I woke up the next day in Yeonjun's bed.

Yes, I did it with him. Do I regret it? No way. I've never felt so appreciated in my whole life, and the way I felt last night was indescribable. After the pain vanished, I felt like I was floating on soft clouds. I now understand why people get so obsessed with it.

I know he has a girlfriend, but I also know she's cheating on him. Not just because he told me- I've seen her with tons of guys despite already dating Yeonjun. He's just one of them in her collection.

Doesn't change the fact that he's taken, I know... that's the part that makes me feel guilty. I slept with someone else's man.

"Good morning!" Yeonjun patted my head which made me smile. In many ways, I'm still glad it happened. "How do you feel?"

"A little sore... but happy." I pecked his cheek. Even just for a little while, I wanna pretend like he's still mine.

"Let's have takeout for breakfast." He got up and made the call. After a while, the delivery man came and handed us our order. Burgers.

We devoured the food and joked around, just like before- despite what we did yesterday, nothing between us felt awkward at all. In fact, I feel much more comfortable around him.

A sudden knock came, then Jisoo's piercing voice. Yeonjun told me to grab my things and hide.

Oh shoot... should I go inside the closet? What if I suffocate? Oh well, I'd suffocate either way- she'd probably choke me to death if she saw me here.

I quickly got inside the closet, and darkness consumed me. I could only see a minimal amount of light coming through the small crack.

I heard muffled sounds from outside, but couldn't get a grasp of what was exactly being said. I didn't want to... not at all. I stayed there, not even daring to move an inch or make a sound.

"I saw the fucking shoes, Yeonjun. Where the hell is she?!" Jisoo yelled and my heart began to beat out of my chest. This is why you should never be a side hoe- you're gonna be the one doing all the hiding.

"Babe, I told you! Those are my sister's... she left her shoes here last time, because she bought new ones. Don't overthink." Yeonjun's voice felt very tense and he stuttered a lot.

"You don't have a sister! You're an only child, you liar." I heard the slap and I immediately wanted to grab her hair. Her slutty ass goes out and hooks up with different guys every week- does she think Yeonjun's a robot or something?

I suddenly heard kissing sounds after a few minutes, making me almost throw up. Don't they dare do anything else more in front of me... I don't think my stomach would be able to take it.

After what felt like forever, they left the room and continued talking in the living area. I quietly made my escape, then slowly opened the window.

It's okay Yeji, it's just two stories high. You won't die or anything... right? Come on, you got yourself into this mess.

I jumped out the window, and ended up landing on the wrong foot. I soon heard the crack sound and that's when I knew... I fucked up big time. Despite breaking my ankle, I only internally screamed. My eyes are shedding tears, but my intuitions know better.

I got up and began limping to the bus station, quickly to the hospital. I winced at every bump the bus hustled through, and I didn't even hold back my tears anymore. My ankle began turning purple and I started to get even more scared. The bone too... oh gosh, it's protruding.

Once arriving to the emergency, I told the desk lady and she instantly got me on the list for immediate care. The doctor checked my leg, and told me that it's fractured. I would have to wear an ankle brace and use crutches until it heals.

"How did this happen?" He suddenly asked. Do I tell him honestly or do I lie? We shouldn't lie to our doctors though, they know what's best.

"Oh, uhm... I was at a friend's house. His possessive girlfriend came, so I j-jumped out the window." I embarrassingly explained to him my story.

"That's... very interesting," he laughed at my explanation, probably judging me a lot. "Just take your medications daily and make sure not to put much pressure on that leg. Hope you recover quickly!"
