Yeji~

"Until when are they staying here?" I asked Soobin as we watched a movie with Jisoo's siblings. We're currently at his mansion, and it's my first time going into the viewing room. Rich people, really.

"As long as they want. Honestly, they're better off here. Their sister hasn't checked up on them even once." Soobin shook his head.

"What kind of sister is that..." I uttered in disbelief. "Boys, money, herself. That's all she cares about."

"Spot on." He patted my head.

"This movie is so weird." I tried to understand why the ladybug is trying to go up the pipe.

"I know right? They love it," he giggled at my remark. "Don't you feel like we're dating? I wouldn't mind this."

"Sheesh, you're so desperate!" I began shaking my head. "What do you want?"

"A kiss." Soobin puckered his lips. If this was Yeji from two months ago, then heck yeah. What has happened to me?

"You really wanna? In front of the kids?" I whispered and he winked.

"I mean... they're way in the front anyways. They won't see unless they look back." He began to hitch his face closer to me and I just laughed.

"Okay." I quickly brushed my lips against his, then turned away. No feeling. Absolutely nothing... like damn, I've been wanting that?

"Wow! Very straightforward... I like it." He blushed, feeling very flustered.

This guy's so annoying. I don't know whether he genuinely likes me or he's just kidding. Desperate times call for desperate measures, really.

Yeonjun~

I knocked on the door to Yeji's place, but nobody answered. I even tried to call her, but it seems as if her phone's on silent... or maybe she's just ignoring me.

I admit it. I haven't been the best's friend lately- I've literally been avoiding her for the past two months.

A couple suddenly got out of a car, laughing and having a great time. I squinted my eyes and noticed the two being Yeji and Soobin... of course. Those two are always together- I think everyone in school except themselves know that they're dating.

I hid quickly and watched them like Dispatch. This is technically invasion of privacy, but who cares.

"See you tomorrow, Apple. Sleep tight- don't dream about me too much." Soobin patted her head and she stared at him in confusion.

"Apple?" Yeji tilted her head.

"I'm still impressed by how you can break an apple with one hand," Oh... so he knows about her special talent too. "Go to sleep now. I'll text you when I get home."

"Okay, go now. Stay safe." She waved as he left. Yeji began to insert her keys, when I suddenly came out of my hiding spot- making her jump in surprise.

"Happy birthday! You're so old now." I put a hat on her and she just stared at me in shock. Better, I took out a cake and lit it up in front of her eyes.

"You're here..." She poked my face and winced. "This isn't a dream, right? You're actually here?"

Yeji immediately jumped into my arms, then began crying on my shoulders. Her grip is so tight, I can barely breathe.

"Did you miss me that much?" I looked down at her crystal eyes. The lights reflecting off her tears make her look so angelic... it makes me feel soft.

"I did... I missed you so much, I almost went crazy." She began hitting my chest, but instantly stopped after realizing how awkward that is. "It's my birthday?"

"Once you opened the door, it struck midnight. It's your birthday now," I handed her the cake and we both sang the song. "Make a wish."

"I wish Yeonjun breaks up with his girlfriend and be with me instead."

So I just finished 3/10 exams 1/2 essays this month skksks🙃 And lol yeah I wanted to relax a bit after a long week, so here's just a random chapter!

I might randomly post like one chapter every week until Jan 31st so y'all won't feel bored ahaha
