Biology Lab,9.30am

"Nia,I don't believe these people are making us dissect a cockoroch,I hope I don't faint while doing it.",said Pranjal in a worried tone.

"Pranjy,stop worrying.It's just a cockoroch. Tiny, harmless and ....",I stopped when I had a look at the metal tray the cockroches were kept into.It was really not so eye pleasing.

"And what?",He asked curiously.

"Oh my god!Pranjal stop scaring me.You are making me nervous too.",I exclaimed in a frustrated manner.

After sharing worried glances with each other,we finally decided to get started with dissection procedure.So Pranjal went ahead and picked up a cockroch from the tray.He was holding it way too away from his body that it almost looked hilarious.

And then my moment of bravery arrived.I walked up to the table.When I looked at the tray,there were only two cockroches left by now.Just when I was about to pick one of them.Someone else picked it up first.I looked up to see who it was,my eyes met with an evil himself,Jay Mitra.

"Sweety,all the best with the cockoroch.You know they might come to life even if they look dead.",he said in fake worried tone.

"Thanks for your concern,Jay.A person like you must envy cockroches since they have thirteen chambered heart and you have none.",I replied with a sarcastic smile and then walked away.

I returned to my table and placed the cockroch in the glass tray.I was pinning it to the paper inside the tray.When suddenly the lab was filled with a big loud scream.I looked in the direction of it.

To my surprise, Jay was standing on the table with the most scared expressions on his face.I was confused as to why he had climbed onto the table suddenly.

All of my questions were answered within next few minutes.Jay was yelling at Warren,"You said the cockroch she took was alive.How come this one came to life you idiot?".

Warren replied,"cause you picked the alive one by mistake.Dude,I told you it was on the right."

The cockroch was on the floor and had become a centre of attraction of the students in the lab.

"Now make it go away.you know I am hell scared of cockroches.",he yelled at Warren again.This was fun to watch.Thank god the teacher had gone out of the lab and we could enjoy the show without interupption.

Warren tried catching it with his hands.This made situation even worse as the cockroch which was on the floor flew directly to the table where Jay was standing.This made him scream even louder than before.We all were now rolling with laughter.The teacher entered the right moment and saw Jay screaming out loud.She took him and Warren to the principal for disturbing the class as there was no alive cockroch found in the lab.Apparently,it had vanished somewhere during the chaos.

They say"cockroches are not bad said no girl ever.".I might want to rephrase that.

College cafeteria,11.30am

"Gawwd!!I missed the show.I wish I had taken biology instead of Geo.",Sasha made a pout while saying it.

And then we both burst into the fits of laughter again for like hundredth time.We stopped when our mouth started hurting so much.

"So how is your project going on?Does that looser still give you hard time?", asked Sasha suddenly changing the topic.

I don't know why but I felt an urge to defend Aaruj.So I said,"He isn't that bad Sasha.He is co-opearating with me."

"Oh please Nia,Don't try to defend him.You don't know how bad those people are.I know that evil group way better than anyone else in this college.I have known him since I was a kid.He and his friends can never.......",Sasha was interrupted by Aaruj.

"Samikkssha are you talking about me and my friends?",enquired Aaruj with a fake smile.

"Get lost before I smash your face you moron!!!",replied Sasha while greeting her teeth. Do these guys know each other from long time. Sasha was about to blurt out the past but Aaruj had interrupted. I was brought back from my thoughts when I heard my name being used in their conversation."I am not interested in talking to you Samiksha.I am here to talk to my lab and project partner.So excuse us if you can't shut your mouth.We have something important to discuss.",revealed Aaruj.

"Aaruj don't talk to her like that.She is my friend and she will not go anywhere.We can discuss project in front of her.",I said in an angry tone.

"Don't worry babes.I am relieved that I don't need to be in a company of this moron anymore.You guys continue and I will be going for my Geology class.Pranjy is waiting for me already.", with this she took our leave.

Now it was only Aaruj and me.

"How do you even bear her for long time? She is so annoying.",he said with an irritated expression.

"Just like you bear your angel friend Jay",I said in a sarcastic way.I guess he didn't know about the incident that happened in the lab today.He looked confused with my answer.However he continued to speak again,"Nia we need to buy some more things for our model.",I was confused now because we already had started working on the model and had everything we needed.

"Don't we already have everything we need?",I asked him rhetorically.

"No. There are some changes.Gupta sir just told me that he wants us to redesign some parts of the model.",he replied.

"So what exactly are we going to do?",I asked.He was about to speak again but he saw his friends entering the cafeteria. Suddenly,he held my hand and dragged me to the parking lot of College thorough the other door of cafeteria.

"Leave my hand.Your friends didn't notice us.They are still in the cafeteria.",I said in a hurt voice,when we reached the parking lot.It hurt me that he was not okay being seen with me.But why was I even feeling bad.I already knew this guy and his friends were total jerks since the very first day of college.

He let go of my hand as soon as he realised he was still holding it.He looked embarrassed after hearing what I had said. "It's not like that okay?",he tried defending himself.

"Oh really?",I asked raising an eyebrow.

"Chuck it,Nia,we are getting late.Here,take it and hop on the bike.",he ordered me while handing the helmet.

I refused to sit on his bike as the memories of his dangerous riding skills were still fresh in my mind.He looked so annoyed and I was enjoying every bit of it.

"Miss Tantrum will you ever listen to me without having a different opinion?", Aaruj asked me.

"Excuse me, I don't throw tantrums at all. That's your forte,Mr.Obey-me-everybody and yes May be I will listen to you someday without having a different opinion but that would be the day I would have lost my mind.",I spoke while crossing my arms.

"Please will you seat on the bike.We are getting late already.",he pleaded.I couldn't belive my eyes and ears.Did he just request me?I can't miss this opportunity .So I asked him with a smirk on my face,"Did you say something?I was not paying attention."

"You heard me,Nia.I already requested you. Now hop on the bike or I will have to make you sit on it.",he said with a devilish grin on his face.

I paid no heed to his warning as I was sure he wouldn't make do it.He wouldn't even think of creating a scene when there were people around us."Say it one more time.How you pronounce P.l.e.a.s.e?",I asked with the fake innocence.

"Please Miss Nia will you give me an honour to give you a ride on my bik?.", he asked while begging me dramatically.

I chuckled after watching it,and warned him while sitting on the bike,"No speedy ride okay?".

"I will try.Not to promise you anything", with this he sped his bike."I hate you.",I screamed on the top of my lungs while holding him tight on the shoulders.I had shut my eyes as I was scared to death.

"Your feelings are mutual.",he screamed while driving.I bet he had that smirk on his face without even looking at him.
