"Mayank bhaiya(brother)."I said beaming with a smile.

He shot me a suspicious look and then continued watching discovery channel where a man was eating octopus and apparently was trying to survive on an island.Gross!Boys can find anything interesting.

"Bhaiya,I am talking to you."I said blocking the TV as I stood in front of it.He threw a pillow at me which I successfully dodged.He yelled at me"Nia what do you want?Move.I am watching my favourite show."Offcourse I didn't move from my place.He got up and started taking big strides towards me.I made a run for the remote and changed the channel. Mission accomplished.I wanted to watch my all time favourite movie'Andaj apna apna'.

I hadn't missed movie as it has just started few minutes back.All thanks to Nikki who texted me about the movie being aired on some channel.It was our favourite movie and we remembered every single dialogue from it.I was now saying the dialogues along with the characters"Do dost ek chai..."

Suddenly Amir and Salman went mute.Mayank had pressed the mute button of TV.I screamed and walked upto him and tried pushing him aside.But that idiot didn't even move from his place.Soon Aunty entered the living room to check why we both were fighting.

"Why you guys are fighting?Mayank release her from your deadly grip.You will hurt her and Nia stop pulling his hair."she ordered us while we were wrestling with each other."Aunty, Mayank bhaiya is not letting me watch my favourite movie and wants to watch some gross show instead."I complained with innocence.

"Mom it's not gross.This girl is allergic to good shows as her IQ is very low to find them amusing."He said with a smirk on his face.I slapped his arm and we started wrestling again."You two, stop behaving like a three year old.Even kids these days are well mannered unlike you two."She said pulling us apart.This made us stop fighting.We hung our heads low.Mayank was giving me a side grin which made me choke while I tried hard not to laugh.

Soon Veena Aunty stormed inside Mayank's room and when she returned she had laptop in her hand.She gave it to me and said winking"Watch that movie online.Let him watch that gross show."

"Mom you always take her side and why did you give her my laptop?"He cribbed.To which Aunty replied"You are elder to her.Act your age.She is your little sister." I stuck my tongue out at him .

He stomped his feet and sat on the couch watching discovery again.I sat beside him.I placed the laptop on my lap as I sat cross legged.I clicked on the link of the movie website and it was buffering. Just when I was refreshing the link I accidentally clicked on some folder.It opened in no time and what I saw made me grin like an idiot.This was way more interesting than the movie.I had a look at him. His eyes were glued to the TV screen.

I started singing a song"O lal dupatte wali tera naam to bata. .....naam to bata tera naam to bata(tell me your name you girl in the red scarf)". He shot me a confused look and then turned his attention to the TV again.

I guess I had to give him some more hints.So I sang another song."Laal dupatta ud gaya re tera hawa ke jhoke se...(your red dupatta is flying away in the wind)". This made him angry and he said"Oh Miss- Sad- excuse- for- a-singer, will you just keep quiet and watch the movie."

"I was planning on watching it but then I saw this girl on your computer screen dressed in red anarkali and couldn't help but praise her beauty with my not so melodious voice."I said dramatically while gauging his reaction.His eyes fell from their sockets.Bang on. He definitely looked scared and annoyed at the same time.

"You are so mannerless.You should respect other people's privacy.Give my laptop back right now or I will call Mom this instant and complain about you."He threatened me trying to snatch the laptop from my hand.It looked like tug of war as I was pulling it from the other end.

"Call her she needs to know what a serious crime I have committed.But don't forget what will be the consequences if she comes to know you have a girlfriend and that's why you got less marks in your last exams."I spoke in a threatening manner.

His face was now blank and I felt bad for a while but then the typical sister inside my mind spoke"Good move Nia.This is your chance to take a revenge on Mayank.Now blackmail him to make him do what you want."I gave him a devilish grin.

"What will it take to shut your mouth?"He asked me in a defeated manner.

"I wasn't planning on asking for anything but since you insist you need to do ten things for me today and the first one is buying me an Ice-cream."I told him in victorious manner."All you gonna get is ice-cream and it should shut your loudmouth sis."he chuckled while saying it. Oh bad move Bhaiya.I will show you who is the boss.

"Veena Aunty, Mayank bhaiya. ...."that was all I managed to say since he covered my mouth with hands.I bit his hand and he winced in pain.Aunty came out from her room and was staring at us. Then she asked"what now, you guys are fighting again?"

"Nope Mom, we are going out to eat ice-cream."said Mayank putting his arm around my shoulder and we both pretended to be an ideal brother and sister duo.She looked surprised with our sudden good behavior towards each other but didn't say anything and just smiled at us.

Ice-cream shop

"Nia, decide quickly what you want or I will leave you here and go home."He warned getting annoyed.

"Mayank wait.We are talking about Ice-cream here.It's an art of choosing the right flavours.You can't rush this."I said leaning on the transparent glass of the refrigerator under which the different ice-cream containers were placed."Plain Chocolate or chocolate cookie. ...or vanilla and mango..nah...Strawberry vanilla...pineapple. ..or mixed fruit"I was deciding on the flavour while I talked to myself. I could see him rubbing his forehead in frustration.I was so enjoying it.Finally I decided to go for strawberry vanilla.Mayank chose orange ice candy.

Then the sales boy asked looking at me"how would you like to pay mam?Card or cash?".I replied in a filmy manner"Mere pass bhai hai." This made him chuckle and Mayank shot glare at both of us and handed out the cash. After eating the ice-cream,we exited the shop and he was walking towards his bike.I stopped him.He had annoyed expressions plastered on his face.

"Now what? "He said narrowing his eyebrow."Bhaiya..."I was cut off by him. "Don't call me that.You always have something evil in mind when you call me bhaiya."He said shaking his head.

