Sterling's POV

"Luke,haven't we been through this before? April and I are fine if you start dating.We were even more concerned when you start to find about the two of us dating." I let out as I walked with Luke to the
community centre.

"Well,I'm interested in the Rachel girl.You're ex.
Look,I know the situation seems 'icky' but she's been there for me." Luke confessed and my mouth went dry.

"Rachel?!" I push Luke to the side,trying to wrap my head around that idea.

"Are you kidding me? She's...definitely not your type." I tried not to raise my voice,saying it in the polite way possible.

"She used to be your type and your type is similar to my type.Get it? Cause I used to date April and now you're-"

"That's besides the point." I added,and sighed.Luke's eyes fell so I went easy on him.Clearly it's not his fault.

It's Rachel manipulative self doing all this.

"I'm just looking out for you,Luke.Always have and always will." I managed a small smile,patting his back.

"How's you and April? Everything working out?"
We continued our path to the community centre,side by side.

"Yeah,of course.I'm actually surprising her with tickets to the music festival this weekend.Perfect
time to just get away and be ourselves from all that hectic drama."

"Right...so have you two done it?" Luke asked in a hushed tone.

"What? No...why are you asking?" I furrowed my brows and looked at him.

"Just a little side advice.April doesn't want to engage in sexual activities,she's saving herself for marriage."

"Oh....we haven't had that talk yet." I looked down to the ground,playing with my hands.

Then that's a topic that we'll be covering on today.

"Hey,babe!" I looked up and hey,it's my favourite person in the world.

I wanted to go in for a kiss but since Luke was there,
I gave her an awkward hug.She slightly brushed my cheeks,hoping for a kiss but realised Luke's presence.

"Hey Luke.Come here to visit me?" April snakily wrap her hands around my waist,smiling at Luke.

"Of course.Just wanted to have a little chat before I meet up with Rachel."

"Rachel? She's back in town?" A worrying look plastered all over April's face and I cleared my throat.

"Actually Luke,we were hoping to have alone time.
How about we all catch up another time?" I suggested,giving him the 'eyes'.

"Okay,yeah.I'll see you two around then." He waves us goodbye and jogs off.

"Rachel is in town..." April repeated in disbelief and I nodded.

"Why is she in town? Isn't she supposed to be far far away from here?"

"I just heard the news from Luke too but we had an agreement that she won't be going anywhere near us."

"And you trust that imbecile of no good?" April crosses her arms and I nodded.

"She's not stupid and yes,she wants to make amends." I clarified,though that's not exactly what
she wants to hear right now.

"I just...can you take me home and stay with me for the time being?" April let out,readjusting the straps of her bag.

"Of course,I wouldn't want you out of my sight anyways." I planted a kiss on her forehead and we went home,with my hands hanging from her shoulder.

Blair's POV

That same night after meeting with Rachel,

"Hey,everything okay? You look a bulldozer right now.I hope I'm not holding a red flag right now." Eric teased and I rolled my eyes.

"Yeah,I'm fine.I just had a little chat with someone and not particularly happy with her presence here."

"April? Isn't she with Sterling right now?"

"Rachel actually.And hey,April and I are making small progress,alright?"

"Okay,chill babe.Come,these fries are not going themselves." Eric puts his arms around me and drove us to the movie screening.

I honestly forgot those existed but I guess cliche is good as well.

There were a couple of cars parked up already and reserving the spots in front.We wanted a little more privacy so we took the ones behind.

I got out of the car while Eric took care of the rest.
I asked around and they said they're going to be screening Fast and Furious 9.

Didn't know that Eric was into cars.

After a few minutes of looking around,I went back to Eric's car,and damn does that boy know how to impress.

"Surprise!" The car's LED was switched on to blue and I didn't even realised he had an LED installed.

Flowers and a teddy bear placed on my seat,the diner food in the middle and the back of the trunk had pillows and blankets laid out with extra snacks.

"This looks amazing,thank you." I kissed him and pulls away,taking a moment to take it all in.

