Something bout you makes me feel like a dangerous woman ~ Ariana Grande

"Declan why are you sitting all the way over there?" I frowned. We were in Kendall's basement watching a movie.

Since everyone knows of my living situation, I decided to invite my friends over. Just let me say, they were very impressed when they first walked in. I sat between Quinn and Lily on one of the couches in front of a big screen tv. Declan sat on a single chair beside us.

"Yeah, there's an open space next to Quinn. Don't be shy," Lils interjected.

Declan shook his head "I don't mind sitting alone, it's comfortable," he said before turning to the screen.

I looked over at Quinn, but she dodged my gaze. After the trip, things have been kind of tense in our friend group especially between Quinn and Declan's. I tired talking to Quinn but she would just push me away.

My eyebrows furrowed at the awkwardness floating through the room.

"Ugh, can we please change the movie?" Declan groaned, running a hand through his hair.

"What's wrong with twilight?" I asked, throwing some skittles in my mouth.

"Everything! Who wants to watch five films of the the same thing?"

"Me," Lily spoke. "Can you shut up so I can listen.  Jacob's speaking," she grinned. Once again his shirt was off and of course Lily's eyes flew up and down his torso.

I scoffed at Lily, she's a trip. "If you don't wanted to watch twilight with us then why come? We told you that's what we were watching."

"Yes, a twilight movie not five, we're on our third movie and I'm getting bored."

Quinn stood up suddenly, "I'm going to the bathroom," she said before leaving.

We all stared as she walked away.

"Declan what did you do to her?" Lily whisper-shouted once she heard the door close, nearly climbing over me. I lifted my bucket of popcorn out of the way.

"What do you mean what did I do to her?" Declan glared at her.

"You have to of did something, she's not herself anymore she's more quieter, and doesn't want to hang out as much. Did you know I had to drag her over here at her big age. She looks miserable."

Declan bit his lip and ran a hand threw his hair. "I wish I knew what's wrong but she won't tell me anything. When you guys left we watched a movie and played a few games. I went to the bathroom and when I came back out she was gone."

We all hushed up when we heard the door to the bathroom squeak open. Quinn joined us shortly sending us a sad grin. I hit resume on the movie and sighed.

After a few hours, Lily and Quinn left together and it was just me and Declan. We moved upstairs to the living room.

"Are you sure nothing else happened back at the hotel? I just don't like seeing Quinn like that and I'm just trying to understand what's wrong."

Declan sighed, bending over and putting his head in his hands. "I don't know," he sighed. "Look I got to go, but I'll see you later princess," he said getting up to hug me.

I hugged his back, "what did I say about calling me that," I sighed.

"Sorry sorry, I'll work on it," he pulled back smiling at me.  We pulled away when we heard a set of footsteps enter the room.

Declan rolled his eyes when he saw Victor walk in. Victor didn't seem to fond of him as well and his eyebrows went up.

They both glared at each other in passing and I almost wanted to gag at the tension in the room. Seriously, what is up with everyone?

I walked Declan to the door and said goodbye. When I came back to the living room, Victor was in the kitchen, looking through the fridge.

"Why do you guys stare like you hate each other," I crossed my arms. I didn't understand why they would have any problems.

"I don't like him," he stated simply.

"I thought y'all made up," I whined.

"No you made us make up, that was on the trip. It's over now so I don't have a reason to be cordial with him anymore.

I blew out a breath. "Whatever, just don't start any fights around me I couldn't bare it."

"I don't get into fights with stupid people," he drawled.

My mouth dropped in anger, "he is not stupid, stop calling my friend that. He's probably more smarter than you."

"I doubt it, I haven't seen him in the honor roll since 9th grade. I doubt his IQ even reaches mine."

"Grades don't mean anything," I clenched my fist, he's starting to sound arrogant now.

"They tell a lot about the person though, shitty grades, shitty person." He said leaning into me.

My eyes widen at his audacity. "Are you calling me shitty too then? Because last time I checked grades don't always reflect your persona. I'm a great person. So what if I fell behind a little bit in science, it happens, we're human. Not robots with little hearts like you," I sneered.

"Little heart?" Victor laughed in my face, "oh please I have no heart, at least not for you," he shrugged and walked away.

My face dropped, his words were like venom from a snake. It burned. All because of that stupid confession I made a few years ago is how he can play with my emotions like it means nothing.

In disbelief, I realized how pathetic I looked staring at the empty air. He says he doesn't hate me yet tells me this. Pick a side.

"Aniya dear, can you hold the door open for me please?" Kendall asked, she held a bunch of groceries in her hand and was fumbling to open the door.

"Woah what's all this?" I asked holding the door open.

"Just a few snacks for Victor's party tonight," she smiled before dropping everything on the counters.

Wow, Victors having a party and I didn't even know about it. And I live with him!

"What's the party for?" I asked setting the bags upright.

"Just a little get together for his soccer team, they are playing one of their first games of the season. I want him to have something fun to come home to wether he wins or not."

"Thats so sweet, I bet he's happy to have a mother like you," I gushed.

She blushed, waving her hands. "Nah, I'm 100% sure he told me not to throw a party but it's my house, and he deserves to have fun. He keeps himself locked up in his room too much," she sighs under her breath.

Victor walked down the stairs in his soccer attire the schools colors, teal and black decorating his outfit. I stood to Kendall's side not bothering to make eye contact with him.

"Mom I thought I said I didn't want a party," he groaned. He looked at all the stuff Kendall brought and scowled.

"I know I know baby but you're not spending your Friday night in your room all alone. Your friends said they would love to come. So suck it up."

"They're not my friends," Victor muttered.

"Then make some," Kendall replied, placing a kiss on his cheek. She walked away, probably to get some more stuff done before tonight.

Victor stared at me, thought in his grey eyes. I rolled my eyes before pushing past him on my way to my room. I tried my best to hold back a wince as my shoulder collided with his hard side.

My mom was off for the night and wanted to see Victor play so now she's dragging me with her and I have to cheer on the boy who called me and my friend stupid.

I huffed before freshening up and changing clothes. It's warm outside so I just decided on a cute plaid white and green skirt and a white cropped top. I kept my hair in its low puff and relaid my edges.

I sat on my bed until I was called to come down and stuffed my feet into some white air force's.

Victor had already left to meet up with his team so it was just me, our moms, and Cora and Nico.

We soon pulled up to the school he was playing at and took a seat in the section on his side. Cora sat in her seat with an excited smile on her face as same as Nico.

Nico had gotten a blueberry ice pop from the snacks stand and happily licked his treat with a big smile on his face.

Note to self: Anything sweet makes Nico happy.

My mom smiled at me, "I'm excited to see him play, Kendall said he plays well."

I nodded, "yeah he is pretty good, and popular for a reason," I mumbled the last part under my breath.

"What was that?" My mom asked. I shook my head as in nothing. She shrugged before turning to the field.

Looks like the games about to start.
