I stretch my arms in the tux, attempting to loosen it and get comfortable, when Noah hands me a red solo cup with a little bit of dark liquid. Knowing him, it's probably whiskey. Blake gathers the rest of the groomsmen around in a circle and raises his cup. We all follow suit as he looks at me, beginning his best man speech.

"I never thought this day would come for the playboy in our friend group, but I knew the minute Lexi walked through our house in college that Mason was fucked." Blake says, getting a round of laughs out of the group.

"In all seriousness, Mason, Lexi makes you a better man and a better person. I hope we can all find a love like yours. To Lexi and Mason."

"To Lexi and Mason." we all say then clink our cups and drink up. I should feel nervous right now but I'm oddly calm. I wish I could've seen Lexi this morning, but her bridesmaids insisted it's bad luck to see the groom before she walks down the aisle. I hope she remembers to eat breakfast and drink some water. I'd feel better if Gia texted me an update confirming that she has in fact done both.

Our photographer comes in to finish taking our 'after' pictures of getting ready and I'm tempted to ask her how Lexi's doing. I know my girl, she's probably nervous and freaking out a little.

I'm freaking out a little. I've barely eaten, I feel like my makeup is too heavy, and I really want five minutes to be alone. But most of all, I want to see Mason.

"Mom I just need five minutes." I whisper, as the hair stylist continues to curl my hair. I hate being center of attention and today feels like a never-ending spotlight that is permanently fixated on me. I could crawl out of my skin I'm so uncomfortable.

"Wait until your hair is done sweetie. Your dad has a surprise for you." my mom whispers back.

She's gotten a little older from helping me plan this wedding in eight months. After Mason proposed in February at the beach, we decided we didn't want a long engagement. We settled on mid-October in case the Dodgers won the World Series, but they didn't. They lost in the divisional around, but the team made a ton of improvement this season. I didn't want a wedding planner, nobody is as Type-A as me, so I enlisted the help of my mom and sisters. Naturally, I made them co-maid of honors because how else would I decide between my two sisters? Alongside them are Brooke, Gia, and Kaylee, my best friends in the world.

I wait another fifteen minutes while the stylist finishes curling my hair, adding extensions to make my dark locks look even longer, and pinning back my first two layers. I don't want anything to stand between me and my dinner plate later. She sprays what feels like an entire can of hairspray on my curls to keep them from falling out before spinning me around and letting me look at myself in the mirror.

My breath catches as I look at the girl in the mirror. She's beautiful. Tears well up in my eyes which I aggressively blink back so I don't ruin my makeup.

"You look lovely honey." My dad says, not holding back his tears. He swipes at them then holds out his hand to help me out of my chair. "Let's get out of here for a little bit."

I take his hand and follow him out of the room, pulling my white robe tighter. He leads me down the hall, past the room our ceremony is going to take place in, and out onto the terrace that overlooks the ocean. I can already breathe a little easier being outside and smelling in the salty air. At the end of the terrace sits a table for two, complete with a few bagels, muffins, and fresh fruit. A massive pitcher of water sits in the middle of the table with a little white sign that says "Mr and Mrs".

"What's all this?" I ask, turning towards my dad. Did he plan this for us? To have one last daddy-daughter date?

"Your groom was worried you wouldn't eat today and that you'd be nervous. I helped him put it together this morning and reassured him I could get you out of the bridal suite for a little bit." he says, releasing a few more tears. "A good man is all I've ever wanted for you Alexis. Someone who will remember all the little details and make you feel loved everyday."

I swallow the lump of emotion in my throat and thank myself for asking for waterproof makeup. "Dad I love him so much, but you were the first man I loved and will always love."

"Taking second place to your dad is something my ego can handle." a voice says from behind me. I spin around and see my groom standing next to the table, holding out a chair. "Like you said, my ego is big enough."

"I'll give you two some alone time. I'll be back in twenty minutes or everyone will notice you're gone." my dad says, squeezing my hand. "Well they'll notice Alexis is gone, nobody really notices the groom anyway."

Mason laughs and nods his head. "Especially when she's as stunning as Lexi. Thank you for getting her here."

When my dad leaves, I run straight into Mason's arms. "I missed you. I needed this."

He catches me, like he always does, and press a kiss on my head. "I know you did. If we eat quick enough, we can probably sneak in a quickie behind that bush."

I roll my eyes and swat at his arm. "I swear you're always thinking about sex."

He helps me into my chair before taking his own. "A man can try can't he?"

