I hope you've enjoyed reading Local Flavour! For 'dessert,' I've posted some recipes as a bonus chapter. These are some things that I enjoy cooking, and a traditional Jiggs Dinner recipe (typically, a Newfoundland dish). You can go online and find dozens of variations, but this is the way my beloved grandmother, Annie Mae, used to make it. 

I envision this bonus chapter as a hand-written book that Quinn leaves for Lucy, so she can try out some simple recipes while he's travelling (and also so she won't have to live on protein bars and microwave dinners when he's away).  I hope you like it!
