"So what was that exchanging number incident?", Mr. Jeon asked, taking a bite of his steak.

Taehyung and Jungkook informed their fathers about the meeting and of course the number exchanging thing. Their parents were waiting for them to come back so that they could hear the details.

"Actually when he arrived, he eyed us head to toe. Then he sat right next to me and was apologizing that if he knew that we were waiting for him then he would have come sooner. Then we discussed about the meeting and afterwards he asked me about my number. I wanted to say no but I couldn't because I was afraid that it might ruin our dealing. He even said to arrange the next meeting on the first week of January", Taehyung said, rolling the pasta around his fork.

"Kim I'm hearing wedding bells", Mr. Jeon teased, then they both laugh. Taehyung didn't like that idea though.

"But I'm not interested in him", Taehyung immediately responded.

"You know Kris isn't kind of a guy to make such a move. Am I right Kim?" And Mr Kim nodded. "He already had so many models and business men around him who are ready for him to become his partner but he never responded them and in your case, he even took your number. It's a big deal. Did he texted you after that day?", Mr Jeon asked curiously.

"Ohh.. Y-yeah he send a message everyday", he said scratching the side of his neck in embarrassment. Mr Jeon chuckled.

"Your son is shaking the business industry already Kim", Mr Jeon snickered.

"He got my looks. Of course he is going to capture hearts", Mr Kim said proudly.

"My babe bear got my looks not yours", Mrs Kim sassed, making everybody laugh on the table. They chitchat every now and then, in-between their dinner and after an hour, Taehyung excused his parents and bowed down Mr and Mrs Jeon, to leave for his friend's house.

Mr and Mrs Jeon were disappointed that their son didn't showed up in their first ever family dinner when he already knows what kind of a relationship he has with Mr and Mrs Kim.

Taehyung started the engine of his car and turned his car in left direction, to meet his best friend. On the other side, Jungkook was driving in full speed. Taehyung was on the other side of road when Jungkook cross passed him.

He parked his car outside the Kim's residency and tidy his suit to remove any crease. He settled his tie and made his way in. When he came inside, he saw his parents and Taehyung's parents laughing and teasing. The moment his father's eyes landed on him, his smile vanished while Mr and Mrs Kim's eyes lit up.

They welcomed him and he apologized for being late. Mrs Kim ordered the maid to bring the fresh food for Jungkook and after 5 minutes, the table was decorated with delicious dishes again. He thanked for the food and took the steak.

"So how was your experience in France Jungkookiiee?", Mr Kim asked. The moment he said the word experience, he remembered the night he and Taehyung shared but before he could think about that day in more detail, Mr Jeon broke his reverie, "Son Dojin is asking something".

Jungkook apologized again, "I-it was quite new. I mean that experience really helped me a lot. My perception changed quite a lot and meeting that Kris guy was quite a good opportunity. That guy was well experienced and his way of dealing, impressed me quite a lot", Jungkook answered, making Mr and Mrs Kim smile.

His parents were happy finally to hear something about that experience. "So do you come up with any strategy? Taehyung said he sat a meeting in January", Mr Kim said.

"Actually yes but I need to discuss the details with Taehyung first since we both are trying to solve everything together, one at a time. Instead of separating task. We will split work in future though but for now, we will work with the strategy we planned", Jungkook answered confidently, making his parents feel proud and Taehyung's parents to admire him even more.

Jungkook wanted to ask about Taehyung but he couldn't since he is the late comer here. He ate his dinner while answering his and Taehyung's parents and then he heard the embarrassing stories of their parents working life. They bid goodbyes when the clock struck 12 and went to their house direction, thanking them for tonight's dinner and arrangements.

On the other hand, Taehyung was on his best friend's house. His head was resting on his lap while older was softly brushing his hair with his fingers.

"So he didn't came?", Jimin asked.

"No he didn't. Well I'm not disappointed this time because I knew he wouldn't come", Taehyung said.

Jimin hummed then Taehyung continued, "I'm thinking about letting him go".

Jimin's eyes widened hearing his confession. "What??", He questioned surprised. "You what??"

"I mean I'm thinking about not to burst his bubble. I'll maintain a safe distance from him so that my presence don't bother him", Taehyung said, sitting on the couch.

"And from where that sudden change came? Last time I checked, you were so into making him yours. What happened to that? Or was it because of that hickey incident?", Jimin questioned.

He wanted to know what made his best friend to change his mind. He desperately wanted to tell him that it was Jungkook he made out and that hickey was actually his doing but he can't betray younger like that when younger himself isn't sure about his feelings.

"I love him. I still do and till the day I'm breathing, I will still love him. Nobody could take his place in my heart. He is special. He is the wizard that have taken my heart and I'm loyal to him now but there is this feeling, whenever he is around me, he gets uncomfortable. It breaks my heart to see that because of me he couldn't concentrate. I'm affecting his working efficiency and I don't want that. Hearing Mr Kim from his mouth everyday hurts a lot", Taehyung mumbled.