I spoon a heapful of fruit onto my plate and dive into the cinnamon raisin bagel. "So what's it like in your suite?"

He unwraps a muffin, never breaking our eye contract, before taking a bite. "Oh you know, everyone telling me I only get to have sex with one chick for the rest of my life, telling me how whipped I am, the usual."

My mouth falls open and the blueberry bounces off my lip and onto the plate. "Are you serious."

He howls, his poker face breaking immediately. "No I'm not serious. Blake gave a great speech about how I fell in love with you the first time we hung out and how our love conquers all."

I tilt my head, not willing to be fooled a second time. "Did he really say that?"

He grins. "Something along those lines."

We eat the entire plate of bagels and fruit, leaving one muffin left before my dad comes back to steal me away. I hug him, but dodge his kiss, wanting our real first kiss today to be as husband and wife. My dad leads me back into the bridal suite where Kaylee and Gia are fighting over which song to play next while my sisters are tending to my niece, who agreed to be flower girl. Only Brooke gives me a questioning look, clearly worried where I disappeared to. I give her a reassuring smile and she grins back and winks, knowing who exactly stole me away.

I clear my throat and hold my hands in front of me as the procession begins to play 'here comes the bride'. I look down when the doors at the end of the hall start to open. This is it. She's going to be in a white dress and when we walk out of here, we're going to have the same last name.

I take a deep breath and look up, when my breath gets knocked out of me. She's gorgeous. Her dress fits her like a glove, starting up top where her breasts are concealed enough that it's considered classy. White, lacy delicate sleeves hang on the biceps of her arms and her dress flows out past her waist. For a second, I think I can see straight through her dress and panic rises inside me until she walks further down and I notice it's just an illusion. Finally, my eyes land on her deep baby blues and I melt. The tears start rolling down my cheeks as this stunning woman continues to walk towards me, taking deep breaths of her own.

After what feels like the longest wait of my life, her and her dad reach me. He offers me her arm, which she happily takes before kissing her dad on the cheek. He leans into my and whispers, "Be good to her."

I nod him, knowing I would do anything for this girl. "Forever."

I help her up the small set of stairs when Mia comes over to grab her bouquet of flowers. She turns towards me and I turn towards her and grab her hands. The preacher begins his monologue but all I can think about is Lexi. How amazing she is, how perfect she looks, and how I can't wait to tear this dress off of her. I'm going to carry her into the hotel room then start kissing her before moving to the sensitive spot on her neck. Once she's feeling a little frisky, I'm going to slowly unzip her dress and slide it down her body before landing on me knees and diving head first in between her.....

"Now it's time for the reading of the vows. Mason, you can go first." the preacher says, breaking me out of my thoughts. Fuck I hope I don't have a boner.

I pull out my printed out vows and hold them in my shaking hands. "Lexi, I always thought I was difficult to love between my upbringing and my profession. I never thought a woman would want to share me with baseball or stick by me when I had such a twisted conception of love. But you walked through my door and changed all of it. You keep me line, altered my view on what love is. Love is giving someone a second chance even when they don't deserve it. Love is being patient and reminding that person why you love them. Love is open communication and talking in bed until the wee hours of the morning."

She sniffles, tears rolling down her face, and I hope she has waterproof makeup on. She squeezes my hand and urges me to continue. "I have to pinch myself to make sure this is real, that I'm truly standing here about to marry the love of my life and my best friend. I will love you in sickness and in health, rich or poor, and with or without white cheddar popcorn in the house. I will cherish you, respect you, and love you until the day we die, yes we, because the second we are without the each other, both of our hearts will die inside. Only until our souls can rest peacefully together will we be completely whole again."

Lexi swipes at her cheeks and coughs to clear her throat. "I love you so much." she says and tries to kiss me which I successfully dodge while our friends and family laugh.

"Let's wait to do this kissing until we are husband and wife or else we have to start all over again." the preacher jokes and Lexi turns bright red.

"I'm sorry, his vows were just so good I forgot the rules." she says sweetly, and it takes everything in me not to reach over and kiss her. She's the best.

"Your turn now Lexi." the preacher says, gesturing for her to start.

She turns towards Ella who hands her a white piece of paper with her handwritten vows. One-upping me on the romance scale as always.

"Mason...." she starts.

"From the moment you stole my phone to put your number in I thought you were crazy. We did not have that from the moment I saw you, I loved you. No our love grew over the hours and days we spent together getting to know each other. Like a tree, our love took time to grow and take root but when it did, it flourished. But like every changing season, our love was pruned back and we took a pause to discover who we are as individual people before growing together again."

