"What are these two doing?", Mrs Kim panicked.

"Honey let them be. They are young", Mr Kim pulled her wife by his side.

"I know but still we have so much work to do and we have only five hours left before their engagement ceremony starts", Mrs Kim reasoned.

"Let check up on them. C'mon", Mrs Jeon pulled Mrs Kim and they went upstairs to the younger's room.

"Taehyung.. Jungkook we are coming in", Mrs Jeon announced after knocking the door thrice. The moment both women entered inside the room, they were surprised to see both latter working on their laptops. Mr Jeon and Mr Kim joined right after them and they were surprised like their wives too because somehow they were expecting them to be goofing around not actually working—

"Woah I wasn't expecting that", Mr Kim said his thoughts out loud. Taehyung and Jungkook looked up and greeted their parents and once again they started working again.

"Sorry to burst your bubble, but you have to be down in 5 hours for your engagement and you both still haven't moved. Since when you both become this workaholic. Hmm", Mr Jeon teased.

"We have a reservation for later at night", Jungkook finally answered.

"WHHHAAATTTTT??", Their parents said loudly.

"This whole party and ceremony is arranged for you two and you are saying you both have some other plans?", Mrs Kim questioned, not believing her ears.

"Mom we will attend the ceremony and we will stay here till midnight but after that we will leave for two days trip and for  that we have to complete this now. Otherwise we have to work tomorrow and we don't want to do that", Taehyung answered.

"Aishh these smartass kids", Mr Kim sighed.

"Very well then, since you both have already settled everything down. Let us remind you that you both should come down fully dressed at 8p.m. So finish this before that", Mr Jeon reminded. With that their parents left both of them again and once again, both latter dug their heads in laptop.

"I can't believe these bitches are getting engaged before us", Jin sulked.

"Babe we are about to get marry soon. So don't make that face", Namjoon kissed his boyfriend cheek.

"Kids are getting engaged while the people who should actually get engaged are attending their engagement. How unfair", Jackson sighed.

"Yeah old man you better get married soon because in few years you have to give Mark dildo because the one down their will become useless", Jinyoung smirked.

"Why you bitch", Jackson growled and they all burst into laughter. Their laughter died when Mr Kim and Mr Jeon appeared on stage with their wives.

"Good evening Ladies and Gentlemen. Today we all are gathered here to celebrate the engagement ceremony of our son", Mr Kim said proudly.

"And we are so thankful to all of you who joined us today and gave their love and blessings to these young lovers", Mr Jeon smiled.

"I now introduce you to the stars of tonight. Kim Taehyung and Jeon Jungkook".

Everybody applaud and from the staircase came Taehyung and Jungkook hand in hand, with a smile too wide that melted the hearts of everyone in the room. Then they both joined their parents and soon their ceremony began.

The moment they both put ring on each other fingers, the crowd cheered loudly. They both smiled and Taehyung kissed younger's cheek, making him blush. After the ring ceremony, they joined their friends.

"I see expensive bitches", Jinyoung teased.

Taehyung rolled his eyes, "You can't congratulate normally. Can you?", He huffed.

"Naa. Normal is too plain for me. Not my style", he winked. They all smiled and hugged the newly engaged couple, giving their blessings to them.

"O c'mon save these for when we get married", Taehyung said.

"Bitch you got engaged. Now wait a little until one of us get married", Jimin ordered.

"Nooo. Why would I wait. I wanted to get married as soon as possible", Taehyung retort.

"What difference would that make? You both already live together", Jin interjected.

"Yeah but he is still Jeon Jungkook and I want him to be Kim Jungkook", he kissed Jungkook's cheek again, making him blush. All the boys made "Ooo" sound and Jungkook nudge his elbow, making Taehyung to fake pout.  They tease and laugh, reminiscing old times. Soon Taehyung's mother called them both and they excused.

"We will catch up with you all later", Jungkook said before leaving.

The moment they gone from their sight, Jin smirked, "I doubt that".

"What?", Hoseok questioned.

"He meant that they won't be coming back again to join us", Jimin showed mischievous smile.

"No. They will come", Youngjae said.

"Let's just make a bet then. Those who thinks they will come back, raise your hands and those who thinks they won't, just stay still", Jimin said.

Jackson, Hoseok, Youngjae raised their hands while rest didn't responded. "Wait you all think they won't come back?", Hoseok asked in surprise.

"Hoseokie tell me how many times they ever joined us back when we were in uni?", Jin questioned.

"Never", he muttered.

"That's what they were trying to tell you earlier", Yoongi drawled.

"Now give me 50$ each of you", Jimin smug.

The three latter pouted but handed him the money. Soon they joined buffet and just as they predicted, both latter excused their parents and left the scene after 11. Taehyung and Jungkook removed their ties, releasing their necks with that tight grip. Then they both threw the blazers in the back and folded their sleeves,

"So Babe, are you ready?", Taehyung smirked, starting the engine. Jungkook rolled his eyes but smiled. And their little adventurous two days trip started.....

"Sir you were right. The guy with Taehyung is Jeon Jungkook. What should we do now?", The driver asked following the car.

"Just follow them as for now. Did you do as I asked you to?", the Man from the phone asked.

"Yes Sir", he answered.

"Good".

"O Man not now", Taehyung whined.

"What happened?", Jungkook asked.

"We have to stop on nearby petrol station. I swore it was full till evening", Taehyung sighed.

"It's okay. Let's just do it quick. I'm already sleepy", Jungkook yawned.

