"Yeah, this is Mark's old room. He owns the place," Craig explained to them as they walked into the small room. It had a bed, some cupboards and a big mirror, along with a very extravagant orange wallpaper. "Moved outabout a month ago. This uncle he'd never even heard of died and left aload of money in the will," Craig continued as the Doctor tested the bed's resistance, for some reason, bounging his upped body on it a couple of times.

"How very conviniant," the Doctor commented. "This will do just right, in fact--"

He was cut off by a crashing sound that came from upstairs. The Doctor very gently licked his own finger before testing the air with it.

"No time to lose," the Doctor said, sharing a look with Nina. "I'll take it--"

"He means; we'd love to stay, If you'd take us, Craig," Nina rephrased it. She didn't blame the Doctor for acting weird; he didn't know what weird was for humans. She didn't, however, wan't Craig to kick them out of the flat right as they arrived.

"Yes, what she said," The Doctor agreed, knowing Nina had much more experience with human interaction than he did. "Are you hungry?" He suddenly asked Nina and Craig. "I'm hungry," he said, and then proceeded to walk himself to the kitchen.

"I haven't got anything in," Craig warned him.

"I've got everything I need," the Doctor told him as he opened the fridge and pulled out three eggs and some butter. "For an omelet," he said in a weird french accent. "Fines herbes, pour trois."

"Please don't ever do that again," Nina complained about the accent with a laugh. "Need any help?" she offered.

"I need you to rest," was his answer. "Both of you. Go and sit. Wait for the final product. Won't be long, I promise. Who's the girl on the fridge?" The Doctor asked without even looking at the fridge. Nina and Craig turned to look at it.

"Oh, it's the girl from the car earlier," Nina realised.

"Yeah, it's my friend Sophie," Craig said as the Doctor added pepper and salt to the eggs.

"Friend?" Nina asked with furrowed brows, remembering Craig saying some things earlier that one doesn't usually say to a 'friend'.

"A friend who is a girl. There's nothing going on," Craaig tried to convince her.

"Works for me," the Doctor accepted. Nina frowned. What exactly did he mean, 'works for me'? Was he simply alright with the fact that Sophie was only a friend of Craig's? Was he insinuating that he too had a friend that was a girl and there was nothing going on? Nina didn't know what to say when Craig turned to her with the same look of confusion on his face.

"I said kind of, didn't I?" she mumbled to the man, who gave her a sympathetic look.

"So, what do you do, Craig?" The Doctor continued asking questions, not even noticing the exchange of looks and words that had happened between the other two.

"Uh, I work at a call center," he answered.

"Communications!" The Doctor exclaimed. "That could be handy," he said, sending a look towards Nina, who forced a smile. Had he not been so busy trying not to burn the eggs, he would have maybe realised that she had forced it.

"Firm's going down though. The bosses are using a totally rubbishbusiness model. I know what they should do. I got a plan all workedout. But I'm just a phone drone, I can't go running in saying I knowbest. Why am I telling you this? I don't even know you," Craig finished with a weird smile on his face.

"Well, I've got one of those faces. People never stop blurtingout their plans while I'm around," was the Doctor's explanation.

"Well, where's your stuff?" Nina was about to tell a smart excuse about how it got lost in between flights and should be arriving soon, but the Doctor was faster.

"Don't worry, it'll materialize soon enough if it all goes to plan."
