"My name's Harper. I'm Blaire's sister."

"She is, but I insisted that I talk to you first."

"Okay. What did you want to talk about?"

"I just wanted to make sure you weren't lying about who you were."

"Lassie and I have been over this. If she wants to confirm I'm a real person just call Crestwood High and ask the secretary."

"Lassie?"

"It's what I call your sister. It's one of our best friend things."

"Hmm...okay fine. You seem legit. But just to let you know, Jake, if you're lying I will find you and I will kill you."

"Wow, quoting Liam Neeson. I thought you were her sister not her father."

*Laughing and fumbling noises*

"Sorry about that. Harper can be a lot to handle."

"No worries. She's just being a little overprotective."

"Yeah, well, I don't really have a lot of friends...so she just had to be sure I guess."

"No friends? Why would that be?"

"Oh, um, no reason. I'm just kind of shy I guess."

"Well, good thing we're besties now. You don't need any other friends when you have someone as charismatic and charming as me to talk to."

"Wow Jakey, so humble."

"So is Harper your younger sister or your older sister?"

"Older. She's a senior at West Valley."

"Cool cool. So you're a junior there?"

"Oh uh, no actually. I don't really go to a school."

"So you're homeschooled?"

"Yeah...something like that."

"Man, I wish I could be homeschooled. Maybe that way I could get myself out of having to do these Algebra 2 assignments that I know nothing about."

"Don't like math huh?"

"Not even kind of."

"I could try helping you...if you want. Just send me pictures of the problems and I'll work them out for you."

"Really?! Lassie, you're a lifesaver."

"Just gotta live up to the nickname ya know?"
