I was standing in the middle of the kitchen while Diane was staring at me and Julia was standing there in panic mode as I could see it in her eyes.

I watched as Diane now moved slower to me and I was about five seconds away from hitting her if she tried anything.

She stopped and looked towards Julia. "I thought you were better than this, Julia." She stared at her as I was staring between them.

Julia sighed. "Diane-"

"No, save your shit, Julia. I don't want to hear it." She looked back at me and I watched as she looked me up and down.

I crossed my arms as I was staring at her. This chick did not scare me and there was no way that she was going to fucking size me up.

"Diane, please listen." Julia begged.

Diane looked over at me. "Listen to what, Julia? More of your shit? You know what?" She turned to face her. "I thought we had a great marriage to the point where there was nothing wrong with it, but then everything happened all at once and it came crashing down." She stared at her for a moment. "What happened, Julia? Was I not good enough? Did I not make you happy?"

"You know what happened." Julia barely whisperd without making eye contact.

Diane chuckled then shook her head. "Clearly I don't or I would have tried to fix it. But, what I don't understand is why are you sleeping with a minor?" She questioned. "Your fucking student, Julia!"

"I'm not sleeping with her!" Julia yelled.

Diane stood there for a moment until she slowly walked over towards her and stood in front of her. "Why are you fucking lying to me, Julia?" She grabbed her wrist and that's when I stepped in.

"Don't fucking touch her." I said as I was now standing a few feet away from them.

Diane slowly turned around to face me. "Or what, kid?"

"I'm not a kid." I gritted my teeth as I watched her.

She raised an eyebrow. "You sure about that?" She asked. I stared at her for a moment until she continued. "Dana Mitchells, seventeen years old." She walked around me. "You have a pretty big record at school and I might have checked into a few things about your personal life."

"Ok, what the fuck?" I turned towards her but Julia grabbed my arm. "Who do you think you are?" I questioned as I shook Julia's hand away from me.

She smiled at me before lifting up the bottom of her shirt and showing a badge. "I'm the police, little girl. I can do whatever the hell I want to do regarding anybody in this county."

Man, did I want to fucking kick her ass right here.

Fuck the police.

"Oh and that's make you all big and bad?" I questioned. "You don't scare me, and my personally life nor anything else about me is any of your business!"

Diane smiled but soon looked over at Julia. "Do you know what you're getting yourself into? Regarding a trouble maker and a little badass, you're messing with a minor, Julia. I thought you were better than this."

"You don't have proof." Julia said.

Diane looked somewhat scared. "Oh shit, no proof is not going to help me in this case." She bit her nails before staring back at us with a blank expression. "Do you remember those security cameras we installed a few month ago?"

Oh shit.

I looked over at Julia as she was staring at Diane with a scared expression. I looked back at Diane as she was standing there. "Y-yes." Julia stammered.

"Yeah, well.." Diane looked somewhere for a moment and I followed her gaze until I saw a camera in the corner of the wall. "I have this app on my phone," She took her phone out. "and I can see everything that happens in this house, which still is my house until the divorce papers come and the attorney will decide on who gets this house or not, but anyways, yeah." She looked at her phone for a moment before turning towards us.

The shit I saw on her phone was proof right there that me and Julia have been seeing each other.

"You know," Diane sighed. "I don't want to be the bad guy in this situation, but I just can't help myself. I've been putting up with your shit for years and I'm just to the point where I don't give a shit anymore." She stared at us for a moment.

I looked over at Julia as she was staring at her in confusion. When I looked back at Diane, she was staring at us. "What do you mean?" Julia spoke.

"I'm to the point where, it doesn't affect me anymore. When we talked that day when we met up, you know, I knew something was going on." She said.

I looked over at Julia. "When did you meet up?"

"A week ago." Diane spoke. "I have been watching you for a week and I finally found out everything I needed to know."

I stared at her until Julia spoke. "You were stalking her?"

"No," Diane spoke. "I was stalking both of you."

I stared at her. "You can't fucking do that."

"Um," She lifted her shirt up to show her badge.

"I don't give a shit if you're a cop or not. Stalking us and watching what we're doing is-"

"Legal, you little shit." Diane said as she was staring at me. "I was getting proof on my case with you two, and I got it. Don't tell me what the hell isn't legal or not little girl."

I clenched my fists. "Call me a little girl, one more time."

I was getting tired of this bitch and I didn't care if she was the police or not.

I felt Julia grab my shoulders. "Dana, stop."

"Yeah, Dana. Just stop." DIane said. "Before you get into more trouble." She stared down at her phone before looking back at us. "I have my proof, so there's no real reason for me to be here anymore." She smiled. "See you later."

I watched as she was walking out of the kitchen and I knew that I was not about to let her walk out of that front door with the proof she has over me and Julia.

