Thursday comes by quickly and my sister and I are getting ready in my apartment. I've made mocktails and the frozen taquitos we love.

Becca is sitting on the floor in front of my closet mirror finishing her makeup as I walk up behind her analyzing myself in the mirror. Becca has picked out my outfit and I felt like a totally different person. I had a yellow strapless crop top with a sequined sun on the front and a pair of light wash flare jeans with different patches of light wash denim sewed onto them. I had straightened my hair and wore light face makeup, but a lot of my favorite blush.

"You look good Mags." She smiled at me, as she popped on some lip gloss, "The yellow makes you look even happier than I know you are."

I can't help but roll my eyes as I turn back to my bed to grab my tiny clutch and put everything I need inside. I make sure the backstage passes are in there.

"Well I'm ready whenever you are."

"I just need to pee before we go." She says standing up and running to my bathroom. Her purple glitter dress leaving remnants behind it.

I sit on my bed and pop on my chunky white sandals, then grab my phone and text Harry.

M: We are on our way in five minutes :)

H: Can't wait.

We played the Fine Line album the whole way to the concert and all the songs that used to be background noise to me all of a sudden felt really important. I surprised myself by knowing more words than I thought.

"You know I'm going to have to thank Harry tonight." Becca smiled.

"For getting you backstage when I couldn't?"

"Well yeah that," she smiled at me as I drove, "But for getting you to finally sing these songs with me."

I laughed at her and she joined in.

We pulled into the artist loading and the valet took my car. I walked around and handed my sister her backstage pass and we both placed them around my neck.

As we walked in we bumped into Roger and I couldn't help but laugh as he whistled at me, "Okay Maggie, you look good!" He said hugging me and I blushed,

"Thanks Roger."

"Hi Becca," he smiled, hugging her, "I haven't seen you since last year! When did you get tall?"

"It's the shoes, don't let it trick you." She laughed.

"Maggie, Anita said to find her before you go to Harry's room."

"Got it. See you later Rog!"

We walked away and I looked at my watch. Anita should be near the band's dressing rooms so we made our way in that direction.

We found her as she walked out of Mitch's dressing room, "Hi Nita!"

She turned and looked at me with a big smile on her face, "Oh my gosh you both look so cute!! Mags, you match Harry, not even lying."

My eyes widened a bit, "Shut up?"

"I'm serious, kinda cute." She laughed before turning to hug Becca, "Hey Becca, can I show you where you're going to be tonight, while your sister says hi to Harry?"

"Anita it's okay she can come with me."

She looks at me, "He asked to talk to you before the show in private."

"Oh, okay. Is that fine Becca?"

She nodded, turning to Anita, "Come on weirdo, show me to my throne."

Anita rolled her eyes at me before turning to walk away with Becca.

I turned and made my way to his dressing room, knocking on the door as I got there.

"Come in!" I heard him say and I opened the door.

Anita wasn't lying, he was wearing a yellow shirt, with a yellow sequined HS on the front, and dark wash flared jeans.

"Copycatter." I said teasing him.

He smiled and walked over to me as I leaned on the food cabinet, he placed his hands softly on my waist, the touch of his skin on mine warmed my body.

"Am I too forward in saying that I missed you today." He smiled at me, speaking softly.

"No, at least I don't mind it." I said softly back.

He looked so happy, but as he took a deep breath, his eyes saddened a bit, "I need to talk to you about something?"

"What about?" As I spoke I heard the door open, and standing in the doorway, was Olivia.

"About that." he whispered to me softly before pushing away from me, holding my gaze before looking away. The skin where his hands were at,felt so cold immediately after.

"Sorry am I interrupting something?" She said, her lips pressed into a small smile.

"No, I was just leaving," I turned to Harry, "I'm going to find Becca and Anita."

I pushed off of the cabinet and made my way to the door. Before I passed Olivia, she extended her hand out to me, "I'm Olivia."

I took her hand, shaking it, "Maggie." We let go and I made my way to the door.

"I'll tell you when to bring your sister Maggie," I heard Harry call out.

I turned to face him and nodded, giving him a half smile before leaving to find Anita.

When I walked out into the hall, I found Anita and Becca talking to Charles. I took a deep breath trying to hide any disappointment on my face before approaching them,

"Hey guys." I half smiled.

"Hey Maggie, I haven't seen you in yellow in a while." Charles smiled at me.

"I know, not since I would wear that yellow cardigan everyday to work even though I wasn't supposed to." I laughed a little.

Charles looked at me then Anita. I could feel his eyes asking her to check on me.

"You okay Mags?" Anita asked me and I hugged Becca.

