I walk into my apartment and I'm on some weird form of cloud nine that I can't get off of. I take a look around my apartment, and there are open chip bags on the coffee table, and a half eaten pizza box on my kitchen counter.

"Becca." I whisper to myself as I make my way to my room.

I open my bedroom door, and there she is, on my bed, in my sweats eating popcorn and watching a movie.

"Why are you so messy? Everywhere you go. Does mom know you're here?"

She rolls her eyes pausing the movie, "I'll clean up, and yes I told her I was staying here."

"Why are you staying here?" I raise an eyebrow at her.

"Ew, rude. Because I love my sister that's why. Jesus."

"And the real reason?" I say sitting on the bed and taking off my heels, tying up my hair into a bun.

She crawls over and lays on her stomach next to me, "I wanted to know about the date before Anita."

"Bingo," I say, pushing her head softly as I get up and walk over to my drawer getting out underwear and clothes to change into, "I'll tell you after my shower."

"Maggie come on! Tell me now!"

I can't help but laugh as I head out to shower.

When I come out of the shower back into my room I'm fully dressed and Becca is laying on her back staring at the ceiling. I crawl into bed next to her and poke her cheek.

She turns to face me and props her head up on her hand, leaning on her elbow, "Soooo, how was it?"

"Horrible."

She pushes herself up, sitting cross legged facing me, "Shut up, what happened? Are you okay?"

I laugh a little, "It went horribly well, Becks."

I try to smile, but I can't.

"Then why the sad face?"

I bite my lip, "Because nothing can happen. At least not now. And there is still the whole Olivia thing. I'm not going to be someone's second, or side."

She nods her head softly, "Did he kiss you?"

I laugh softly, "No, but he held my hands, kinda, for a little. And we hugged."

"How are you living my fantasy? You don't even like him." She falls back on her back next to me.

"Well, I like him now. Well at least the Harry I'm getting to know."

She stays quiet for a bit before taking a deep breath, "I don't want you to get hurt though. I don't like that his explanation for Olivia was that it's complicated."

"I know. I'll talk to him about it eventually," I played with my comforter before whispering, "He asked me about dad."

She turned her head towards me, "What did you say?"

"Nothing, I had brought something up to him a couple days ago, about mom and her saying that we prayed his looks away. So I think he thought I would say more."

"Ahhh, got it. But he doesn't have Charles' level of trust yet."

I laughed a little, because she was right. After everything with my dad, Charles was the first man to be able to gain my trust. He helped my family when we were in need, and never asked for anything in return. I watched as he took care of my mom and sister, and I swore to myself, I would forever owe everything to him.

"That's true, first man after dad that I actually trusted. Weirdly though, Harry has this aura about him that makes you feel so comfortable and relaxed. I can't explain it."

"If you let me meet him I would understand."

"Okay, so you can let me know after Thursday night if you get it then."

"Okay, I will!"

It takes her a moment to process what I said, and then she quickly pops up, "Wait what do you mean after Thursday night?!"

I laugh, "Well I have to make sure Charles gives me the night off, but if he does, we will be hanging out backstage with Harry, and you get to watch the concert again. Can't promise barricade, it's wherever Harry puts us, probably in the back, in the friends and family area."

"Maggie!!!" She leaps over and hugs me, "Wait I cannot right now! Shut up."

I can't help but laugh at my sister as I hug her back.

"Breakfast tomorrow and shopping? I've seen how you all dress for the concerts and I have nothing like that."

"Deal." She smiles back at me.

I felt like Tuesday couldn't come quick enough. I got up at 9 and began to get ready. I wore my usual black Zara bodysuit but opted for my favorite black Levi's instead of my cargo pants. I added some curls to my hair and popped on a soft rose lipstick and a wing liner. I kept pushing the thought out of my mind that I was dressing for Harry, but I knew I was. Deep down, I wanted to have his gaze linger on me like it did at dinner.

I shake the thought from my head as chills fill my body and I begin making my way out the door.

I arrive at the Forum and make my way to the office. Everyone's "Hello Maggie" and "You look great Maggie" have me feeling extra wired. I push my key to unlock the door and it's already open.

That's weird? Maybe Anita?