"You ain't getting any sleep anytime soon sweetheart", Taehyung smirked. Once again younger's cheeks blazed red and he tried to avoid eye contact with his handsome sexy fiance. Taehyung laughed and kiss his cheek yet again. After ten minutes of drive, they stopped at the nearby petrol station. Taehyung phone rang and when he saw the caller ID, it was his father.

He picked the call, "Hello Dad—"

"Taehyung come back with Jungkook this instant. You *unclear voice*

"What? Dad I can't hear you", Taehyung replied.

"Go somewhere else idiot. I'll fill the petrol for us", Jungkook said.

Taehyung got out of car and so did Jungkook. Taehyung moved farther away from the petrol station in search of signals. After stopping near a cafe he talked again.

Jungkook was filling the tank when a mysterious man in suits showed up. Without paying attention to him, he did what he was doing. Then that man spoke, "Are you Jeon Jungkook?"

Jungkook stopped and looked at him, "Yeah that's me. Do I know you?", He gave a civilized smile.

"You might forgot me but I still remember you", the said Man answered.

"Oh I'm sorry but if you remind you when we met before then I might remember you", he said politely.

That man smirked, "Hmm I'm the same man who once tried to kidnap you but that time you were lucky enough to escape. But this time, nobody will come to your rescue".

His smile immediately wiped away from his lips when he remember that childhood incident and the blurry face of the man who pulled a trigger on him when he was out with his guard.

"You—

"Yeah me", he smirked again.

"What do you want from me?—

"Aiisshhh...I hate these same old dialogues. Please come up with something new. Well since you spoiled my mood. I'll answer right away. Tonight is your last night on earth boy as I'm about to send you above", he said in a warning tone. He pulled out the gun and pointed at his direction.

Jungkook hissed, "why are you doing this? What beef do you have with me. I don't even know you"

"What beef I have with you, you ask huhh", the man growled, making younger flinched. "Because of you and your pathetic father, I lost my cousin. Because of your father my cousin denied to start a business with me because your fucking father never left his side", he fumed in anger.

"And now after killing you, I can finally get my revenge because because of you I spent 15 years in jail. Say goodbye bitch", with that saying he pulled the trigger. Before Jungkook could move from his place, Taehyung's voice echoed as he ran towards Jungkook. In the next moment a loud voice echoed. Soon the floor colored with red and when Jungkook opened his eyes again, he screamed,

"TAEHYUNG!!!! No babe no no. Taehyung answer me", Jungkook touched him with his shakey hands.

Before that man could run away, police ambushed him and behind them were their parents. They came running towards them and when Mr Kim and Mrs Kim saw their son laying their like a lifeless body with blood covered on his engagement suit and floor, they froze. Mr Kim had wide eyes while Mrs Kim scream and fainted there. They took him in ambulance, Jungkook was holding Taehyung's hands all the while, calling out his name.

They immediately admitted Taehyung in ICU and everybody waited outside. After half an hour, all their friends came running when the saw the news on TV. Jungkook was a crying mess. He couldn't believe what just happened. He was hoping and praying that it turned out as a nightmare, a bad dream or anything but reality.

They just reunited after a long time and they just got engaged today and this happened. Just why he always has to go through trials? Why he is always tested from time to time?? All his friends were trying to console him, whispering sweet nothings. Assuring him that everything will be alright. That Taehyung is stronger than this. That he will make it through, when police came.

"Mr Kim we have arrested your cousin, Lee Minho and as for now, he is in our custody. The court will announce their decision tomorrow".

"Hang him", Mrs Kim shouted.

Mr Kim hugged her tightly and gestured the police. They bowed and went away. Mr Jeon patted on Mr Kim's shoulder lightly.

"I never knew that he will come back again. I should have keep an eye on him. It's my fault", Mr Kim choked.

"No Dojin, it's not your fault. I'm surprised that he still hold the grudge against me. He didn't came to kill Taehyung. He came after Jungkook. Your son took a bullet for him", Mr Jeon said in a painful voice. All of their heads were low while sadness was painted on their faces.

They all silently prayed for Taehyung's fastest recovery. While on the other side, the whole media blew up with the news of the fatal attack on the newly engaged couple, the youngest CEOs of the Korea's biggest multinational company. The news spread like wildfire. Every news, every article, every site was filled with this news.

When the doctor came out from the room, they immediately surrounded him, "Doctor is my son alright? Did he wake up?", Mrs Kim questioned.

"Ma'am we are doing our best. He loose a lot of blood and his vital organs got damaged. We need O+ blood. He is still unconscious. Mr Kim please arrange blood faster", with that saying he got inside the room again. Mr Kim and Mr Jeon immediately went on the other side while Jungkook stroll outside the room.

A week passed and Bogum and Lisa dealt all the matter in the absence of Jungkook and Taehyung. Meanwhile Jungkook stayed in the hospital while their parents visited and stayed till night. All his hyungs visit too from time to time and Jin send food for Jungkook. He was sitting besides Taehyung, just like usual talking to him, holding his hand and crying when he felt older groaning.

He looked up and saw Taehyung moving a little on his own. He immediately called out the doctor. They immediately came and send Jungkook out of the room. They checked up on him while he waited outside. Soon their parents joined him too.

"D-did he moved?", Mrs Kim cried and Jungkook nodded. His own cheeks stained with tears. After half an hour the doctor told them that they could meet him. When they entered inside the room, Taehyung was sitting, holding a glass of juice. His parents immediately hugged him and he groaned in pain.

Jungkook slowly moved forward, lips trembling and vocal cords not helping. It was like he forgot how to speak. After what felt like years he whispered, "T-tae" but the next word that came out from older's mouth, shattered his whole world,

"Who are you?"
