Andie held onto Benjamin as they raced to the woods, she had forgotten all about the threat of a rainbow, all she could think about was that Catarina saw her. She wiped her tears away, smiling quietly behind Benjamin. The Raindrop fell away. It had stopped raining. She would wait with hope. 

''So whats is gonna happen if it rains and it the sun is out?'' Asked Raymond trying to follow behind the amazingly fast pace of Jimmy lighting as they entered the woods.

''Maybe nothing, maybe problems, cant tell, we are clear though, just stay down if a rainbow lands anywhere near us, got it? Understand there fancy boys? He said sarcastically to them.

''Another asshole, whatever lightning, just do what you got paid for, help us find my friend.'' Said Davis.

''We gonna head to the Dunwik village, there to the south, there is a village there. That is the last stop before the Pendana. Maybe someone saw your friend, and she would be traveling with one of the two nuts, everyone knows them, believe me if they are here we will find out. Let me do the talking, whatever they say may not come across right, not at first, you have to acquire ears here.'' Advised Lightning. 

''I am all kinds of hungry, really should have taken a few donuts with us.'' Said Raymond.

''There is a large market there, you can get anything you want. That cash you took from the other world, is pretty valuable here, especially to traders. They go back and forth like I do.'' Said Lightning.

''Back and forth like rockin and rollin or back and forth? Or back and forth between worlds? Laughed Davis. 

''Another Asshole, whatever Davis. I am just doing what I am paid for.'' Lighting fired back.

''How much farther do we have to go? I need to use the can.'' Said Raymond.

''Go piss on a tree like the rest of us do.'' Answered Lightning.

''What If I gotta go number two?'' He said embarrassed.

''Number two? What the hell kinda thing is that?'' Asked Lighting, staggering and stumbling back to look at Raymond.

''He gotta go pooh, crapola, take a dumpling. Does that sound familiar to you?" Asked Davis.

''Oh justerfor cripe.'' Answered Lightning.''Yeah they got a can up there, but you gotta pay for the use of it. I could use it too, on you two guys by the way, you can pay for me." He said.

''We gotta pay for you to do your business? Whatever, we don't mind.'' Answered Davis.

''It ain't too far see up there, once the rain stops we can move out of the forest.'' He said and pointed to the village. 

The trees waved with the wind, tiny raindrops fell over them, landing in the trees, hanging onto the leaves, through them Catarina caught Davis and Raymond trailing behind Lighting. 

''Oh good god, how the hell did the three of them end up here?" She said aloud to herself. She watched Andie ride with Benjamin, seeing her looking back. She watched Davis and Raymond following lighting, and then caught sight of the staggering movements of Marcus trailing behind Lucas. "All this nonsense, how the hell did they cross over without you Lucas!" She stood up gripping her robe, angry. Not only was Andie here but she was separated. Andie was in between them. Davis up ahead, and Lucas behind her.

One way or another they would eventually run into each other she hoped. She would send her guards off immediately, though they could not reach Andie before she reached the Pendana. With Davis ahead of her, she could only hope they would run into each other, and that the trader, Lightning knew better than to walk the humans into vampire territory. Unescorted by another vampire. This would surely mean the end of them. She could only watch, there was nothing more she could do....unless...'

We are too far South, the chances of them being behind us are next to nothing, what luck. Thought Lucas in his head. What dumb fucking luck he cursed. 

" We have company, in the wind, watch the raindrops." Marcus told Lucas.

 Lucas looked and saw the eyes, it was Catarina, and she was pissed.

''I am sorry." He said to the raindrops that circled him. "I have failed. They escaped and Benjamin took Andie. Davis managed to slip into Heidorn, with the aid if Lightning. I am sorry majesty. I am beside myself with grief and fear for Andie. I will find her, I promise. On my life, on my brothers life'' He said.

''Wait just one second!'' Interrupted Marcus.''My life has nothing to do with this mess you are in, that's his mistake not mine!'' He said to the peering angry eyes.

Lucas pushed him out of sight and stood before the queen. ''I will get her back. I will Catarina. I love her.'' Lucas promised.

There was no doubt in her mind he meant what he said, this was Lucas Barrington. The mighty warrior and knight of the Queen. He had never failed her. Love has seemed to tame him, bring him to his knees. Unacceptable. Not the knight she knew, she would change that. She had something that he needed, his sword, armor, and his Horse. With her magic she could send them to him. She had nothing that belonged to the others, nothing to send them. With deafening rumbles of roaring thunder and a strike of blinding lighting, she gave it to him. He was once again, as he was. A  fierce warrior. Adorned in his armor, sword in hand. He sat atop his flaming red mare.
