"Daddy's here," he speaks in my ear, and I unconsciously twitch at the feeling of his breathing on my skin. "Shut up," I chuckle and hit him. "Where's your stuff? Aren't you gonna stay?"

"Oh..." I now get why I felt so light when I left my house. "I forgot my bag..."

"No way. I'm so surprised to hear that," he feigns astonishment. "You were so excited about seeing me that you literally run out of your house without thinking twice."

"Sure," I offer him the answer he wants to get from me, and he smiles but heaves his hands up to my face to cup it and hold the sides of it. "I almost forgot what my little brat looks like."

"When was the last time you FaceTimed me, dumbass?" I give him a judging look, and he pretends not to recall. "I don't know. Two weeks ago? Didn't see your face since then," he takes his hands off of me when I loved the feeling of his touch.

"Oh, that's why I couldn't even recognize your ugly face, those blue eyes are so common here," I watch the smile grow on his face the more I am telling bullshit, and he leans in to brush my nose with the tip of his. "Tell me how many guys you've come across with those pretty blue eyes."

"One single man," I maintain eye contact and smile like a kid. "Exactly, now tell me how many guys you've come across with this pretty face?"

"A lot," I giggle and move back to not have his face so close to mine anymore. "Come back here and answer this question again," he cups my face with one hand and pulls me towards him, and my heart skips a beat. "Come on, repeat after me. Daddy,"

"No," I laugh and push him away. "I've seen many other pretty guys— I'm joking," I change my mind as soon as I see his lips move. "You're the prettiest one."

"Aw, thank you. I know this comes right from the bottom of your heart, so this means a lot," he makes me laugh no matter what he does. "Come here now," he sticks his hands in his pockets and heads towards a certain spot, so I follow his long legs and try to see where he is going.

Towards the bench that we always share when we come here.

"Look," he grabs a brand new skateboard I have never seen before and gently places it before me. "This is yours."

"Are you kidding?" I gape in front of this black skateboard and pick it up, seeing every member of Stray Kids on both sides. "I'm not. You lost yours after those bastards stole it, so I got this one for you, and since I felt like Han is your bias, he's bigger than the other members."

"Thank you so much," I jump on him and wrap his arms around him. "I love it, that's so pretty."

"I'm glad you like it," he hugs me back, and I peek down at it again, loving it way too much to even think about putting my feet on it and damaging any inch of it. "I don't like it. I love it. You have no idea how happy it makes me."

"Well, you have no idea how happy it makes me too," he runs his fingers through his hair, and I move away from him to take the skateboard. "How much did you pay for that?"

"I can't remember, I blanked out suddenly," he does not tell me the truth, keeping this to himself. "You better not have spent too much on it," I look into his eyes to see if he is going to expose himself, but he smiles and stares. "This is my money. I do what I want with it. Now get on that board," he orders me to do, but I cannot do it. "No, I don't want to put my feet on their pretty faces."

"Are you for real?" he does not understand the mind of a stan. "Of course I am. Think about it as if that was your crush's face on it, would you put your feet on it?"

"Well, do you wanna know how many girls and pretty boys asked me to step on them?" he never gets rid of his worrying arrogance I wish I could snatch out of him, and I think thoroughly before hitting him with my board. "Do you wanna know?" he repeats himself as if I did not hear him the first time. "No—"

"None," he humiliates himself. "Now get on that board or I step on that Han guy you like so much," he becomes obsessed with him, so I do not do as told but let my eyes fixed on him only. "Do you have a problem with that?"

"What? About the fact that you called them your crushes?" he shows what seems to be fake jealousy, and I chuckle. "I don't have that many crushes. Just Bangchan, and him," I drag his attention towards Han. "I love his lips, his big eyes, his smile, his voice, and how fast he raps," every word full of admiration flows out of my mouth, and I raise my eyes up to look back at Joonha. "You're done?"

A broad smile forms on my face. "I'm not, I love his adorable mole, and his abs, oh my god," I provoke him by being a simp and saying words I would never say if I was serious. "He's so cute, and have you heard him laugh? This is the cutest—" I stop once I see him turn his back to me and leave, and I giggle but run after him. "Stay here. Why are you leaving?"

"I don't wanna hear you anymore, even if you're not done, I am done," he keeps walking to make me believe he will leave me alone here, so I run back to my board to take it and rush after him again. "Why are you done? Hm?" I question him, and he goes in another direction to ignore me. He heads towards the bench, so I put my hand around his arm. "Hey. Answer me," I gaze up at him and do not give up. "Joonha. Joonha," I wrap my arm around his this time, but he sits down, spreads his legs, bends his head back, and he crosses his arms and closes his eyes.

