"SURPRISE!"

Wow, wow, wow. What is going on here? What's this surprise?

Do I have my birthday today and I don't even know it?

"Felix, what is going on in here?", I tugged on his sleeve, looking at him with a surprised and questioning look. He coughed awkwardly at me, before turning his head to face the chaos infront of us.

Maybe not so much of a chaos, as I'm used to them being like this, but still. And let me explain a bit what was currently happening.
First of all, the room was a bit, no screw that, was a LOT messier than I left it this morning.

But that's not the point here.

The point here is that these seven boys infront of me are behaving as if they're high in marijuana.

No, literally.

I don't know if it's from marijuana or any other kind of smoke. But one thing's for sure.

They are over-excited, jumping all over the living room when they saw me, making weird and incoherent sounds that creeps me out and overall, your typical StrayKids mess.

You know the drill.

"Well... Remember when I told you earlier that you'll see what they have been up to today? Yeah... This...", he pointed at the boys, who were currently rushing over me.

"Rosa, I missed you.", Jeongin hugged my tightly.

"I missed you too, Innie. But... What's going on here?"

With that, all seven of them started talking simultaneously, but apparently, I understood nothing of what they were saying. Their words were muffled with one another's and I was just standing there like a brick. I saw Felix giving me an apologetic smile but he couldn't hold back his laugh at his groupmates' actions.

"I think one of you should do the speech, not all of you at the same time. You are making her more confused.", Felix spoke on behalf of me.

"I'll do it.", the leader spoke and had our attention only on him.

He cleared his throat and gave me a soft smile before continuing.
"So, Rosa. I assume Felix has informed you of what is happening tomorrow, right?", he asked and I nodded my head, my mood slowly going down.

They are leaving tomorrow...

"Good. I'm mean, not good but- anyways. Okay, so... How do I put this...?"

"With words Bang.", Minho mocked and made all of us chuckle.

Chan eyed him for a second, with a mischievous, yet playfully angry expression on his face that screamed 'I'm gonna deal with you later', and then turned his attention to me once more.

"Ahem, yeah. Well, I don't think words would do any good right now, so I believe we should show it with actions.", he continued and gave a nod to the boys, indicating something that I still was unaware of. The boys got his hint and rushed to the kitchen with no second thoughts. Apart from Hyunjin, who headed towards the guest rooms. I was left there standing with only Chan and Felix by my side, dumbfounded.

Am I being kidnapped or something?

'You wouldn't mind if it was them who did it though, would you?'

Of course not- Wait! That's not the point here...

'Mhm'

Oh shush.

Just then, I felt a grip on either side of my arms and looked both ways to see what was happening. Chan was holding my right side and Felix my left, dragging me along with them towards the couch.

"Sit here and watch.", Felix gave me a smile, before him and Chan moved a little bit away from me. And I was left in confusion for the 100th time today.

Watch what exactly?!

A moment later, I see a figure coming out from the dark corridor and soon Hyunjin was in the view. He gave me the biggest smile and hid his left hand behind his back. I assumed he was holding something he didn't want me to see? He walked closer to me and waited to the side, beside the two boys.

I feel bad for not being able to smile at them back, but, come on now. I'm practically loosing my shit here and nobody explains to me what's actually happening. How am I suppose to smile back while a part of me thinks that I'm actually going to be murdered tonight?

"Am I gonna die today?"

The three boys laughed at my statement and shook their heads.

"Well, if you won't die from food poisoning that is.", Hyunjin chuckled and got nudged by Chan with the elbow. The tall boy grimaced his face in pain.

That looked painful, not gonna lie.

"Don't spoil the surprise, llama.", he scolded.

Just as Hyunjin was about to say something back, he got interrupted by five loud crackheads. Well, to be more specific, Jisung and Changbin were the ones making the most noise with their weird sound effects.

I swear, don't put those two together in a room, unless you want your eardrums to bleed.

Coming to the view, the five boys made their way to the living room with excitement.

"Jisung, I swear, if you drop it  down, I'll make you mop it with your hair.", Minho hissed at him and his words got my attention.

Drop wha-

Oh lord... Is this what I think it is?

"It that a cake?!", I stood up from my seat, almost screaming from my surprise.

Jisung was currently holding a tray in his hands with a colorful cake on top, decorated with some strawberries and cookies. Seungmin had his eyes glued on Jisung's hands just in case something went wrong. Jeongin and Changbin following from behind like little kids and as for Minho, he was already near me holding something in his hand. I didn't pay much attention to it as I was too mesmerized by the cake coming closer to me.

Jisung successfully managed to find his way to the couch, without dropping the cake and he handed it to me. My hands almost trembled, but I still managed to get a good grip of it. As I looked down to the cake infront of me, I identified something that was written with icing.

'We will always be grateful to have you in our lives', was imprinted in the middle, along with some pink and white hearts on the side.