"Yeah, I'm fine, just waiting on Harry to say Becca can meet him." I try to smile a bit bigger, but I know Anita and Charles aren't convinced.

Becca looks at me, hugging me back tightly, "Hey Mags, can we go get food really quick. I'm hungry. Just some fries."

"Yeah let's go," I look up at Charles and Anita, "I'll see you both later."

As we walked off, Becca held my hand and I said softly so only she could hear, "Olivia's here."

"Oh," she said, nodding, squeezing my hand tighter.

We have an hour before the show when Harry texts me to come back to his room with Becca. We make our way and I can tell Becca is having mixed feelings because I'm still a bit disappointed about Olivia being here.

I stop her midway, and step in front of her, talking so only she can hear me, "Listen Becca. I don't want to ruin this moment for you, okay? Just act like you would if you were meeting him and none of this was happening. I knew this was complicated, he warned me. I just need to get my head out of my own ass. Okay? I need you to enjoy this moment."

She smiles nodding at me, "I love you Mags."

"I love you too, now come on, let's not waste the time we have left."

We finish our walk to the room, and I open the door without knocking. Inside are more people than I would have wanted. Anita is cleaning up Harry and it looks like Olivia's food, Charles is sitting on the couch talking to Olivia. Harry looks at me, apology written all over his eyes, but I divert my eye contact, before looking back and introducing Becca.

"Harry, this is my sister Becca." I smile as she hides her face and he laughs.

"Give me a second, I swear I can be normal."

He laughs and walks over to her, pulling her in by her shoulder, and hugging her, "You're fine."

I smile, because there it is. That relaxing aura, the comfort he just naturally brings.

I'm so caught up in their moment, that I don't hear at first when Charles calls me over.

"Maggie?" I finally turned to him.

"Oh I'm sorry, I didn't hear you." I smiled, turning to him, and walking slightly closer, "What's up?"

"I wanted to introduce you to Harry's girlfriend, Olivia."

The words sting, more than I know they should. Harry's just my friend. I know this, just my friend. I maintain my smile, not letting anything else show on my face.

"I met her earlier."

"Oh that's great. Maggie is my best worker here." He smiled proudly at me, and I shook my head.

"He says that only when I'm around." I smirk playfully at Charles.

"Mags, come here, I want a picture of the three of us!" Becca calls and I excuse myself walking over and standing next to Becca.

"No stand on the other side of Harry, let him be in the middle."

"This is my better side, Becks, it's fine." I smile, knowing I can't handle being next to him right now.

After she snaps the selfie I take her phone, "Get together you two, let me get another one of you two."

They smiled and made funny faces and I watched as Harry began to crack jokes with her. I found myself laughing as well, and it felt good. So I let it happen.

"Wait, can I try and fit into your box?" Becca asked and Harry nodded, quickly adding a why not.

"We will be right back." Harry said to Charles and Olivia, as he grabbed Becca's hand, and she grabbed mine pulling me quickly out with them.

They kept running as we were in the hall, leading to where we stored the box he was rolled out in.

Once we got there, Becca turned to Harry, "Okay, I got you both here, so imma go pretend to be trapped in the box while you guys talk."

I widened my eyes at both of them, and Harry chuckled at my face as Becca winked at me, making herself busy.

"Sorry Maggie, I didn't know how else to get you alone."

"It's fine Harry." I watched Becca opening up Harry's box and getting in.

"It's not Maggie, I didn't know she was coming today, she told Jeff she wanted to surprise me."

"As your girlfriend should be able to." I said, still not making eye contact with him.

"She's not my girlfriend."

"Does she know that?" I say finally to turn and look at him, "I won't be made a fool of Harry."

"I'm not making a fool of you Maggie. I swear, I wouldn't make a fool of you, knowing you could get fired. I genuinely want to get to know you. Even if you want nothing more than friendship with me. You've been like a breath of fresh air for me. I know it's only been a week, but that's my point. It's been a week and I literally find myself trying to find a reason to have you come to my dressing room."

I turned away from him biting my lip, "Then why is she calling herself your girlfriend Harry."

"Because, for the media she is right now. I've been trying to space myself from her this past month, which is why she surprised me today. She wants more than just the publicity of it, but I don't."

"Okay."

"Maggie, I really need you to beli—Harry I said okay."

I turned to look at him then over at Becca, "Come on Becks, let's start heading out to the arena."

I turned around not waiting for Becca. As I walked off I heard Becca say to Harry, "Just give her time, okay? She's weird and does this thing where she has to break down everything in her head. She'll come around."

"Becca, come on." I called out to her while still walking, but she was right, I needed to process all of this.