I do not keep quiet or go away, I get by his side and put my skateboard on the floor to lean on his taller body and wrap my arms around him. "Joonha. Answer me. I'm gonna cry if you pretend I'm not here," I comb his bangs back and touch his lip ring. "Hey. Do you really want me to cry?" I poke his plump and soft lips, and they slowly curve up, but he makes fast to prevent the smile from appearing on his face, so I tap my finger on them. "Joonha. I didn't mean what I said, you're the prettiest. You have the prettiest lips, voice, eyes, the cutest laugh, and the most impressive abs ever. Hm? And you're six foot two so you're taller than him." I peck his cheek. "Daddy Joonha."

He finally reacts and sets his sparkling blue eyes on me, now smiling. "Give me another kiss, and maybe, I'll be less hurt and mad."

I encircle his neck with my arms and press my lips on his cheek to give him a long kiss. "There."

"Now get on your knees," he glances down at my lips that parted after my ears sent the message to my brain. "When I said that I won't let you put anything in my mouth, I meant it."

"What?" he moves his head up and reduces the gap between our faces. "Why would I put something in your mouth? I said on your knees because you have to apologize for breaking my heart."

I grin but hide it as much at I can. "When did I even break your heart? You broke it yourself."

"You're even worse than I thought," he never looks away but keeps his eyes deep into mine, and I shake my head, not agreeing with this. "I'm kind."

"You're not," he glances down at the ground and moves his leg that is the closest to mine, and he dares to put his foot on my skateboard, his eyes meet mine again, and he smirks but drags the board towards him to place both feet on it. "See. I'm stepping on your crushes."

"You're a baby," I do not mean my words, and he shrugs, the contact between us not breaking. "I have to talk to you about something, and I know you're gonna be sad, but it's alright, I'll give you a hug and kiss, but we've been talking about this for months with Seunggil," he does not keep the skateboard still, moving it from left to right with his feet, making me nervous with this sudden topic. "And we're gonna go on vacation with him and other friends, but like, it's not an usual one. We will be in the woods, and we'll live in a cabin mansion all together, but we'll stay there for three weeks, and the problem about it is that we won't be allowed to use our phones unless it's a member of our family who's calling or texting for something important," he tells me what I wish was a joke, and I blankly gaze at him. "We won't talk for two weeks, but after that, I promise I'll make a big party just for us two."

"So we're not going to text or see each other for three weeks?" I cannot believe this is not a lie to annoy me and get me to expose the fact I like being with him. "I can't. We have to respect the rules, otherwise, there's no point in doing that."

"And who's going to be there?" my mood gets completely ruined, and I move back from him. "Me, Seunggil, three other guys we often play with, two old friends from our childhood and two other girls I know less but who are close to Seunggil, and then Iseul."

Iseul. Amazing.

"Hm. And they're all going to respect that rule?" I doubt it, and he nods. "I hope they will. They all said they were interested in doing it."

"So you're all gonna live, eat, sleep in one house?" I cannot get the thought of him getting much closer to Iseul or another girl. I know how a vacation with friends in one house always ends like. They have fun, drink alcohol, then have sex. "Yeah, but there are like six bedrooms."

"Six bedrooms for ten people," I point that out since he does not seem to get what I mean. "The two girls will probably share a bedroom, and some guys will share the same bed unless after one week, there are one or two new couples, that will free some space," he chuckles and thinks like I do. "Hm," I do not know what else to say, I lean back and fix my crop top to hide a part of my stomach that sometimes gets exposed.

I do not want to even imagine how I am going to feel after one day only. He will get so close to Iseul for sure, maybe even another one who might turn him on and have sex with him. I am paranoid, maybe, but I am worried.

"What's wrong?" he pushes my leg with his, pretending not to know. "What's wrong?" I set my eyes on him with grief. "Nothing, obviously. I don't care anyway. I'll meet another guy here to help me practice."

"I'm your only teacher, so you won't do that," he gets my eyebrows to raise. "You think? My teacher will be on vacation, so I'll get another one. I still need to practice."

"Did you come here last week when I couldn't but that you were free?" he has fun making a point, but I avert my eyes from him, looking at everything but him now. "No, but I simply didn't want to."

"Oh, of course," he expresses his skepticism, but I do not pay attention. "If we knew each other back when we planned this, I would have taken you with me, but since Seunggil's dad owns that mansion, he told him he'll only accept ten people, so we had to pick right at the beginning."

"My brother wouldn't have allowed me anyway," I pretend to not be affected by it but be aware. "We'll have fun once I'm back. I promise."

"I don't want to have fun," I stand up and put my foot down on my new skateboard he is still occupying. "Can you come to my house today?"

"When are you leaving?" I get my other foot on the board but have his long leg between mine. "On Monday. He called me yesterday to tell me about it, but it was planned to happen next week anyway."

"I'll need to ask my brother if I can come then," I get off the board he was keeping still for me, and I grab my phone to text Inhyuk.

