Yeonjun~

We got on the plane that will take us to Los Angeles, feeling slightly bittersweet because of our loved ones that dropped us off. Yeji's mom came, so did Soobin, Jisoo and Beomgyu. They all congratulated us and said their goodbyes.

"I call dibs on window seat!" Yeji beat me to it, but I didn't mind. I was actually gonna offer it to her, since I have a small bladder... it's easier to get out this way.

"Is there anything you wanna do once we get there? We arrive in the morning, so we have all day." I put her hand in mine and smiled.

"What would you recommend?" She looked outside and watched as the airplane went up, really making us feel that pressure change.

"Melrose Avenue? I need to shop for new clothes, and I wanna treat you too. Buy whatever you want." I patted her head but she just sighed.

"You don't have to buy me anything. It's gonna seem like I'm with you because of your money." She pouted.

"But you aren't and I know that. I just wanna spoil my princess, that's all. Is there anything wrong with that?" I caressed her cheek with my thumb, gaining her attention. "I promised to make it up to you."

"Alright then, thank you." She smiled and pecked my lips. We looked at each other for a while, before the stewardess let us pick which meal we'd like.

"Do you like that?" Yeonjun came over beside me, and we both stared at a really cute necklace from Tiffany & Co. It's a gold necklace that includes a pretty blue diamond flower pendant.

"I love it." My eyes twinkled at the sight of such a beautiful piece of jewelry.

"Can she try it on?" He told the saleslady and she enthusiastically let us. Yeonjun's fingers draped over my skin as he put the necklace around my neck, my heart beginning to beat ultra speed again.

"It's so pretty..." I was just speechless while looking at it in the mirror. "How much does this cost?"

"It's a popular design by Jean Schlumberger, so it's more on the pricey side. Three thousand dollars." She replied, making me lose my breath. For a necklace? No way.

"I don't need it." I tried to take it off, but Yeonjun immediately stopped me.

"I'll pay with credit." He glared, not wanting to argue with me. He whipped out his black card, tapping it on the machine as if it's nothing.

"Thank you." I kissed his cheek and he giggled. We spent the whole afternoon shopping clothes for him.

"You need to buy more next time. Stop feeling weird buying nice things around me! I like seeing you smile." He sighed while taking me to a fast food chain. We both know for a fact that fancy food is all just plating, and that it's so much tastier when the price is low.

"You don't have to buy me nice things to make me smile," I booped his nose. "Tell me, how much did you spend today?"

"Uhm... about fifteen grand?" He tried to calculate in his head. I just gulped at the number, trying not to overreact. I shouldn't even be surprised, since he literally came out of every branded store with another paper bag in his hand.

"Doesn't your card have a limit?" I took a sip of juice out of my metal straw.

"Nope." He winked.

"Doesn't mean you should spend all of it. Isn't that your parents money?" I fed him a chicken nugget and he just chortled.

"I have money that's mine ever since I was born. Yeah- it's technically my parents, but they're not allowed to touch it once it's in my account. I don't know if that makes sense, but yeah." He just shrugged his shoulders.

"You're so privileged." I teased him and he nodded in agreement.

"Other than that money, I still have savings from when I worked in Seoul. I worked my ass off to save up a lot. I just wanna splurge once in a while." He explained to me.

"I know you're a very hard worker. It's one of the things I love about you." I patted Yeonjun's head and he blushed.

"Thanks for always supporting me. I'll do the same for you, from now on. I'll throw away my bad side and become the best person for you."

"You don't even have to try, because you already are the best for me. All you need to do is be yourself."
