Your POV
When we reached the stables Me and Miles rode Samson and Flora and Kate rode Delilah. That was their mother's horse. We rode to the maze in the front then got off. Kate seemed pretty good at riding the horse but she needs a little work.

When we got off the horses' Miles tied them up somewhere so they wouldn't go anywhere. "Can we show Kate the Koi pond?!" Flora looked up at me asking for approval "Don't look at me. Ask Miles and see what he says." I think she assumed he'd say no so she asked me instead, but I think he'll say yes "Milesssss! Can we show kate the koi pond? Please?" he was hesitant to answer "Yeah sure why not." she got so happy. "It's her favorite part of the garden." I told Kate who was behind me and Miles and Flora who was running to see the koi pond.

Flora got there a couple of seconds before Miles and I did. She was looking down at them and smiling at them. She was so happy. Then she looks over and see's a crow eating one of the koi "NO!" she screams and runs over to scare the bird. Miles is right behind her running ahead of me and Kate. Flora looked upset, she looked as if she was about to cry. "Hey, Flora it's okay." I walk beside her and she grabs onto me. "That was my favorite fish." I doubt she could tell that one from the others. Then Miles stomps on its head three times in a row making sure it was dead. Flora grabbed onto me tighter. "Miles!" Kate scolded him "Nothing deserves to suffer." He looked over to her then to me then he looked down to Flora. "Sorry Flora, It's gonna be okay. I promise." She let go of me and hugged Miles then we started walking back up to the house. And Miles put the horses back in the stables.

Me and Miles were sitting in the kitchen, Flora was in the living room. Then me and him walked and sat down next to Flora. And then Kate walked into the room "Hey why don't we go into town tomorrow to get a new Koi?" she looked scared "Kate...She doesn't leave the property." I say to her. Ever since what happened to her parents she never left she got scared that she was gonna die if she ever went beyond the gates. "Well, what if I asked my special friend to see if he'll keep us safe?" Miles says as he looks towards Flora. She nods but you can tell she's still scared by the look on her face. It hurts to see her like this.

Miles looked in the mirror and said "Will you keep Me, Y/n, and Flora safe? You will," he turns to her "See nothing to worry about." he smiled "And Kate too?" she asked. He turned to face the mirror again "And Kate too? He said yes." Flora was happy but was still nervous. As Me, Flora, Miles, and Kate started to exit the house Kate stopped and started talking to Miles, but I continued walking with Flora.

Miles POV

Kate stops and i turn to face her "What?" i ask "Great job with pretending someone was in the mirror to help Flora. That was really nice of you." she smiled as she said that "He also thinks your tattoo is sexy by the way." I smirk and continue walking and meet back up with Y/n and Flora. Then Kate comes out seconds later and she kinda looked scared but she had to look confident to try to help Flora overcome her fear of leaving.

Back to your POV

Me and Flora sat in the back, Miles in the passenger and Kate driving. It was going great until we were second from the gate. Flora looked really scared "Hey, Flora it's okay. There's no need to be scared." that didn't help her at all. She started freaking out "Hey Flora it's okay where almost at the gate okay?" Kate tried to reassure her but she tried to take her seatbelt off but she couldn't so she tried to open the doors but they were locked. She started crying. "Miles tell her to stop!" she told him but he didn't do anything "Miles! I don't wanna die! I don't wanna die" she started screaming "Stop the car" he looked over at Kate but she didn't stop "Miles tell her to stop! I don't wanna die!" I looked over him worried "Stop the car!" he yelled at Kate but she didn't "Stop the car or we'll fucking kill you!" Me miles screamed at Kate this got her to stop the car. Flora then took off her seatbelt and ran out car and I ran after her. Then Miles got out of car. He walked over to Kates side of car and pushed her back " I know what your afraid of and keeping the lights on won't save you." He then came running after us. Kate then ran as well.

We ran all the way to the stables and she was crying and I was hugging her tightly making sure she was okay. Miles then came in and hugged her. And Kate came in seconds later and miles stood up. "Flora. Flora I'm sorry o-" Miles cute her off "You should've stopped sooner! You knew she didn't want to go but you didn't listen!" She seemed pretty startled by this and slowly started backing away "Yeah run away just like the everyone else!" Flora started crying harder after Kate left.

Me and Miles walked with Flora back over to the Koi pond to try and help calm her. We stayed there for a couple minutes then heard a car pull up. It was Kate she came back but I didn't want to see her. But Flora was happy she came back. Kate then came over to us and put the new in the pond. Flora was really happy and hugged Kate. Me and Miles then left them alone and walked back to house.