[ hey, can I go to Joonha's house today? He's gonna leave for three weeks for a trip in two days >

< three weeks? Where the fuck is he going? And what about his job? ]

"He asked me what you're going to do about your job?" I question him about this to get his answer. "The coffee shop is gonna close for a month."

"Alright," I trust him since lying about this would be more than dumb, and I type the text to my brother.

[ the coffee shop closes for a month, so they're going on vacation >

< okay. Is his dad gonna be there? ]

[ yes. He's always there on the weekend >

< I'm driving you both there and I come pick you up then ]

[ okay >

"He said yes, but he'll drive us both there and come pick me up," I tell him the news, and he smiles. "Great. I can't wait. He's not gonna say yes if I ask you to stay for the weekend though, right?"

"Well, I'm already impressed by the fact that you managed to gain enough of his trust to make him say yes," I put my phone back in my pocket, and he leans forth to rest his forearms on his lap. "I don't think I'm the one he trusts. You're the one he trusts."

"Would you see it that way if you were in his shoes?" I try to forget about what he told me a few minutes ago, and he glances away. "Well. Yeah. I think I would because I know that at eighteen, you cannot be treated like a baby anymore, you need to start your life and also go out with friends, start to have relationships and experience that stuff if you haven't before, so I would trust her, but still need to trust the guy she's hanging out with."

"That means you know you must be very careful and honest with me, otherwise, my brother and dad are gonna kill you," I threaten him to see what is his reaction to that, and he smiles at me, showing no fear at all. "I know. I'm always honest and careful with you."

"Good," I have confidence in his words, and he never takes his eyes off of mine.

•••

3:30 pm.

I look for my brother's Audi after receiving a text from him, and I lead Joonha towards it once I see him, but I tell him something before reaching it. "Get in the front and chat with him, alright?"

"I will," he chuckles at this small order, and we both get into my brother's car. "Hey," I open the car in the back and get it, and Joonha goes right next to him. "Look what he bought me," I show him the skateboard that I am happy about, and he turns around to check it. "I won't have to buy you one then," he glances at me, and I shake my head and lean back to put my seat belt on.

"Was it expensive?" he asks Joonha. "Just a hundred and eighty," he mutters as if he was attempting to not let me hear it, and I slap his head. "Are you insane? Why would you waste so much on me?"

He chuckles but stares at me. "That's not even that much for a board, and I wanted to customize it, so I went to a guy who's known to be good at it."

"Do you often offer gifts to your friends like that?" my brother grasps his attention, and he licks his lips. "Depends. I only do that with close friends like Seunggil, or when there's a birthday, I buy them gifts if I can because I work in a coffee shop, so I don't earn that much money."

"I understand," he focuses on the road while thinking about as many questions as he can to interrogate him now that we are trapped in his car, but I set my eyes on Joonha and listen to them, silently. "So, y/n told me about that vacation you're gonna be on for three weeks. Is it gonna be in another country?"

"No, we stay here. We don't have enough money to travel to another country," he replies. "We're gonna be ten there, and we'll stay at a log cabin mansion that my best friend's dad owns, but we wanted to change our habits and kinda get off of social media and everything like that, so we won't use our phones unless it's for an important matter," he tells him what he already explains to me. "That's a great idea, honestly."

"That's what we thought with Seunggil," he shares the same opinion. "I wanted to ask you something, I mean," he dares mention a new topic that seems a bit risky. "I wanted to ask for your permission."

"Tell me," he lets him go ahead, and Joonha puts his elbow down on the door to rub his fingers over his lip ring. "Since I'm going to be away from y/n for three weeks, I wanted to ask you if you would allow y/n to stay at my house for the weekend? My dad would drive her back home on Monday."

My brother does not respond, so I look at his reflection in the rearview mirror, and he tilts his head, which means he does not want to say yes but needs some time to think of an excuse. "I'm not sure about that. I'm not very comfortable with this."

"I understand, I just wanted to ask you first, but it's fine," he shows maturity and does not get mad. "I'm just..." Inhyuk sighs. "I'll need to talk to you in private first."

"Sure, I'm totally fine with that," he agrees, and I now worry about what is going to be talked about between them both.

10 minutes later...

"Dad?" Joonha puts his bag down as I took my shoes off, and his taller, muscular dad comes within sight. "Hey," he greets us but lands eyes on me, and a smile curves his lips up. "Hello, y/n. Nice to meet you."

"Nice to meet you too, Mister Jeon," I bow to him, and I gaze down at Choco, the fluffy ball I have always wanted to see in real life. "Dad. Her brother wants to talk to me, so I'll be back in a few minutes. Okay?"

"Yeah, sure," he does not show any bother about this, and Joonha turns towards me. "Take my bag and get in my bedroom if you want. My name is written on it," he hands me his belonging, so I hold it and watch him leave.

I hope this goes well.

Once the door closes, I drift my eyes towards Mister Jeon but feel shyer than expected.
