Everly's Pov

"Japan?"

" No."

" England?"

" No."

"Africa?"

" That's a continent idiot." Liam replies with a chuckle. " And no."

" Oh come on Liam. You keep saying no to all my suggestions. At least consider Scotland." I try to reason with him as I look over the map that is spread over the kitchen island.

" You're insane." he chuckes as he flips a pancake on the stove.

I quite happen to like Scotland. He's just being sour because I don't want to go to Japan.

" You're... Fat."

Liam stops what he is doing and throws me an unreadable look.

" Are you hearing yourself?" he questions.

I try not to burst from laughter when I see Liam's expression.

We've been arguing for the past 2 hours about where we are going to live for time being till the heat calms down. Liam clearly doesn't want to go live somewhere else because he's sure that he can keep me safe. But it's not just about me. If I stay here more people will get hurt. But if I move away for a little while then The Snakes will have a hard time catching up to us, which will give Liam and the rest of the D&D's time to plan out the whole attack. Hopefully by that time Chicka and I will be off far away.

I've given up on going back to school as well. As much as I want to finish school like a normal teenager, I'd have to stick to home schooling and online courses.

Curses to The Snakes.

" What about your parents? Won't they be worried about you leaving the country?" Liam tries to reason.

" They stopped caring a long time ago." I admit.

I see Liam's expression drop into a sympathetic one.

" And besides, it's not like we are going to stay there forever. " I reason.

Liam exhales, quite dramatically may I add, before placing a plate of pancakes in front of me.

" Fine... But I get to decide on where we are going."

" We're not going to Japan. We've been through this. " I sigh.

" Fine. Any other suggestions?" he asks defestedly after an intense staring contest.

" Any place besides Japan. " I say as I  get up from my chair and hug Liam around his neck.

Liam's arms wrap around my waist, carefully, to avoid pressure on my bump.

I have to let Alexa know about my plans ahead. She can't really force me to stay either because she knows I have a mind of my own. Even when we were children I was known to be the more stubborn one and Alexa the nicer one. At least I know she will be safe when I leave the country.

Mom and Dad... Well they don't really care about anything besides themselves. All in all, I really don't have a reason to stay here.

After a few minutes of us just holding each other Liam gets a phone call and quickly excuses himself from the room.

With Liam's absence I finish the rest of my pancakes as I look at further options of possible countries. I'm interrupted as Liam returns.

" We are leaving for Ireland in 2 hours." Liam announces when he struds into the room after a while.

" Ireland?" I question him.

" Don't argue with me. Go pack." Liam orders.

" Yes sir yes." I raise my hand with three outstretched fingers and put it against my mouth. Planting a kiss on the outstretched fingers I stretch my arm to indicate the mocking-jay sign and speed off to my room.

I knew we were going to leave soon but not so soon. I at least need two days to figure out what to pack. I don't even know what the weather looks like in Ireland. Is it cold, is it warm? Are there bears running around with fellow human beings? Stop being dramatic.

I'll find out sooner or later.

Two suitcases, three duffle bags and two handbags later, I struggle to get all the bags down the stairs. Midway down the stairs I pause, only to see 5 very amsued expressions.

" What? I have a lot of clothes." I defend myself in front the the D&D's inner-circle.

Liam has been very generous when buying varies items of clothing for me. I tried stopping him from bringing home clothes but after the third time of finding clothes on my bed I stopped arguing and just settled on saying 'thank you' instead. At least he has a good eye when it comes to buying women's clothes.

" That's only your clothes?" Lucas, the mysterious one, questions.

" Yeah, my makeup is still upstairs." I go on.

You can't judge me okay. I have no idea what the weather looks like in Ireland and I'm way too lazy to Google search it.

" Back off the girl. I know the struggle hun. Boys, go fetch the bags." Stella orders the guys.

" Uhm excuse me but we are not dogs." Ryan tries to defend his fellow friends.

I chuckle when I see Stella throwing a death glare towards Ryan. Ryan only smirks while making his way up the stairs. As he walks past me I don't miss the wink he throws in my direction.

Typical Ryan.

Liam also comes up to help Ryan and soon Lucas follows. As Lucas walks up the stairs I take the advantage to give him a good look.

He's definitely candy for the eye. With his dark blond hair that clrealy needs a trim and tanned skin, he does give off a mysterious vibe. How did he even end up in the gang? How did any of them end up in the gang?

When my eyes avert from Lucas's feature, they land on Liam's glaring one's. We still haven't talked about what happened last night and Liam is still distant from me. Or I don't know. He confuses me a lot.

I roll my eyes and make my way up the stairs to grab my makeup bag. It's not massive or anything, but it's quite heavy, seeing as I forced my hair treatments and face treatments into it as well.

" Need some help?" someone asks from behind me making me jump slightly.

I turn around to face Chase.

" Oh-uh no, I'm good thanks." I say awkwardly. This is the first time he's directly talking to me.

He frowns at my stutter before he turns around to walk away again.

" Hey Chase?" I quickly call out before he disappears.

He turns around.

" Can I ask you something?" I question him.

He walks back into the room.

" I just have the feeling that if I say no, you are still going to ask. " Chase implies.

I smile at that because he is, well in deed, correct.

" Why don't you like me? Like I know we've only know each other for a short while and my first impression wasn't that great and-"

" You talk too much. " Chase cuts me off.

Ouch. That hurt. I kinda like it. I like that he is straightforward.

I decide to stay quiet.

" But I don't dislike you Everly. I was just a little... unsure about you. " Chase continues.

" Why unsure? " I ask curiously. He's the mysterious one. I'm supposed to be unsure of him.

I'm an open book for crying out loud. How can he be unsure of me? Unsure about what?

" Liam has been through a lot and I could see that he was growing closer and closer to you every day and that scared me. He-he can't afford to get distracted or hurt now. Not by you, not by anything. Too much is at risk."

I can understand why Liam is a difficult person. He's been betrayed, used and treated like shit by everyone. It kind of warms my heart to know that I could be a distraction for him somehow. But it's definitely not a good thing.

" I understand Chase. " I reply softly. If only he knew that it was probably already too late for Liam not to get hurt because I already hurt him.

I don't miss the warmth that washes over Chase's eyes when he talks about Liam. He really does care for him.

" We good now?" Chase questions when neither of us speaks up.

I nod my head. I'm caught of guard when Chase comes closer and hugs me lightly.

" Just don't hurt him. Please." he whispers into my ear.

He walks out of the room leaving me stunned.

First of all, Chase hugged me, Chase as in ' if you look at me I will kill you' Chase.

" Everly let's go!" I hear Liam yell from downstairs.

" Don't rush me!"

Ireland, here we come.