Mason's eyes are shining with love and fresh tears that he's trying so hard to hold back. I squeeze his hand and smile, hoping he'll just let them fall. There's nothing sexier than a vulnerable man.

"I enter into this life with you without reservation, without fear or confusion, but with a clear and trusting heart. Everything will work out because we'll be together. I vow to love you as you love me, through all hardship, darkness, and pain to reach for our joys, our hopes, and always with honesty and faith. I love you for you."

By the end of our vows there isn't a dry eye in the room and when the preacher says "You may kiss the bride", Mason sweeps me into his arms and kisses me as if we're the only two people in the room.

I inhale my plate of food at the reception and look at my wife who is shoving her face as quickly as I am. "Boy am I glad you convinced me to do the buffet over a plated meal. I'm starving." I say, wiping my mouth with a fancy red napkin. "I'm going to get more. Do you want me to fix you a plate?"

She nods, her eyes screaming for more. "Yes, please get me more of that amazing little bread with tomatoes thing and honestly just fill the plate."

I laugh and head up for more. I fill my plater with breaded chicken, pasta, steamed broccoli, and the bread Lexi was talking about then fill her plate to the brim. On my way back, I stop and say hi to Carly from the MLB Times. Her date beside her looks a little infatuated with all of the professional athletes in the room and a little drunk. After exchanging a few insider stories with her, I head back to Lexi.

"You got me three pieces?!" she squeals. "Damn I love you." She takes the plate and begins putting extra cheese on her pasta, moaning a little.

"Baby you have to stop making those noises or I will take you right here right now." I whisper into her ear.

Her legs clench in response and her moans cease for the rest of the meal. We cut the cake and contrary to what my groomsmen bet, I did not smash any cake in her face or her hair. Why would I want to ruin a perfectly good piece of cake AND piss of my bride? Come on fellas.

I dance with my mom to a slow Rascal Flatts song then Lexi and her dad dance to a sad as hell daddy-daughter song. Finally, I get to sweep her back into my arms and take our first dance to whatever song she picked. She places her head on my chest and I swear I'm in heaven.

"This is completely unnecessary." I protest, as Mason scoops me into his arms and carries me through the doorway of our hotel room. Or should I say suite because this place is massive. In true Mason romance fashion, there's already pre-lit candles, rose petals on the bed, and white lights strung around the room. A bottle of champagne is chilling on ice and it looks like room service was just delivered.

"Do you want to eat first or should I just rip you out of this dress?" he asks, nuzzling my neck. Is that even a question? I've been horny ever since he started whispering filthy things in my ear over dinner.

"I'll kill you if you rip my dress but I want you to see what's underneath." I answer, winking.

That's all it takes for him to snap. He grabs the back of my head and smashes our lips together, the contact swallowing my next breath. His hands are everywhere searching for the zipper until he finds it along the side and slowly drags it down my body. He breaks the kiss, sliding the material from my arms to my sides, then slides the entire dress down my body. He takes a step back, letting out a low whistle, drinking me in.

"God damn baby, you're perfect." he groans, stepping back towards me, his fingers hooking into my white lacy thong.

His eyes gaze into mine with so much love I think I'm going to explode. I need him to touch me right now. Instead, he takes his time, getting on his knees and pulling my panties down with him. I place my hands on his shoulders while he helps me step out of them. He hands grab my waist, pulling me into him while his face disappears in between my legs. This has become regular and I'm not complaining one bit.

I grab his head for balance as the first orgasm spreads through me. His tongue works my clit to the edge but he pulls back before letting me tumble over. He moves his lips from my clit to my inner leg while his fingers run the length of my legs. It's sweet, it's intimate, and it makes me wetter than I've ever been. After he takes me for a second time, my knees wobble, giving out on me.

He steadies me, his hands digging into my hips so hard I'm sure I'll have marks tomorrow. "Get on the bed Mrs. Young." he commands, his bedroom voice sending shivers up my spine.

I climb on the bed, my butt hitting the sheets and peer up at him, giving him my best innocent look. He winks at me before his hands land on either side of my face and his knee knocks into mine, asking for access. I spread my legs, my heart pounding in my chest over the anticipation.

"So beautiful." he murmurs before lining up his dick with my opening. He plunges in, not giving me a second to adjust and the connection hurts but feels good at the