I ran towards her and I soon heard Julia behind me. "Dana, no!"

One Week Earlier

Julia's POV

Meeting up with Diane was making me have a panic attack. I wasn't sure on what she was wanting to talk about and it wasn't like her to even want to meet up to talk.

As I parked my car in front of the cafe, I got out and looked around until I saw Diane's car parked a few spots away. I walked to the front door before taking a deep breath and walking inside.

It wasn't completely crowded, but there was a good amount of people here. I looked around and saw Diane sitting at a table next to the window. I walked over to her and stood there until she looked up at me.

She smiled. "Hey," She stood up and pulled me into a hug. "thanks for coming." She sat back down and I sat across from her.

"Yeah." I looked down at the table. I didn't want to look at her.

"Do you want anything to drink?" She asked.

I looked up at her then shook my head. "No, thanks though."

She slightly smiled then looked down for a moment. "So, the reason why I wanted you to meet up is because I really need to talk to you." I nod as I stared at her, waiting for her to continue. "Can you call off the divorce?"

"What?" I asked. I stared at her for a moment. "Why?"

She sighed. "I just think it's bullshit, Julia. I mean, what are we really doing? Why are we doing this?"

"We talked about that already, Diane." I said.

She looked down. "I know, but.. I love you, Julia and I don't want to do this." She stared up at me. "Please."

"My mind is already made up." I said as I was looking at the table.

She sighed and we sat there for a moment. "Is it someone else?" She asked.

I looked up at her as she was staring at me. "What?" I asked. I shook my head. "No, Diane. I already told you that I just don't feel anything anymore. Nothing is the same, and we both know that."

"If it was someone, you would tell me, right?" She questioned.

I nod. "Yes, but it's not. I'm not seeing anyone."

All I could think about was Dana at the moment and even though I wanted to smile, I decided not to.

"I can't believe you're doing this shit, Julia. After everything we have been through, all the times that I was there for you when you couldn't get pregnant, and all the fights we had but made up afterwards." She shook her head.

I stared at her. "Don't guilt trip me over this, Diane. We talked about this already, and you know that. You're just saying this shit to make me feel bad, and it's not going to work."

"Fuck this, Julia!" She yelled.

I look around as people were staring and I looked back at Diane as her anger issues were getting out of hand again. "Can you not scream in public?" I asked.

"What the fuck do you expect, Julia? I'm losing my fucking wife." She said as she was staring at me. "I loved you unconditionally and this is what you do to me."

I couldn't believe that she was blaming me in this situation.

"Diane, there is something else that has a reason for all of this." I said as I knew she didn't forget, but she wanted me to bring it up for us to argue about.

She stared at me. "What?" She asked.

I looked around for a moment before I looked back at her. "You're a little agressive." I said.

"What?" She chuckled. "Aggressive? What do you mean?"

I shook my head. "Don't play dumb, Diane. You know what I'm talking about." I stared at her as I knew damn well that she knew what I was talking about.

"You knew how I was, Julia. You knew me for years, but yet you still want to put me out as the bad guy? Sometimes I can't help how I am!" Her voice got high, but did not attract any attention.

I shook my head. "I told you to get help, Diane. I can't keep living like everything is fine when it's not behind closed doors." I watched her for a moment. "I'm not changing my mind."

She soon stood up and stared at me. "Fine, Julia. Just know that I know something you don't, and I will be watching you."

She left afterwards.

-

Julia had her arms wrapped around my neck from the back as we were now standing outside, a few feet away from Diane. She wiped the blood from her nose and stared at us.

"You know," She stared at me. "I could have you arrested for assault on a police officer." She looked pissed, which didn't phase me.

I felt Julia's arms tighten, and I couldn't help but smile a little but soon it faded as I stared at Diane. "Next time you'll think twice before messing with me." I said.

"Diane," Julia spoke. "please." She begged.

Diane shook her head before smiling off somewhere.

Yeah, this chick was insane.

"Why the hell should I just let this slide?" She questioned. "Give me one reason."

I stared at her. "I'll kick your ass."

"You won't do shit, little girl."

I took a step towards her, but took one back as Julia pulled me back. I stared over at Diane as she was staring at me. I clenched my fists and I was more than ready to jump her.

Diane slowly nodded. "Ok, fine." She held her hands up. "I won't do anything." I stared at her in confusion before she spoke again. "You both will get what is coming to you, eventually." She walked down the sidewalk and I watched as she walked to her car and got in.

After she left, I left Julia's head on my shoulder. Before I could say anything, I heard a voice. "Is everything ok?" I look over to see a blonde hair woman standing on the sidewalk, looking at us.

"Yes." Julia said as she soon lifted her head up. She removed her arms then started walking towards that woman.

I watched as they were talking and I soon caught sight of that little boy I saw a week or so ago. I walked over to him as he was riding his three wheeler, and when I stopped in front of him, he stopped and looked at me.

