3rd Person

(Y/N) was a 'special' child. She couldn't handle her emotions, and sometimes wouldn't be able to stop her tears, her hyper-ness, or her anxiousness. There were also times when she could hold a grudge for more than a month unless you find a way to make her forgive you. This was the main reason her parents abandoned her, but of course this was not the fault of the young girl.

(Y/N) lived on the streets for about two years. At that time, she was only around four years old. She was crying as she sat in her makeshift home, which was actually just a few soggy boxes. Though it wasn't much, it kept her protected from the weather, and so (Y/N) was grateful. But that didn't stop her tears. She couldn't help it; she wouldn't be able to stop crying even if she wanted to.

'Why did they have to leave me here?' She asked herself as she slowly fell asleep.

Meanwhile, a certain blonde freshman was walking pass with a disappointed look on his face.

'Why couldn't mommy join me today?' He sighed.

Then, he heard quiet sobbing coming from the alleyway. His eyes widened, and he hurried towards where the sound was coming from. There he found (Y/N). She had fallen asleep, and was having a nightmare, causing her to cry. The blonde teen cradled her until she stopped crying. Then, he quickly ran back home with the little girl, quite worried for the young girl's well being.

(Y/N)'s POV

As I slowly gained my consciousness, I expected to see my little home of boxes, not a gigantic bed with silky covers. I looked around to see if I could find anyone or anything to give me a clue to where I was or how I got here.

As I was searching, the door I didn't even noticed was there suddenly opened. I squeaked in terror, and hid under the covers of bed. I heard some footsteps, and the blankets were thrown off my tiny figure. I faced my head up to meet a pair of purple eyes. They were a nice color. I then realized the man with the pretty purple eyes was holding a bowl of chicken soup, and as if on cue, my stomach growled. He chuckled, and gave the food to me. I looked at him questionably.

'Is this bowl of delicious-ness for me?'

As if he read my mind, he says, "It's for you, not me, silly. You're the one who's hungry."

I grin widely, and start munching down the soup.

"Thanks a lot, mister!" I exclaim.

"Don't mention it. By the way, the name's Tamaki. What's yours?"

"I'm (Y/N)! It's very nice to meet you Mister Ta-ma-ki!" I pronounce his name slowly.

"Back to you, too." Tamaki winks, "Hey, I have a question, Princess."

"Hm?"

"Where's your parents?"

As soon as I heard those words, my eyes started to water until I began bawling. My tears blurred my vision, and I tried to stop them, but I couldn't. It brought back the memory of my parents leaving me in that alleyway.

-:-Flashback-:-

"Mommy? Daddy? Where are we going?" I asked.

"Just a little somewhere, darling." my mother replies with a sad smile.

"Okay, then."

We continued walking until we reached an alleyway. I saw my mother and father nod their heads to each other.

"(Y/N), your mother and I are going to use the bathroom over there. Okay, sweetie? We'll be right back." my father tells me.

I reply with a "Okay," as I watched them walked away. I waited for a few minutes, actually thinking they were going to come back. Those minutes became hours, but I tried my best to believe they're were just taking really long in the bathroom, or that something came up.

Later on, I finally realized that they weren't coming back. I started to cry, and that became my daily routine. Waiting. Crying. Just hoping for the best.

-:-End of Flashback-:-

I sobbed, and sobbed. I couldn't help it. I never can. Suddenly, I felt a certain someone hug me from behind.

"Shh, don't worry. It's okay," Tamaki says soothingly, patting my head.

I slowly stopped crying as I heard the comforting words coming from the blonde. My eyes drooped as I felt back into the darkness called sleep.

Tamaki's POV

I sigh as I watch (Y/N) sleep peacefully. I couldn't imagine someone's parents abandoning a young child like her. Well, considering my 'situation', maybe it's easy to...never mind.

I had already talked to my father about keeping (Y/N) if she didn't have a guardian, and he agreed. Tomorrow, we will going to bring her to a doctor to make sure she's healthy, and go sign some papers to officially adopt her. I just hope (Y/N) will be okay with this. I just ask her when she wakes up.

A/N: I hope Tamaki wasn't OOC/out of character. It's been a while since I've watched OHSHC. I also hope I didn't offend anyone. Sorry, if I did. *bows* Anyways, hope to see you in the next chapter. :D
