Harry & Maggie have their first interaction:)

Opening night had me running around like a mad woman, but thankfully Harry's team had made this so easy for me. It took them just two days to email me back all the documents I sent, and I actually had time to put everything in a binder, which was my preferred method of organization. I slipped in my sister's ticket and wristband before heading out of my office.

I walked over to Harry's dressing room and my assistant Anita was already waiting for me outside with the cart holding all the snacks bins and everything else I requested.

"Maggie! I'm so excited!!!" she looked so cute in her black skirt and black Love on Tour shirt we were gifted earlier today to wear for the first show.

I had chosen to wear a dress today, and felt strangely uncomfortable not knowing how to wear the shirt with my dress, so I carried it on my arm.

"You look so cute! I don't know what to do with mine, it looks weird over my dress."

"I bet I can fix it! Come on, let's go inside."

Once we were inside I slipped my shirt on and Maggie analyzed the situation, her eyes brightened up like they always did when she got an idea.

"I'll be right back okay!"

I nodded and turned to the cart, deciding I would start setting everything up. I placed my binder down and began setting up the bins for the snacks. Harry had requested bananas, simple chips, and some vegan snacks. I added some additional dried fruit I got at Trader Joe's thinking he would enjoy them.

My alarm went off on my phone and I quickly turned it off and started my stop watch. I always started it thirty minutes before the expected arrival time of the artist so I could keep track of how late or early they were.

Anita made her way back in the room locking the door and I raised an eyebrow at her.

"Take off the dress and put these on." She said, handing me a pair of sheer black tights."

"But it's a shirt?"

"Yeah, and it's like half an inch shorter than your dress. You're basically five feet Mags, it'll look fine."

I bit my lip and nodded as she turned around to finish setting up while I changed like she said.

"Okay, done."

She turned to look at me smiling, "Umm, last thing, trade me your earrings."

I reached up and held my pearls, "But I love these."

"Maggie, just trust me, I promise I won't lose them."

I nodded, taking off my pearls and putting on her mini gold hoops.

She took a step back and smiled, "Perfect."

She walked me over to the full length mirror and smiled at how I looked, before walking over and unlocking the door. I looked over at myself and smiled at myself. My combat boots still looked good and my dark black hair made it all a vibe, "Wow, literally why didn't I think of this. Thanks Anita, there are always extra reasons why I keep you around." I smiled and hugged her tight as the door opened and Charles walked in.

"Hello ladies, it looks good here." He looked around the room, stopping at me, and raising both eyebrows, "Mags, you look different, good different of course."

Anita giggled softly, turning away to not bring further embarrassment to Charles.

"Thanks Charlie," I smile knowing hearing his nickname would make him feel better, "And where is your shirt mister team player?"

I smirked at him as his face flushed red and he stuttered out, "I'll put it on in a bit, but Harry and his team are almost here."

I looked at my stop watch, and nodded. We had twenty more minutes before they arrived.

"Anita, if you're all done I think you should start heading out before they get here please." Charles said much to Anita's dismay.

She turned and looked at me and I laughed softly, "Not today, but I promise you will meet him okay? I just have a lot to go over with the team."

"Okay Mags, let me just pick up."

As she picked up the room I felt Charles staring at me, but I chose to ignore it.

Anita was about to make her way out the door when I remembered I had my sister's ticket.

"Oh, Anita, wait!" I made my way over to my binder pulling out the ticket and wristband, "Please get these to my sister, and make sure she gets the barricade okay? I'll send you her contact right now."

"You got it Mags," she said as I pulled out my phone and sent her the information.

"Oh and Anita, she can't bump into Harry, so pleas—I'll take her around the other way. Don't worry, I got this."

I smiled, I truly had the best assistant ever. I turned back to Charles who was just staring at me, "What? I can be fun and professional and you can't guilt me for that."

He cracked a small smile shaking his head at me, "Maggie, you're going to give me gray hair."

"You mean more than you already have?" I say teasing and raising an eyebrow.

He's about to say something when there is a knock at the door. I look at my stop watch, knowing we still have fifteen minutes, "I wonder who that could be?"

I walked over and opened the door, and there stood Harry Styles and members of who I assumed were the band.

"Oh hello sorry, we weren't expecting you all just yet, come in." I said opening the door further and leteveryone in. Jeff was the last one to walk through the door.

"Ahh, hi Maggie, nice to see you again, Charles this is everyone!"

We shook hands with Harry's backing band as Jeff introduced us to them, Niji, Pauli, Elin, Mitch, Sarah, and Ny Oh.

"And of course the man of the hour, Harry himself. Harry, this is Maggie and Charles."

"Hi I'm Maggie, nice to meet you," I say, extending my hand out with a smile.

He takes my hand and shakes it, "Ahhh, it's checklist girl." He laughs and turns to Jeff before finally letting go of my hand.

"Checklist girl?" I say raising an eyebrow.

"Yes, Jeff showed me the email you sent, with all the checklists."

"Oh, yeah," I chuckled, "I like to be prepared." I said pointing over to my binder with the Love on Tour poster on the front.

"Well then I know I'm being taken care of." He smirked at me and something in my stomach did a flip.

I nodded and walked over to the binder to stop any further eye contact, "Okay, so shall we get started on the break down of the day?"

I opened my binder and noticed my pen was missing, I felt my nonexistent pockets looking around in case it fell.

"Everything okay Mags?" Charles asked.

"Oh, sorry, I just, I can't find my pen."

Charles looked through his pockets trying to find one and suddenly I heard Harry's voice, "I got one here for you, here you go."

"Thank you Harry." I took it and smiled softly.

