Nathaniel's POV

My grip on the steering wheel tightened whenever I remembered what happened. Daisy got missing because Belinda forced me to make out with her.

I'm so irresponsible. And Pamela, who I've hurt so much, went ahead still helped me. I then pulled up in front of school and went inside.

Another shitty day I guess.

Thankfully, Belinda didn't approach me and I met up with Angelo.

"Yo dude, coach says it's a meeting time...ain't you ready for the games?" Angelo asked and I groaned.

There was this big game that was coming up. Since then, the coach has been hard on us. He treats us like children. I mean, every game period, we always win so what's the constant meeting for?

When I and him were making our way there, I saw Pamela and Nolan..hugging. The pain was just too much and I looked elsewhere.

Pamela'sPOV

"You're one in a million, just like my sister.." Nolan said almost in tears as we pulled away. Nolan's little sister died of blood cancer and that must have really hurt. Poor Nolan.

"It's ok." I gave him an assuring grin and straightened my glasses.

"I'm also glad I have an additional brother." I admitted.

"You have another brother?" He asked.

"Yep...he's Eugene."

"Wow." He said."OK then I've got a practice meeting catch up with you later." He said and left. I walked to my locker, brought out my history homework which took me the entire week to finish.

When I was about to put it neatly in the file, someone..Belinda to be precise, snatched it.

"Well, well, well, the nerdy bitches' shitty homework...must have gone through hell to get it done." She sneered. When I tried to take it, she raised it up more.

I am a nerd, what do you expect?

"Uh buh buh buh, not so fast yet..I haven't done any harm." She said. Before I could bat an eye, she shredded the paper up.

She destroyed my homework.

"My homework!" I gasped and knelt beside the pieces of paper.

"Oh no, nerds' homework got ruined." She taunted and grabbed the ball side of my bun and pulled me to my feet.

Uhh madam, you could have just said get up.

"Stop getting between me and Nathaniel...why do you always want to destroy our relationship?" She gritted with venom. I hissed in pain about how hard she was pulling my head.

"Belinda!" Nathaniel yelled and came close to us and she let go of my head."Calm down." He said she sighed.

"It's not my fault babe, this bitch here won't let me rest."

I won't let her rest? She is the one who won't leave me alone! Ugh!

Nathaniel glared at me and started kissing her. Not wanting to witness this, I gathered myself and moved away to meet my doom.

"So where were you before you encountered Belinda?" Angela asked.

"I was with Nolan." I answered.

"Oh.." she muttered and I wondered if she rolled her eyes or it was an imagination.

"Don't worry about Belinda, she's just scared that you might steal Nathaniel from her. " she explained.

"She is?" I asked.

"Duhh, she has to force the guy to even look at her, and sadly, he's always looking at you." She sighed.

"I see," I murmured.

After fixing my bun for the second time today, I made my way to where I was supposed to be, The ICT lab.

Belinda poured chocolate mousse over my head after lunch so I had to wash my hair of it and find ways and means for it to dry. I entered the lab and the teacher was teaching.

"You're late, Miss Lucas,..go sit with Miss Sanders."He instructed.

Okay Sir, thanks for making my day much better than it already was.

So I went and sat beside Belinda who groaned, scowled and fixed her blonde hair.

"OK class today we're learning E-mail." He announced and I turned to face him. My eyes were fixated on him so I didn't know what was going on around so for about five minutes later,

"Sir please Pamela was not paying attention, she was busy going through the Internet. " Belinda lied and the teacher snapped his head at my direction.

"Sir, look at her screen." She added. I stared at the monitor before me and saw that she had changed the screen to pinterest. So to summarise, she sabotaged me. The teacher glared at me and took large steps towards me.

"Miss Lucas I expected better."

"Sir..I..I.." I stuttered unsure of what how to defend myself.

"You what? I'm taking my times to explain the work to you and you're busily doing something else...do you respect at all?" He asked highly disappointed.

"Sir..I..I.."

"Miss Lucas, Detention!..now!" He ordered. I've never been in detention before and there I was..to have an experience.

The smirk on Belinda was getting wider and wider and the teacher didn't see it. I got up and left the place wondering exactly what I did to Belinda.

She should have known that there was no way I and Nathaniel will ever like each other. I wiped my tears and made my way to way to my second doom.

"She's a bitch." Mackenna countered, folded her arms and leaned on my car. I had been released from detention after spending numerous hours there.

My two good friends stayed behind for me."Tell me about it." Angela sighed.

"Girl you need to fire up!" Mackenna suggested."You're too timid."

She was right, but that's just how I am, I don't know why, even my Mom says so. She used to tell me I looked like Merida in Brave.

"Hmm, let it be guys..she'll get what she deserves one day." I said and they nodded in agreement. I hopped into my car and drove home.

When I reached home, I plastered false gaiety on my face and entered.

"Hey." I greeted Eugene and he dragged me to the kitchen and stuffed a cup cake into my mouth.

"Eugene!" I growled but I couldn't be heard since the delicious cupcake savoured in my mouth.

"Very nice." I praised. "But why did you let me taste it?" I asked.

"Because I want Stella to love it." He gushed.

"Well, she will." I assured and got up to go to my room.I took my last shower, wore my Pj's and laid on my bed .

Mackenna and Angela had sent me a message so I had to reply and after I replied it, I sighed and laid on my bed in thought.

Well everynight I lay on my bed in thought so this was no news. Belinda had framed me, for what I didn't do.

This shouldn't be a surprise but what did I do to her?..If she was us to exchange places I gladly will.

Then, she'll realise that things don't go on as she thinks..if you don't see my tears, it doesn't mean I do not cry.

The exams were finally here. Students, were typically gathered in groups making discussions and moving off topic most of the time. While most of them were cramming, I was revising and helping those who came to me for help.

Nino too took the opportunity to show off when I came to him for help.

"Don't wear your self out, this exam was made for me to pass,"  he'd say and I'd roll my eyes.

After some checks we were allowed into the examination hall. The  tables were spaced out and we could sit anywhere we wanted. I sat in the middle part of the class and Mackenna, Angela and I exchanged a thumbs up.

The invigilator, Miss Pons, came im with a bundle if sheets. She shared it amongst all of us and and prompted us to start work. Immediately I flipped the question paper, I blocked out everyone's presence. When exams are in progress, I ignore everyone's presence because I feel concentration is more important.

The question were easy, no doubt but I took my time and laid down the answers carefully. There was just a particular question that nearly tricked me. If it weren't for the little thinking I did.

Okay so I knew I said everyone was blocked out but i could feel someone staring at me..for way too long. When I had about three more questions to answer, I titled my head and loooked through the corner and spotted Nathaniel, shamelessly staring.

I just ignored him, despite the blushing and carried on with what was important.

I didn't say a word during lunch while Mackenna and Angela were talking about the exam. Because that was the most dangerous thing, in my view.

"How about you Pam? Won't you tell us how yours went?" Angela asked.

"Oh, it was okay." I simply said.

"Just okay?" Mackenna asked.

"Guys, I don't think we're supposed to discuss about it,"   I spoke.

"Why not?" She asked.

"I think it's not advisable because you can easily feel discouraged, that is if a question didn't go well for you." I explained.

"OH," Angela murmured.