I mean it's a romantic gesture,quite cliche but still
he did this for us.

We sat on the driver's area first to devour our burger and fries,along with our milkshakes on the side.

"So,what do you think of all this so?" Eric started out while I took a bite of my burger.

"It's great,baby.I love it." I said,still focusing on my burger and fries.

"So I know we haven't been seeing each other as much,but I'm trying to make it all up."

"Hey,hey.No worries,babe.I understand and I got your back." I let out a smile and he chuckled.

"You got a little...there's something on your...let
me get for you." He points to my face and I tried to wipe it off but ended up missing the spot.

He used his thumb and wipe the sauce off the side of my mouth,and licking it afterwards.

He's hot and he's mine,how is that possible?

The movie screening started right after we finished our food,and we moved to the back to watch it all.

I like this.It's not a hallobollu or however Sterling said it.It's just peaceful,and no dramatic changes.

I leaned on him and cuddled through the movie.
Apart from our small makeup sessions in between and munching on snacks.

I just feel safe,and protected whenever I'm with him.
I know I have the whole 'I'm a strong independent woman' speech but this just feels right.

Right after the movie,he took me home because Mom would be worried sick of us.

"So I guess this is me,huh?" I chuckled and he nods,
still holding onto the flowers and teddy bear.

"Yeah,it is.Thank you for letting me take you out.I do
have something to say." He said and my heart raced.

Does he want to break up? Or am I dreaming? Cause
that was our best date yet.

I don't want to lose him.

"It's nothing bad.Just that I haven't had the chance to say it before....I love you,Blair." Eric confessed and my mouth couldn't help but curve into the biggest smile.

"You love me?" He nodded and this boy just couldn't get any cuter,can he?

I pulled him by the hair and firmly pressed my lips against him.The kiss was passionate and sensual just like our love for each other.

We pulled away because we ran out of my breath but I managed to say it back to him.

"I love you too,Eric." He pulled me in for a hug and
this is the moment.Our moment.

Nothing could get better than this.

"Rachel?" I said in disbelief as a car pulled up to the sidewalk. "What are you doing here?"

I pulled myself away from Eric as Rachel and bodyguards let themselves out of the car.

"Bad news.Sterling got into an accident.The police should be giving a call pretty soon." She said,checking her phone.

"And you're telling me that you're not a part of it?"
She shook her head and I was trying to keep it together but all I felt was rage towards her.

She was calm and collected like this isn't a life or death situation.

"Bullshit!" With force,I pushed her against the car,cussing at her face.I grab by the collar,keeping her pinned to the car.

The guards approached us,ready to stop me but Rachel signalled them away.

"I had nothing to do with it.I already told you that I'm on business."

"You could've prevented it.I know you've always kept an eye on Sterling." I push her against the car again,
and she sighed.

"I would but I didn't see it coming.The guards told me she was going to walk back home and April was sending her off.As she said her goodbyes and crossed the road,a car happened to be right in front of her."

This piece of shit...

"So if I were you,I'd check in on my sister instead of pinning her ex-girlfriend to the car." She pointed out and I let her go reluctantly.

"Well,I don't really know you personally,Rachel but here's one for you." Eric threw a punch at her and the guards didn't waver.The punch was really loud and hard and Rachel should've fall to the floor right now.

However,Rachel just smiled and looked right at me.

"Well,that's one coming from your boyfriend.I'll see you,Blair." She adjusted herself,as I clenched my teeth and thought about how I should've punched her in the first place.

She winks before getting back into her car with the guards.

"Fuck you!" I cussed as the car drove away and I turned to Eric,whose knuckles were red.

"Are you okay?" I said,blowing the knuckles and kissing it to make it better.

"Oh,that was badass by the way." I added and Eric smirked.

"Just wanted to give her a taste and we should be going to the hospital right NOW."

"Right...let's notify my parents first and we'll head out,okay? Just get the car started."

The fear of Sterling dying just hit me but I can't break down now.I need to get my parents ASAP to the hospital.