My eyes started watering and this time, I couldn't hold them back. It was too overwhelming for me.

"Guys..", I hiccuped in between my tears,  but I couldn't bring myself to continue.

"We thought of baking a cake for you,", Changbin started,

"since you always cooked for us everyday" Seungmin added,

"while we were just waiting on the couch...", Jisung continued.

"...not to make a mess...", Jeongin said with a sheepish smile and made me remember of that time he broke a plate.

"Wait, all four of you made this?", they nodded their heads and I gasped, my eyes widening.
"Guys this is amazing. Thank you so so SO much.", a tear of happiness rolled down my cheek.

They are so thoughtful. They were always the ones that didn't step a foot to the kitchen while I was cooking with the rest of the boys. And that's because Jisung and Jeongin were the clumsiest and Seungmin with Changbin had to supervise them all the time.

"Just try to be careful while eating it. They might have put salt instead of sugar.", Minho mocked and I laughed.

"It's the thought that matters to me.", I said.
"May I take a picture before we cut it?", I asked and they nodded.

I quickly took my phone out, after placing the cake on the coffee table and took a picture of it.

"Now's my turn.", Minho spoke again and got my attention.

There's more?

I raised my head to look at him and saw him smirking at me. He stretched his hand at me and gave me a small bag. With a confused look, I took the bag in my hands and searched for the inside. Digging my hand, I touched something cold and metallic, that almost scared me out.

"What's that!?", I almost yelled and they laughed at my reaction.

"See for yourself."

Without thinking twice, I pulled the the weird shaped thing out of the bag, only to be met with a whisk. But not just your typical plain, metallic whisk. No, nothing like that. Instead of the silver colour of the metal, this one was painted in baby pink colour. As for the plastic hanlde... It was shaped in a cat's paw. Not a surprise coming from Minho, to be honest. But truth be told, it was super cute and pretty.

"A whisk..?", I almost laughed out loud, as it was too random.

"Oh well. I saw that you didn't have one in your kitchen and if you want to make again the korean egg drop sandwich, you will, for sure, need it.", he elaborated with a smirk, as if he was mocking me in some way.

"Well, thank you very much, oh chef Minho the Great."

"It's my pleasure, darling."

"My turn now!", Hyunjin interrupted as he approached me.

"Give me your hand. And close your eyes.", he demanded and I did as he asked, my curiosity taking the best of me.

Stretching my hand infront of him with my eyes shut, he took it in his. A second later a felt somthing foreign being but on my wrist.

"Now you can open them."

Fluttering my eyes open, I looked down on my left wrist hurriedly. There, a beautiful and cute bracelet was decorating my hand. The baby blue beads were beautifully matched with the little daisies along the jewelry. Knowing him, I can say positively that he made it himself. And yes, my assumption was correct as he confirmed it a moment later.

"I spent the whole day thinking of what I should give you and ended up to this. You once told me that you liked daisies. I made it myself. I hope you like it.", He gave me a shy smile, almost felt that he was blushing from embarrassment.

"I love it. Thank you Hyunjin, it's beautiful."

His smile got bigger at my words and made my heart soft. I don't think I'll be able to say goodbye at them tomorrow... They were preparing all this the whole day and I was completely unaware of this. Though, I was pretty much occupied with my date with Felix... AhEm. mOvInG On.

I still cannot believe that Jisung, Jeongin, Seungmin and Changbin baked a whole cake for me. The little quote the wrote on top, is enough for me not get me emotional. But what surprised me more was that it actually looked pretty nice and tasty. I still haven't tried it yet to judge, but let's just say that...hopefully it will.

On the other hand, Minho was thoughtful enough to buy me a whisk, and a very cute one I might add. And it will for sure be useful in cooking. I really needed one anyway. He read my mind this time.

Hyunjin was sweet too, with his gift. He even remembered that one time I told him that I liked daisies when we went to the woods. I don't even remember it myself, but he did. Handmade gifts are the most valuable ones and I'll always wear it in my hand.

I also have now a matching ring that Felix gifted to me an hour ago, to remind me of the one month we all spent together. And to remember every single moment we had alone. The love he showed me and the ways he made my heart flatter in every possible and impossible way. A gift to be reminded of him. A ring that bonded us in our own, secret way. A very meaningful gift that is.

Although Chan didn't give something that you can keep with you forever, or eat at this point, he still gifted me way more than than. With just an exchange of our looks, he made me realise that he did so much for me. Allowing the boys to stay in my house in the first place, was the biggest gift I could ever recieve. He was always there for me and everyone else when we needed help. He would always calm the spirits and apologise on behald of his groupmates. He was the one planning the picnic Felix and I enjoyed this morning. Let alone he supervised the rest of the boys today while I was gone. I was so grateful to him and he knew it as well.

Thinking all these, my tears rolled down once more and I started crying out of pure happiness.

"Darn you guys. You got me crying. Thank you so much. I really cannot thank you enough though.", I cried, my tears were now a waterfall.

