*inhales deeply to calm down*

Okay so, on another note.

I want to apologise for the very cringy and crappy way of writing.
I still look back at the first chapters and cringe 'cuz of the terrible way I wrote, BUT it gets better, so please have patience, because I really do feel sorry.
It was my first book after all ;-;

I'm sorry for any mistakes, this book is not edited, like at all (was too lazy for that) and English is not my first language. I focused and improved my writing skills with my other book.

I woke up to the sound of my alarm ringing "Wakey wakey~ Come on, it's time to wake up. Don't wanna be late today."

umm-

I mean come on now, as a Stay it's normal for me to have Felix as my alarm sound right?

Right.

And plus, his voice is the only thing that makes me wake up with a smile. It's the best way to start up your day, trust me.

I slowly opened my eyes and stretched my hand to turned off my alarm. I was mentally preparing myself to get up, but then, I decided to stay in my bed for a couple of minutes more.

No offense Felix, but I'm still a bit sleepy. I always am anyways.

And after 5 short minutes or so, I finally got up from my comfy and warm bed, getting ready to start my day.

There's nothing special about my days, though.
My life is pretty boring, nothing worth mentioning to be honest.
Let's start off with that fact that I live by myself. My house is kind of big for only one person, though.
Actually it's my parents' house, but I'm the only one staying here, since my parents died in a car accident when I was very young. I don't have many memories of them, but I know that I loved them very much.

When this awful incident happened, my grandma was the one to take care of me and raise me up. She is the closest person that I have.
But when I finally turned 18, two years ago, I decided to live by myself in my parents' house. So, here I am, having to do so many chores and fullfil my responsibilities every single day.

I work part-time at a local coffee shop in order to pay my bills. And no, I didn't go to college, I just graduated from high school and that's it.
The reason why, is because my granny couldn't afford to send me to a good college, but I don't blame her at all.
I like my life as it is. It may be  boring sometimes, but I have gotten used to it.
But, if a had the chance, I would love to study fine Arts. Sketching is one of my hobbies. I remember myself drawing since I was in diapers and it's still my biggest passion.

Being a Stay, I mostly like to sketch my 8 lovely boys, like dUh wHy wOuLdn'T I?

I stared my day by putting on some music. Guess what song? Yeah it's pretty difficult to imagine that I put a Stray Kids' song right?
I chose to listen to "Levanter" and started singing along. It's not like I'm a singer, but at least my voice is bearable. But of course, I can't reach high notes, because if I do, I'll probably break a window or something.

As I start dancing, I get dressed and go down to the kitchen to prepare breakfast. There are many times that I skip breakfast, but when I saw the ripe avocados I had in my counter, I was tempted. So, I made avocado toast with eggs. One of my favourite.

I didn't take me long to finish my food and after gulping down a glass of water, I checked out my phone for any possible notifications.
I had some unread messages from my friends that I would reply later...maybe...

Not that I'm a snob, but either I forget to reply or I'm just to lazy to do so, you know?

Continuing on, as I scrolled down on Instagram, I came across a post that said that Skz are going on hiatus. I'm not suprised at all if you ask me. They have been giving us comebacks every other three months or so. They deserve to rest a bit as well as have time for themselves.
I'm glad that the JYP entertainment agreed to that. I wonder what will they do during their break. Hopefully they will have fun with whatever they do. They will probably announce it after their break is over.

I locked my phone and chose not to focus on it further more, because I would get lazily to do anything else. So, after cleaning the kitchen, I went outside my house to water my garden.

I'm emotionally attached with this garden, since my parents were the ones to create it. It's a normal, beautiful garden with flowers and trees. It brings me peace to be outside in the nature, taking in the fresh air and smell the pollen from the flowers.
Times like these I thank God that I'm not allergic to pollen or anything in particular.
The day is also very beautiful today, the sky is clear and sunny, the birds are cheerfully chirping on the branches and the wind blows softly.

With my eyes closed, I took in the majestic moment of the nature, the sun hitting and warming up my body.
But while doing so, my ears perked up at the sound of a car's engine and my eyes shot up in confusion. I was met with a big black van and I started praying that I was not going to get kidnapped today.

Whilst I stood there, casually watering my plants, eight people stepped out of a black van and my heart dropped in fright.
The men seemed to be in an average height, their faces seemed to be in deep confusion as they stared at their surroundings.
The van was parked in the middle of the road, with the eight men standing outside from it. And as for me, I just silently stayed still in my feet, continuing to do my busines.

What the heck?

Why are they're so many?

One of them was holding a book on his hand, that looked like a map. Moreover, they looked around my age and most of them had dyed hair in different colours.
That was something that really got me staring at them weirdly. The must not be from around here, since all the people my age are studying in colleges, away from here. They wouldn't be this unware of their surroundings either and wouldn't have come at this place of the town, since my house in the only thing here. The life of the town starts, with neighbourhoods and shops, is further away.
But these guys, looked like lost puppies and it made me slightly laugh.

Ok maybe not that slightly, because apparently, the eight lost puppies- I mean guys, turned their heads at the noise coming from my lips and glanced at me.

Oh dear.

What have I done?

I froze on my spot and the watering can I was once holding, slipped from my hands and fell on the ground. We stood there looking at each other for a couple of minutes, but it actually felt like an eternity, since the situation was getting super awkward. And trust me when I say that the situation was awkward. You don't wanna be a sightseeing for eight pairs of eyes. It's creepy.

I tried to clear out their facial features, in hopes that I might know them, but the sunshine was too blinding and prevented me from doing so. But as I squinted my eyes to see them better, I realised that their faces were indeed kinda familiar to me.

Ok but-

They look odly and awfully familiar I might add. They are for sure Asians and I cannot put my finger on it, but, I would say that they are almost as familiar as... StrayKids..?

At this point it's confirmed; I'm delusional.
My love for Skz has made me see things that don't exist. I mean, Stray Kids does exist but not in my country, let alone my hometown.
Damn you guys, why did you have to make me love you so much to the point that I can picture you in real life?

"Excuse me miss? Can I ask for your help?" My thoughts were interrupted when one of the eight guys spoke with a very familiar Aussie accent.
And when I say familiar, I mean VERY familiar.

*author's note after approximately two years of writing this book*

So, um... Just for a heads up, this book has super short chapters. They gradually get longer as you reach the last ones, but I wanted to point that out.

Also, the MC is an orphan. I have seen hundreds of comments be like "ugh not the dead parents again" and I get that this is cliché, alright. But I needed to get her parents out of the picture. She had to have the house to herself SO BEING AN ORPHAN WAS THE ONLY SOLUTION. Please understand.