I push the door open slowly peeking in, and no one is there; but on my desk sits a beautiful arrangement of yellow and white daisies. I quickly walk over, not bothering to close the door behind me and open the card leaning against the vase.

I can't meet you on stage today, but I hope these brighten your day. Don't miss me too much, which I know it's hard, because it's me.

PS. Don't roll your eyes.

X, Harry.

I roll my eyes and laugh, "Smug ass." I say to myself.

"Who's a smug ass?"

I jump as Charles speaks, catching me off guard, "Oh, my sister. She sent me flowers to thank me for the other night. But you know Becca, has to be a smart ass about it."

I quickly open my drawer, dropping the card and envelope inside.

"Sounds like Rebecca." He presses his lips into a smile, "So I got your text about wanting Thursday off?"

I sit at my chair, and swallow hoping that his face doesn't do what I know it's going to do, "Yeah, Harry asked me if I would like to watch the show and hang backstage, you know like Billie did. He said I could bring Becca, so I'm really hoping to make it happen."

I bite my lip softly, analyzing Charles' face, which is hard because he's showing no emotion at all.

"That's fine, just prepare Anita and Roger to run the house that day."

"Thanks Charlie." I smile big at him.

"Of course. I'm going to be off site today, I have a meeting with Jeff and Harry. His band is going to run soundcheck without him. He'll do a small one when we get back."

Well, that explains it.

"Okay, sounds good. Text me if you need anything. Oh so does that mean no lunch order for Harry, or you?"

"No, we will be eating out."

"Okay Charlie, I got it covered."

He nods and turns on his heel to walk out. He holds the door and takes a deep breath, "You look extremely beautiful today Mags. You look happy."

I can't help but turn beet red. Part bashfulness, and part pity and guilt, "Thank you."

I swallow as he walks out the door, closing it behind him.

God, I wish I could love you that way Charlie.

I am finishing up my rounds in the dressing room hallway when I see Harry and Charles making their way towards me. Harry looks upset. His eyebrows are pushed together and his shoulders look tense. Charles looks, well like Charles, ready for work.

Harry and I make eye contact, and I see his shoulders relax slightly, "Uh, Maggie, can I update my rider with you please?"

"Yeah, that's fine, I think I left my binder in there anyways."

Charles walks past me squeezing my shoulder softly, "Everything looks great Mags."

"Thanks Charlie." I smiled before walking into Harry's room.

"Can you lock the door?" He asks quietly and I nod reaching behind me to lock it.

"Are you okay? You look,...upset."

He sits on the couch and rubs his eyes, laying his forehead on his palms, "Not really."

I walk over and sit next to him, I hesitate, before bringing my hand to his back, rubbing it softly, "What's wrong?"

"They extended the residency."

"Oh." I said removing my hand from his back. I turn to face the door and bite my lip.

"I didn't want to, I'm tired, but Jeff and Charles were very optimistic about it. So, I agreed."

I nodded, looking down, "How much longer are they extending it for?"

"Another two weeks."

"That's not too bad. Right?"

He turned and looked at me, "Are you still standing strong on following all the rules?"

I inhale sharply, "Harry, please."

He shakes his head, "It's fine Maggie, just, don't mind me. I'm just frustrated is all."

I stare at him quietly. His eyes moving from left to right as if he's chasing his own thoughts.

"Thank you for the flowers." I whisper.

He looks up at me and smiles slightly, "Did you like them?"

"Yeah, brightened my day. Also, Charlie gave me Thursday off, for the concert."

He smiled a little bigger, "Good. Just get yourself back here and I'll handle everything else."

I nod, and bite my lip, "Harry. We...we will figure this out. But, if I'm going to try and figure this out. I need to know about Olivia."

He freezes slightly, and that tension in his shoulders is back, "Okay. Just, not today, okay?"

"Okay. I better get back out there, you have to do your sound check before we let everyone in."

I get up and make my way towards the door, and I hear him stand up. I swear he only takes two steps and his hand is on the small of my back.

"Maggie."

I turn to face him, "Yeah Harry."

"You look beautiful today."

I feel my body ignite and I breathe to stop my blush, "Thank you Harry."

I watch as he analyzes my face, and that feeling of being too close takes over me again, and I give him one last smile before turning and unlocking the door. He removes his hand from my back and walks back to the couch as I walk out.