I covered my face with my hands, to hide my ugly crying face. While trying to compose myself, I felt my body being squeezed with more bodies. A very familiar squeeze. Very familiar, strong hands being wrapped around me and I didn't need to open my eyes to see that I was taken in a group hug. Their group hug.

"We are the ones that cannot thank you enough.", Jeongin sniffled.

Is he crying? On no, the baby is crying, somone bring him his pacifier!

"Thank you for putting up with us.", Minho's voice trembled.

"Thank you for cooking for us.", Changbin added with sniffles.

"Thank you for making us laugh.", Jisung sobbed.

"For taking care of us.", Seungmin continued, his eyes watery.

"For understanding us and opening up to us.", Hyunjin smiled with tears.

"For loving us.", Felix cried.

"Thank you for letting us stay.", Chan finished.

"We love you so much...", they whispered in unison.

At this point, we were all a crying mess. Standing there for God's knows how long, hugging our lives out as if it's our last. Which it is...
I never dreamt of this day. I was too afraid to imagine it. Too afraid of saying goodbye. I always was.
It's hard to love somebody and after so many things you have been through with them, you just let them go with a goodbye. Being left alone with only memories. It's heartbreaking.

I love them too must to even express myself and put it in words. They have done so many things for me, they have made me happier, a better person. And not just only me. Every single on of their fans. Those eight, undoubtedly talented crackheads, are always here to make your life a better place to live in.
Who knew though, that I'll be lucky enough to meet them in person and live with them for a whole month in my house.

That night, we spent our time hugging each other, saying how thankful and happy we were to be together. How blessed we were that we met with each other and became close. Because imagine if I didn't know them in the first place? How would I had behaved and how would had they? Well that would have been a whole different story. But we all got lucky enough to prevent that.

The cake that they baked turned out to be too sweet, but at least, it was sugar and not salt. They gave me the excuse that they wanted to make the cake as sweet as me and didn't want to admit defeat. We still ate evey single bit of it though. It was a taste that I will never forget.

We also took hundreds of pictures together, just to be reminded of this day. They also promised me that they would try to keep contact with me. But I didn't want to agree. I wanted them to be free of their actions and not feel like I'm a responsibility to them that needs to be taken care of. But they still said that they would text me. Or at least try to.

Without realising it, the next day had come. We didn't sleep a wink all this time as we wanted to spent it all together. And not only that but, their company was already outside my house, waiting. They had already packed their things and were about to bid me the final goodbye.

"So this is it...", I said with a raspy voice that was created from crying and laughing too much for the past hours.

"Yeah...", they all exclaimed and my heart sunk.

As they were about to step out of the door, a thought hit me like train wreck.

"Wait! Stay here, I'll be back in no time.", I said panicked and ordered them to stay still.

Quickly rushing in the corridor, I run towards my art room and enter. I then, hurriedly looked through my drawings and found one with all of them together. It was a group photo of them that I had sketched some years ago. Smiling to myself, I picked up the paper and dashed again to them.

There they were, all eight of them standing in the door frame, waiting for me with a confused expression.

"Here. Since I didn't have time to prepare for something to give you guys, the way you did, I thought that you maybe... Accept this...", I tried to say without sounding weird. Handing my sketch over to them, I saw the way their faces lit up and their eyes sparkled. A huge, warm and sweet smile was plastered on every one of them, that made my heart flatter.

They went up and hugged me, every one individually this time. Telling me how much they will miss me and love me. Me returing the love back to them. Also warning me not to forget them because they for sure won't forget me.
But truth be told, how could I ever forget of such experience?

"Thank you for everything you have done for us, Rosa. You will always stay in our hearts.", they thanked me once more, with a bitter-sweet smile, their eyes holding so many emotions.

"Goodbye, Rosa. Take care. We love you."

"You too, guys. Goodbye. I love you too."

And with that, our final goodbye, full of sorrow and beautiful memories, was done. They stepped outside, leaving my house forever.

So it's over.

We return to our normal lives like nothing ever happened.

We continue our path, separately.

But at the same time, together.

Because we will always stay in each other's heart.

I believe I need some tissues...

I cannot believe this book is almost over. I feel kind of empty now... i have gotten so attached with this book and the support you guys gave me throughout this journey is amazing.

Thank you SO much for everything guys. I hope you enjoyed this book as much as I enjoyed writting it.

I am aware that a lot of you may not like or expected this turn of events, and I sincerely apologise for that. But that chapter was already made up in my mind, since I first started this book.
I didn't want to make it cliché and write that Rosalynn moved in with them in Korea. I wanted to be more realistic and explain this way that every good or bad moment never lasts forever. Hope you understand me.

I'll make an EPILOGUE chapter though, because I have some more things to add and hopefully, I'll make it up to you :)

So stay tuned!

(Not edited btw)

I love you so much ㅠㅅㅠ