"I want to buy a book.Take me to a book shop please.I will pay for it pppppplease."I said making puppy face.He didn't buy it.So I decided to blackmail him again"Hawa mein udta jaye tera laal dupatta malmal ka....(your red velvet dupatta is flying in the wind)". Soon He dragged me while saying"let's go. I know a bookshop which is just round the corner and they give discounts on book."

We reached the book shop.It wasn't crowded as it was afternoon.Mayank excused himself as his cell started ringing. I went near the shelves.I almost checked every shelf but didn't find the book I was looking for.I went to the counter and saw a boy arranging books on the shelf that was just behind the counter."Excuse me!"I said. He turned around and was now facing me.I was surprised to find him here.He looked equally surprised.It was Rehan Khan, Aaruj's friend.

"How can I help you?"he asked in a formal tone.Why was he pretending like he doesn't know me."Hi Rehan, you work here?"I tried to stir a friendly conversation but met with his cold glare.This evil group is certified in rudeness,I swear. "Yeah!I work here this shop belongs to my father.Now tell everyone in college and judge me the way you want.It doesn't matter."He said in a huff manner.

"Why would I tell anyone in college?Why would I even judge you? I don't have that right.There is nothing wrong in helping your family."I replied calmly. He looked taken aback by my answer and was staring at me with wide eyes.Then a small smile formed on his lips.That's not it, he also apologised to me for his rude behaviour earlier."He was right about you."He mumbled under his breath.I thought I heard it wrong.I was about to ask him what he had said but we were soon interrupted by Mayank.

"Hey Rehan,did you give my little sister the book she wants?"He asked while coming closer to the counter.I was surprised that these two knew each other.Rehan looked at me and then at Mayank again.There was confusion written all over his face."She is your sister?"He asked in disbelief.

"Yes I am."I answered with a proud expressions on my face.He looked nervous suddenly.Was It because of his gang's behaviour towards me?

"Offcourse she is my annoying little sister and that reminds me where is your brother and my buddie Fahad?"he was enquiring after Rehan's brother now.He made a face and then shrugged his shoulders in response saying"My brother is rare species you know.You will never find him at home or here in the shop.Must be with his girlfriend for the month."

"That guy will never change.He is a flirt since kindergarten."said Mayank as he chuckled.I thought I would be standing there forever as those guys were still talking each other. Fortunatly Rehan realised that I was there too."Sorry Nia.Which book do you want?"he asked turning his attention to me. "Galib shayri volume-3."I answered imdiately.

He looked for a while but didn't find it.He assured that he will inform me once the book comes in their collection.We took his leave and made our way out. "I want to meet her."I demanded while I was sitting on the backseat of bike. "Nia, you have already annoyed me with your stupid demands.We are going home."he said as he kept his attention on the road.

"Sorry.I was being so mean and I took advantage of your situation."I said pretending to be serious.He fell for my trick and then apologised me.I was doing a happy dance mentally. He suddenly changed the lane."Where are we going?"I asked cluelessly.He didn't answer my question and kept quite during the ride.

Soon we reached to 'Rising talent academy'. "You wanted to meet her right?"he asked looking at me."yeah! But why are we here at your academy?"I was confused as hell."You will come to know soon."he replied tagging me along inside the huge academy.

It was really big.It had a big playground and I could see some guys playing cricket from the distance.We entered inside the white and yellow coloured building.We were now passing by the Badminton court.There was an adjacent hall were people were playing snooker.We entered inside the gym area where I saw some people warming up and exercising. Mayank suddenly dragged me with him and we hid behind a pillar.I nudged his arms and he shot me an irritating look.Then he spoke in a hush voice"Do you see that girl in pink track suit over there?"

I replied in frustrated manner"I can't see her face stupid.. she is facing the wall." I didn't know why we were hiding here instead of going out there and talking to her.After all he was her boyfriend."Why are we hiding?let's go and meet her."I suggested. "Trishna is not my girlfriend.She doesn't even know I like her plus she is coach's daughter.I don't want to get killed."he revealed. His reply made me angry"What?Don't tell me you haven't even talked to her.I thought she is your girlfriend.I had even decided on the colour of the lehenga I will wear on your marriage."I pouted after saying that.

He looked at me as if I was some sort of lunatic. Soon that girl left the gym.We made our way through the exit of the building. As we were walking by the playground I saw her talking to someone. She was so pretty and had curly hair. I need to play a cupid for my brother. Then a monstruos idea generated in my brain. I suddenly called out her name in a hoarse voice."Hey Trishna"

Then I hid behind the wall near us.She looked in our direction only to find Mayank.He looked startled and tried to laugh nervously.She gave him a small smile in return and got busy in talking to her friend again.I tried to suppress the laughter but soon started bursting into the fits of laughter.

Mayank shot me an angry look and was walking in my direction now.When he reached closer I dodged him and made run for the playground as it was the only nearby escape.I was running fast and was ocassasionally looking behind to check whether he was still after me.

I suddenly bumped into someone and fell on the ground hitting my head.My vision soon blurred and I could see someone staring at me.I tried to keep my eyes open but they shut. Is this what they call death?I wonder if I will be sent to heaven or hell? Well,with the blackmailing charge in my kitty...hell it is.

I like Man vs wild show but sometimes it really is gross to watch him eat row meat and all that kinda stuff.Though his survival tricks are amazing.
I have had almost three or four head injuries till date.When I tell this to my friends they say "that's why you look slightly cracked?"which earns them a glare.
I hate medicines and prefer a shot of siringe. What about you?[why am I even discussing hospital stuff:(]
