot the boy was crying and is now on a poor situation. But Gabriel stop him.

"Don't you dare hurt him. That is not good," Gabriel said sternly and scoot a little closer to boy. The boy is murmuring words such as 'go away' and 'stop' but he didn't follow any of those. He knew the boy needs help because at their age, they already learned how to be good and do good to others.

"It's okay, it's okay," he keeps saying to the boy. "You will be fine."

The boy is now stopped crying but he is a little tremble. Gabriel assumed maybe because of crying and fear. He slowly put his hand on the boy's shoulder. The boy shuddered a little because of the sudden skin contact but didn't make any move to get his hands away.

Gabriel take that as a chance to talk to the boy. Getting his name would be enough for him. Ofcourse the boy will stay at their pack. But he never know when he will see him again. He and Mikael are busy for the training and learning some things and stuffs related to their soon to be position.

"Can you tell me your name?," I asked him softly.

The boy slowly looked at him. He can clearly see the boys red eyes and puffed cheeks. He don't know why but in an instinct his hands made its way to wipe the tears on the boys cheeks.

The boys cheeks suddenly feels warm and it's a little red. Thinking that the boy might having a fever he put the back of his hands to the boys forehead and his othet hands was on his forehead too. Comparing their temperature.

Damien on the other hand just look at the boy who is currently frowning like he is thinking deeply. He just stared at the boy's feature. He finds him handsome, brave and cute. And that just makes him blush more.

He look at the other boy and he is currently crossing his arms while looking at the boy infront of him with amusement. Suddenly he looked at him and Damien immediately avoided his gaze.

The boy infront of him withdraws his hands on his forehead. "You're temperature is just fine. But why are you so..red?," The boy looks confused but a little worried. He can clearly hear it in the boy's voice. That is how confident he is.

"I-Im fine," he tried to said in a small voice.

A small smile appeared on the boys lips and he suddenly stood up and he suddenly offered his hands on him. He is still hesitating but he accepted the boys hand and he suddenly guided him gently to stood up.He looked at the boy behind the one who is infront of him, when he heard him snorted playfully.

The boy infront of him turned at him. "What's with the snort, Mikael?," He can see the boy's brows raised.

The boy named Mikael shook his head while now smirking. "No! Nothing!," The boy defended while motioning his hands like he is shooing mosquitoes.

The boy infront of him just nod and is now looking at him with warm eyes. "Now, Can i get your name?," The boy asked again. Hopefully he would answer him this time.

"D-Damien," he answered shyly.

"Oh, So Damien is your name. What a great name to know," Mikael went closer to the boy infront of him who he still doesn't know the name. Mikael swung an arm on the boy's shoulder. "Am i right, Gabriel?," He really imphasized the boys name.

Damien just secretly smiled inside him. He finally know the boys name. "Tsk! Shut up!," Gabriel get Mikaels hands off and he then looked at him with a smile.

"Let's go, let's leave this annoying man here," Gabriel glance sideways at Mikael. Damien just smiled a little and nod.

Still holding hands, the two happily walked out of the packs gate while Mikael is like a thirdwheel to the two. I must find my mate. The sooner the better.

When they reached outside the pack, Gabriel saw his and Mikael's Dad waiting at them. The guards and the other poeples are not here anymore and he assumes that they are now on there pack.

They stopped and Damien was confused in the past 10 seconds but when he followed where the two was looking at, he suddenly felt nervous. He is really not good at socializing to other people and he has no friends at all. So when the two approached him earlier, he felt surprised because no one dared to do that to him before. Because his father is distancing him to others and sometimes he just locked him to his room and he actually don't know why.

"Shit, we're really dead," Mikael said in fear. The two man's looked at their direction. They eyed him for a couple of seconds and their eyes are warm too. Then their eyes was now void of emotions when they settled their eyes to the two.

He looked at the two and he saw them gulped hard. When the two man was now standing infront of them, he suddenly hide to Gabriel's back.

He felt Gabriel stunned because of his sudden action but he doesn't mind it. "Are you okay?," Mikael asked him. He just looked at him and nod.

"Boy, you don't need to be scared. We won't hurt you," The man who looks like Gabriel assures him and the man suddenly flashed a bright smile and so as the man beside him who looks like Mikael.

"It's fine Ien, they wont hurt you. That is my father," Gabriel pointed the man who looks like him. "and that is Mikael's father. They are good. Just like us," Gabriel said proudly while still glancing on him.

He suddenly felt relaxed and slowly showing out from Gabriel's back. He settled himself beside him and his heart suddenly beat erratic when the Gabriel suddenly touches his hand again.

The two mans infront of them noticed it and they are fine with it. It seems like a friendly gesture to them so they just let it.

"Now, let's go. Don't you two dare walked away again." Mikael's father pointed Gabriel and his own son.

They eyes him again. "What's your name little boy?,"

"His name is Damien," Gabriel suddenly answered. He instantly looked at Gabriel.

"Then why did you call him Ien?," Gabriel's dad asked.

"That'sy nickname to him, Dad." Gabriel answered right away. He suddenly feels so special because of it. He never experienced someone calling him by their given nickname to him because no one wants to be friends with him.

"Oh, okay." Gabriel's Dad shrugged. "Now, let's go back to the pack. And Ien— i mean Damien," Gabriel's father took it back right away and when he look at Gabriel, he is glaring a little at his dad and he doesn't know why. "dont need to look at me like that kiddo." The man messed Gabriel's hair and looked at him again. "Make yourself at home okay? Make our pack as your own pack too. Because some of your pack members will do the same too,"

He just nod with a small genuine smile on his lips. Gabriel and him looked at each other for a couple of seconds. "And from now on, you can call me when you need me. I will be their for you," Gabriel smiled genuinely and he just answered it with a soft smile before setting their eyes on the road.