"Hey, I know you!" He smiled at me. "I forgot your name."

I chuckled. "Dana, and you're Oliver."

"Yeah!" He laughed. He looked over towards Julia and that woman. "That's my mom."

I look over at them then back at them. "Where's your dad?" I asked.

"I have two moms." He smiled.

I nod as I look back at that woman and notice that he looks exactly like her. I look back at him. "You look like your mom." I nod towards that woman.

"Yeah, everyone says that."

I cross my arms as I look around. "Where's your other mom?"

"She's with her friends." He said as he started peddling and soon was circling around me. He started laughing as he was going faster around me, coming closer to my legs every few seconds.

I watched him for a moment until I heard Julia. "He likes you." She chuckled as she walked over towards me with that Oliver's mom.

"He really likes girls." His mom said as she was smiling at him.

Julia chuckled and I looked at her and gave her a look. "Oh," She looked over at that woman. "this is Dana," She looked back at me. "this is Olivia Shuler."

I smiled as we shook hands. "It's nice to meet you, Dana." Olivia smiled.

"Same to you." I said back.

I watched as Julia looked at Olivia. "Where's Sam?" She asked.

"She's out with Matthew." Olivia said. She looked over at Oliver for a moment until she looked back at Julia. "If you're not doing anything this weekend, maybe we can all get together." She smiled. "It would be nice."

Julia smiled. "Of course."

"You too, Dana." Olivia smiled at me. I nod as I watch her. "Ok, Oliver. Are you ready to go inside?" Olivia asked as she was looking at Oliver.

Oliver looked at me. "Can Dana come?"

"No," Olivia chuckled. "she's with Julia right now, but maybe we can all hang out one day."

Oliver pouted. "Ok." I chuckled as I watched Olivia walk him to their house. She turned to wave at us before walking inside.

I turned towards Julia and was instantly caught off guard when she wrapped her arms around my neck and laid her head against my shoulder. I heard her sigh. "I'm so sorry, Dana."

"For what?" I asked.

She lifted her head up to look at me. "For Diane."

"What about her?" I chuckled. "She doesn't scare me." I placed my hands on her hips.

She looked down. "She has proof." She barely whispered before closing her eyes and sighing.

"She won't do anything." I stated.

She looked back up at me. "How do you know? You don't know her like I do, Dana. We could get into some serious trouble. She has proof all over her phone." She stared at me. "She has videos of us kissing, and you being over at my house."

"Yeah but-"

I was cut off when Julia grabbed my arm and started pulling me to her house. "Come with me."

"Where are we going?" I asked.

She smiled at me. "You'll see."

-

I was crouched down with Julia as I had no idea what the hell was going on right now. I watched as she was doing something, but I didn't know what the fuck was going on.

"I think I got it." She said as she was holding two wires.

I stared at her for a moment. "What are we doing?" I asked as I looked around.

"We're disconnecting these wires that go to the camera's around the house." She explained as she disconnected the wires.

I watch her as I soon heard a beeping noise and I started looking around until Julia got up and walked over to her laptop that was sitting on a table in her room. I stood up and walked over to her as she was doing something on it.

"What's this?" I asked as I was staring at her laptop.

She sighs as she looks at me. "When Diane and I placed these camera's around our house, we had them hooked up to almost everything. Our phones, computers and TVs." She looks down at the screen. "I had forgot about them because we really haven't used them in a few weeks." I watched as she bit her lip. "If only I knew before.."

I stare down at the screen as all the camer's now read; Signal Lose. I thought for a moment and came up with an idea. I look over at Julia, but knew that if I told her, she wouldn't agree to it.

I had to get Diane's phone somehow before she showed those videos to anyone.

"Dana," Julia said which made me look at her. "I want to say that I'm sorry and even though Diane now has proof, and can easily turn us in, I really can't lose you."

I stared at her for a moment. "What do you mean?"

"You've become something special in my life, and I know that sounds really cliche and shit, but I just can't imagine what's going to happen." She stared at me as her eyes were watering. "I'm really scared, but I don't want you to leave."

I stared at her with confusion. "Leave?" I questioned.

"With everything that's going on, I know that the right thing to do is to leave and be away from each other, but for some reason I don't think that's going to solve anything. She already has proof and there's really nothing for us to do." She said.

I stare at her for a moment. "I think we can do something about that."

"Like what?" She asked.

I look back at the computer screen before looking back at her. "I can try to get her phone, so that way she has no proof."

"No," She instantly shook her head. "that's too dangerous. Plus, Diane isn't the type of person to mess around with." She sighes. "It's best if we just leave it alone until I can think of something else." She looks over at me. "Promise me, Dana."

I stare at her for a moment before crossing my fingers behind my back and looking at her. "I promise."
