Mayank dropped me at the college gate. First he wasn't ready to do so but I reminded him that he is my Rakhi brother now and has to fullfill all my demands.

Uncle and Aunty both were so happy to see that Mayank and I were now getting along.So Veena Aunty had suggested that I should tie rakhi on his wrist on the occasion of Rakshabandhan.So i did it.Aunty and uncle both were overjoying at that moment. Mayank gifted me a nice kurta which he had bought online.

I entered campus area and was walking towards my chemistry class when my phone rang in my sling bag.I saw Nikki's name on the screen and was so excited to answer the call.

"Hey babes how are you? ??",I exclaimed.

"Chuck the formalities Nia, I have a great news for you. Did you check Rishabh's profile status on fb?",she sounded so excited.

"What happened to I am fine.. what about you my darling friend Nia? Anyway I don't care about Rishabh. I am done stalking him. It doesn't bother me anymore. ", I tried to sound normal though I wanted to know every single detail about Rishabh.

"He broke up with his girlfriend Hazel. He is single again. So it means you can now relax. But you don't seem to care much so I should end this call right away", she said in a mocked serious tone.

"Sry Nikku, I know you wanted to make me happy. That's why I love you soooo much. But I am kind of in a hurry right now.will catch up with you later, okay?", with this I ended the call.

I was very happy by the news Nikki had just broke. However a part of me was cursing me for being so mean.I shouldn't be happy over someone's sorrow. But then I silenced the preaching voice in my head and decided that just for once I can be happy for a while.

I entered classroom with a wide grin on my face even though I was a bit late.I sat down on my chair. I was lost in my pool of happiness when I heard an announcement. So I raised my hand in excitement to participate in whatever  Mogambo was announcing without even knowing it.

"You will be getting an extra five marks in your semister exam for signing up this Science expo,Nia", said Mr Gupta, our chemistry professor.

I was now sure that everything was going perfect today.But my happiness couldn't last longer as what Mogambo spoke further, brought me back to the earth from my dreamland.

"Aaruj will help you in the Expo as he is your lab partner. So you two meet me after the college,"ordered Mogambo in a monotone.

I had not realised that Aaruj was also present in the class and was sitting at the back. So I turned to gauge his reaction.I could see he wasn't happy to participate in the expo.

"Sir, I will not be participating as I have cricket practice in the evening. I hardly get anytime from my busy schedule", he tried to sound calm but the annoyance in his voice was so evident.

"Less 10 marks if you don't participate Aaruj", threatened Mogambo.

Aaruj knew he couldn't argue more with him. He decided to agree to what Mr Gupta had asked. His friends Jay, Warren and Rehan shot him sympathetic looks. To which he didn't respond.

I was now in a bigger trouble. I could sense that he will be outrageous when he gets the opportunity to confront me. So when the bell rang, I almost dragged Sasha and Pranjal with me to the cafeteria as fast as I could. *****************************************

I was on my way to the staff room. Suddenly someone yanked me back. I was now facing that person.It was Aaruj who had finally managed to catch me after the little hide and seek I had played to avoid him the whole day.

"Are you out of your mind? ", questioned Aaruj with the harsh tone.

"I don't think so now let's meet Professor Gupta. We are getting late. ", I said calmly, and with this I was about to walk towards the staff room again.

However he pulled me back but this time he holded my arms tightly. I was now looking into his eyes.He was towering over me.His eyes were now boring into my face. It scared me to death.

"What the hell do you think of yourself?", he continued his outburst, "why did you signed up for that stupid expo. I had this cricket practice to attend. But due to your stupidity I will be not getting enough time to do so."

"I wanted those five marks okay and I didn't drag you into anything . It was professor's decision.Now leave me.", I said trying to escape from his hold which was getting tighter now.

He was about to speak something bitter again but was interrupted by Mr Gupta.

"If you both are done with your romantic conversation. Can we get into staffroom and discuss the model you will be making. ", said Mr Gupta sarcastically.

He had misunderstood our situation though in reality it was anything but romantic one.

Aaruj instantly let go of my arms and

we both followed Mogamo to the staff room quitely.

Hope you liked the chapter and the argument Nia and Aaruj had.I am happy with the reads crossing over 700+ , this is way more than I had expected at the beginning of this story.However it would mean a lot if you vote and comment also (only if you really liked the story:)).This would give me an idea how is story being received by readers.
