Sophie

I woke up hopeful today. I knew Logan would be off to be with his mom at the courthouse. This is the time when I woke up begging God for a miracle. I wanted things to work out for them. I miss Ashley so much, and I know she must be missing her mom and Logan. They deserve to be together. I just hope that Mr. Spencer can see that in time.

He picked me up from home and gave me a ride to school before leaving. I gave him a quick kiss and got off the car. I waved at him as he sped off to Mr. Mitchell's office. He had called him this morning to tell him he had big news for him. I hoped it was good news, Logan could really use a turn to all of the bad things that have been happening lately.

I decided to send him a quick message before entering my second class and told him that everything was going to be ok.

Sophie- Hi Baby. Good morning. I just wanted you to know I love you. Things are going to be ok, you'll see. I'll see you after school, ok?

Logan- Yeah baby, you're right, thank you for that. I know things will be ok. I'll pick you up after school, I have big news for you. BTW- You looked gorgeous this morning.

I blushed as I read his message standing right by the door. I smiled like a dummy looking at the screen. "No phones during school time Miss Patterson." One of the teachers said making me turn and placing my phone back in my pocket. "Sorry, sir," I responded giving him an apologetic smile.

"Get to class sweetheart."

"Yes, sir." I made my way inside and sat at my desk.

**********

The whole day went by so slow for me, not having Logan next to me in class. I missed him like crazy. How am I supposed to survive college away from him if I get accepted into USC or Stanford? God this is torture. We are only a few months away from graduation. Then we only have a few months left together for vacation before we both leave for college. One thing for sure- I am not willing to let go of him. He means too much to me to not try to stay together. But- what if he doesn't want to do the whole long-distance thing? It will surely break my heart.

"Hey baby girl, waiting for Romeo?" Troy called out to me as he walked beside Dylan, as he trailed an arm over Dylan's shoulder.

I won't say it has been easy for them. They've both faced many difficulties from Troy's family, and people around as well. It's hard to see them being judged by people in public who don't agree with their relationship. They have been called disgusting creatures and fags, among other more hurtful words. It angers me, but it has surprised me that Dylan has been so supportive and helpful to T when it comes to these verbal attacks.

"Hey, handsome devils. Yes, I am. And where are you two headed, huh?" I smiled and glanced towards them. Dylan and Troy looked at each other and smiled mischievously.

"We are gonna head out to watch a movie. Then we're gonna go spend some alone time in Dylan's house before meeting his dad's new girlfriend for dinner." Troy responded, tightening his grip around Dylan, making him smile.

"Oh, nice. I am so happy for your dad Dylan. He's such a nice guy." I said, turning quickly away from them as I heard Logan's car honking.

"Anyway, I'll see you guys later ok?" I added quickly sprinting towards Logan's car and waving a kiss towards them. They sent air kisses my way making me giggle.

Logan quickly got off the car and I couldn't contain myself but throw myself in his arms and plant a kiss on his lips making him chuckle.

"Groooossss!" I heard from the other side of the car, making him turn quickly. "Ashley!" I yelped out and ran to hug her. She giggled, returning the hug, tightly.

"Hi, Sophie. I missed you."

"I missed you too kiddo. So, what happened? tell me?" I asked eagerly, looking between Ashley and Logan.

"First things first," Logan said as he opened his door and brought out my baby Charlie. He had gone to my house, picked him up from mom, and taken him to get cleaned up at the puppy spa. Charlie was sporting a brand new collar and a little shirt with the NY logo on it.

"Oh, Charlie. you look so handsome, baby." I said as I took him in my arms and hugged him. On his collar was a key chain attached to it with a pair of keys. "What is this?" I asked Logan as I reached for the keys looking at him curiously.

"I have a few surprises for you. One- I just found out this morning that I got accepted into NYU, with a full scholarship. You are now looking at your next possible receiver of NYU's football team." He said joyfully making me squeal and jump with joy. I launched myself in his arms and kissed him. "Oh, my God, Logan! I am so happy for you baby! I knew it, I knew you could do it, babe. Congratulations." I congratulated him, giving him multiple kisses on his lips and cheeks.

"Ah, hello? Still here, you know?" Ashley said making us giggle.

"Thank you, babe. I couldn't have done it without all the support you and mom give me."

"Yeah, what about me huh?" Ashley added making Logan roll his eyes and laugh, pulling her against him as he still held me as well.

"You too, dork. I missed you, you brat." He said kissing her on the top of her head.

"I missed you too jerk."

He nodded his head smiling. I engulfed Ashley as well, making our group hug tighter.

"Anyway, the keys are your next surprise. Come on, I have something to show you." He said as we unhooked ourselves and made our way to the car.

He drove down towards the lake and away from the crowd, stopping just a little before a new construction site. This place looked awfully familiar. I knew exactly where we were, but I was curious as to why he had brought us here.

"Recognize this place babe?"

"Yes. It's where we had our first date. Did someone buy off this land? That house looks beautiful." I said as we made our way in front of the massive house that easily looked like it was three stories high if they were using the attack for living space.

"Do you like it?" He asked coming behind me, placing his chin on my neck and hugging me around my waist. "It's wow. Whoever is going to live here is seriously lucky. This house is gorgeous. Isn't Ash?" I asked, turning to Ashley as she glanced at the house with her mouth wide open.

"It's gorgeous. Wow, your guys work fast brother. Please tell me you are adding a pool because when it's summer, I definitely want to come to visit and swim in it, all day." Ashley said making me tilt my head and ponder on her words.

"Umm, what?" I asked dumbfounded.

"Those keys around Charlie's neck are your copy of the house. It's my house, well, our house. I know you and I are really young Soph, but I know you and I are meant to be. WHich is why I had this house built in this spot. This spot is really special to me, because this, is where you first gave me a chance to prove to you that I wasn't kidding about my feelings for you. I love you, Soph. And I know that you and I are going to be together forever. It doesn't matter how far away we are at times, I know that we are meant to be. I love you, I hope you know that." He said pulling me against him and caressing my jaw. He slowly closed the gap between us, claiming my lips softly.

I'm not sure what the future holds for both of us, but I do know that I love him. And I feel like the luckiest girl in the world to have him in my life.