I went over the basics with everyone and the breakdown of the day. 1:30 sound check, 5:00 doors open. They gave me their notes and when everything finished I looked down at my stop watch.

"Alright everybody, we have thirty minutes until soundcheck. Harry I can order you something quick for today for your lunch if you want right when the sound check is over. Normally I'll have it already here by then, but I need to time the sound check."

"That's fine, just a reminder that I am — a pescatarian, I know I got you." I smiled at him.

He smiled and nodded as I walked out with the rest of the band and showed them each their dressing rooms.

When I was done with that, I quickly made my way out to the arena running up the stage.

"Roger?" I called out, and he popped out from under the stage.

"Everything good for sound check?"

He smiled, "Just finishing the trap, what we got on the clock?"

"Twenty five more minutes," I smiled, loving how Roger knew my way of working.

"Alright, well madam, the stage is yours. The boys are almost done, they won't bother you."

"Thanks Roger." I smiled walking to the middle, laying next to the trap door.

This was my thing at every show. Right before sound check, I would lay out on the stage and stare up at the different views depending on the stage.

"Mags, we are done, gunna go get food before the show," the techs yelled out to me.

I sat up and gave them a thumbs up, "Let Roger know please!"

I sighed and layed back down, closing my eyes. I took a deep breath as I listened to their footsteps fade away, then almost complete silence. You could still hear the minor hustle of the people in the backstage areas, but it would never stop being crazy to me how loud it got in here during the show.

Suddenly I heard soft footsteps approaching and what felt like a shadow over me. I opened my eyes, and hovering over me was Harry.

"Well hello Maggie."

I smiled softly, "Hi Harry, I can get out of your way."

"No, no it's fine. Just wanted to see the stage," he looked around then back at me, "Mind if I join you actually?"

"Nope, come on down."

He smiled and layed next to me. I took a deep breath and turned to look at him, "You must think I'm so strange."

"No actually, I'm guessing you like the different views each stage brings." He turned and looked at me.

I felt myself smile big and bit my lip, "Yeah actually, and to see what you see. My plan is to be on the catwalk tomorrow."

"Well maybe I'll meet you there."

"See about that, this is normally my downtime before the madness, today is a special invitation."

"Ahhh, got it. I'll put in my request." He chuckled softly.

We layed in silence for a couple minutes before I spoke softly, "It's insane that you literally fill all of these seats, you know that right?"

"What's insane, is I really thought I wouldn't be able to do it myself."

I turned and looked at him, "Well kid, you did."

We smiled softly at each other, before reality set in and I groaned softly, "Uhh, well sir, my boss will probably be walking in here to remind me about sound check so, I gotta get up."

I started standing up, and he got up quickly before me, holding out his hand for me. I took it and got up, smiling at him, "Thank you."

"You're welcome."

I heard someone clearing their throat and I turned to see Charles at the bottom of the walkway.

"Gotta go," I said softly to Harry, walking quickly over to Charles.

When I got to the bottom of the stairs I noticed he had slipped his Love On Tour shirt over his collared shirt and couldn't help but smile. He hated stuff like this, but he was trying.

"The shirt doesn't look bad Charlie, I promise." I smiled at him,

"Yeah yeah, come on let's go take our seats and time this out."

The sound check went by smoothly and I wrote down that it would probably take them thirty to forty five minutes each night. I was now in Harry's dressing room placing a mobile order for Harry's food while on the phone with my sister on speaker.

"Maggie, are you sure you told Anita I need to be at the barricade."

"Yes Becca, I promise you will get the barricade, just please don't give Anita a hard time okay?"

"I never give people a hard time."

"Well you are giving me a hard time right now."

"Okay, okay, sorry. Soooo, have you met him yet? Is he perfect?"

"He's nice."

"That's really all you're giving me?! Nice."

I sighed and looked over my shoulder, "He's got the most gorgeous eyes, Becks. Literally green and blue at the same time."

My sister squealed over the phone and I quickly lowered the volume on the speaker.

"I'm so jealous!!! Oh my gosh wait, do you know what songs he's singing at certain parts of the stage?"

I heard the door begin to open behind me and I hit confirm on Harry's order taking my phone off speaker.

"No Becca, I don't know where he's singing each song, but I really gotta go."

"Maggie, wait! But. If I don't know where I want to be."

"Becca, you're getting to be at the freaking barricade, I don't know where he sings the songs, don't give Anita a hard time about it either. I gotta go, have fun tonight, you know where to meet me after. Love you."

I hung up my phone before she could say another word, I heard Harry chuckle behind me.

"I can show you where I sing everything."

I turned around quickly, turning bright red, "No, no, I'm sorry about that. I don't normally take personal calls, my sister is just here for tonight's show and I needed to check on her."

"Maggie, you're fine, really I can write it out for you. You for certain have a map of the stage by now in that binder of yours, don't you."

I looked down at my binder, and chuckled softly, "Yeah I do actually."

"Alright then let me see it."

I took a deep breath walking over and opening up to the stage map picture. He began writing the songs out for me one by one at different places on the stage.

"What's your sister's name?"

"Becca," I said smiling, as I saw what he wrote next.

For Becca, Love Harry Styles. Please stop giving your sister a hard time, I really need my lunch here on time.

He placed his signature below and winked at me, "There ya go."

I laughed a little and shook my head, "Thank you Harry, really I'm sorry again. Your food should be here in twenty minutes."

"Maggie." he said softly.

"Yeah?"

"Stop apologizing." He laughed a little and I nodded my head.

"I'm just going to go now, have a great show."

"Thank you," he said, smiling at me.

I walked out shaking my head as my cheeks felt pink, sending the picture of the map to my sister.

Never tell me I don't do nice things for you.
