"Oh. Well, yeah. I just hadn't heard from you in a few days. Had to make sure the dogs were alright."

"...You're trying to play this off like you wanted to make sure Bruce and Baxter were okay?"

"If you wanted to talk to me you don't have to hide it. I call you all the time."

"Okayyy. So what have you been up to?"

"Well I spent the weekend visiting my brother at college."

"Oh cool! Where does he go?"

"He runs track at Montana State."

"Nice. I've always wanted to visit Montana."

"You've never been there? It's only like 3 hours away."

"Yeah, I know...we've just never had the time to make it over there."

"How long have you lived in Spokane?"

"Only about a year. We used to live in Ellensburg."

"Oh, what made you move to Spokane?"

"Um...just needed to switch it up I guess."

"Well, I'm glad you moved. If not, I may have never called you asking if you'd like to walk my pets."