"I still didn't get the answer to my question. You just made a confession which I didn't ask for hoe", Jimin tried to change the sappy environment.

"My mom said to set him free and let him feel my love. You can say I'm gambling big time", Taehyung gave a half-hearted smile.

Jimin hugged him tightly. "I'm proud of you Tae and just so you know, you've sprouted your love seed in his heart already".

Taehyung broke the hug and looked at him surprised, "D-did he said something to you?", Taehyung asked curiously. He mentally facepalmed himself and tried to make a story or excuse that will cover his blunder.

"I mean he was once in love with you. You had his heart once, you can do it again. I'm rooting for you", Jimin said, cheering him up. He sighed but nodded.

Yoongi brought hot chocolate milk for both of them and sat in front of them. "So what are you evil heads plotting this time?", He teased.

"I'm not Evil Hyung. I'm super cute and soft", Jimin said in pouty lips, making Yoongi smile.

"Don't fall in trap Hyung. He is doing this on purpose. He indeed is Evil", Taehyung mocked.

"Who's side are you hoe?", Jimin said, rolling his eyes. Making both of them laugh. For awhile Taehyung forgot all his worries. They drank and talked and after an hour he left for his house.

The moment Taehyung came home, he met Jungkook and his parents in the hallway.

"Honey you came back early?", Mrs Kim asked. Both Taehyung and Jungkook was staring at each other. Taehyung broke the eye contact first, answering his mother.

"Yeah I told you I need to move my stuff in my apartment that's why".

"You're moving Taehyung?", Mr Jeon questioned this time.

"Y-yeah actually I was shifting my work related stuff to my apartment. I bought it near our office, in Gangnam. So that I can work from home too", Taehyung replied with a smile.

"What a surprise. Our Jungkookiiee had bought the apartment there as well. Where is your apartment?", Mrs Jeon asked.

"Mine is in front row. The first building".

"Jungkookiiee is shifting in last building, second floor".

Jungkook was surprised and shocked. How everything they do even in dark, connect them in light. None of them shared about owning an apartment there and now they found out that both have an apartment in the same society. His reverie broke when Mr Kim said,

"It's a good thing though but Taehyung's apartment is near to the office so if in future we need you to work from home then both of you can work from there".

Younger cheeks blazed with red hue, thinking about the time when they used to stay together under one roof. To make things more complicated (actually complicated for him but easy for all) Mr Jeon added,

"I was thinking about why don't we move them together for the next 3 months for the upcoming project? We need you both to focus on that while Dojin and I will keep an eye on office stuff. If Taehyung you don't have any problem with that".

"I-i.." before Taehyung could say something Mr Kim added, "Why would he have a problem. The apartment is big enough to provide a separate room for Jungkookiiee too. I think it's a really good idea".

"It settled then after your meeting with Kris, you'll move to Taehyung's apartment for awhile. For the time being you both are free to enjoy your little vacation time because after that you both will be covered with papers", Mr Jeon said, making Mr Kim laugh as well.

Both Taehyung and Jungkook had different thoughts although they still have 20 more days before that "staying together" thingie but something flick inside of both of them.

Taehyung was trying to make things easy for him and now this happened. It happens always, whenever they tried to move away from each other, they come back together like a push and pull relationship. The more they try to push away each other, the more closer they come.

They chatted about further details then Mr Kim dropped another bomb, "Since it's a first time we are gathered as a family, we have arranged Tae's birthday on big scale. So on 30th of December, we are going to host a party", Mr Kim said hugging Taehyung tightly.

"Dad why are you doing that. I'm not a baby. Let's skip this party thing", Taehyung tried to convince his father.

"Oh no.. Don't cancel it Kim. It's been so long since we last attended a family party", Mr Jeon said.

"It's settled then, we are going to celebrate our babe's 25th birthday", Mrs Kim said, kissing Taehyung's cheek..

Taehyung whined but to avail since both families made up their minds. Finally they both bid goodbyes and went to their separate directions.

Jungkook mind was fogged with thousands of thoughts again but this time he noticed something different. Taehyung didn't want him. He was trying to avoid living with him as much as possible. But why? It's not like he wanted to live with him but he shouldn't have shown such reaction.

The moment they entered in their house, Mr Jeon eyed Jungkook, "You disappointed me today son". Jungkook chewed his both lip, head low. He didn't wanted to do that. He was stuck on Yugyeom's house.

"Dad I swear it was an accident. I-i didn't do that on purpose", he stuttered.

"I never said that you did that on purpose but didn't I said to visit him afterwards? Did you saw Taehyung. He went to his friend after the family dinner unlike you who ignored that dinner and went to meet your friend first", Mr Jeon said in a serious tone.

Jungkook gulped he didn't know what to answer because he knew what his father said was right but what he should do about Yugyeom. He cared about him too. He apologized once again and left for his room. He saw message spam from Yugyeom apologizing. He plopped down on his bed and the first face that came in view was Taehyung's when he showed uncomfortable reaction about living together.

"Oh God please go easy on me", he whispered to himself.
