"Can't sleep" I mumble to myself as I roll around on my bed. The picture keep coming back into my mind. That sinister and evil smirk on his face keeps coming into my mind.

Look at the time I see it's 7am. Great, I hardly even got any sleep. I sighed getting up to get ready for school. It's Monday today meaning school. During the weekend john got treated for any wounds he had which weren't many.

We all, well I mainly stayed in bed. My body was feeling really exhausted since I haven't been getting enough sleep.

I take a quick shower and change into a white t-shirt which says bad girl in bold writing in black and some black ripped skinny jeans. I tuck my shirt into my jeans and quickly dry my hair then straightened it.

I quickly put on some make up to make myself look more alive then dead, then tied my converse up and grabbed bag. Walking downstairs I just grabbed an apple and walked out to my car. I had a fair idea of where the school was.

"Are you sure you won't get lost?" A voice sounded behind me. Turning around I see Carter standing there. Dark navy blue t-shirt with black jeans and his black leather jacket.

"I wont" I promise him pulling my sunglasses down and get in my car just as the others come out. I start my car up hearing the engine roar alive. I smirk as see there heads turn towards me. "Drive safe" Elizabeth called, "when do I not" I yell back as I drive out the gates to the hell hole.

Pulling up at school was weird. Everyone was strong at my car. I mean it's just a car right. Parking right next to Carter car, I get out and grab my bag. I pull my glasses down a bit as I look at everyone staring.

Put my sunglasses on properly I shut my car door and lock it. I walk into school ignoring everyone stares.

"Nice car" Anna says as I meet up with her at my locker to walk to the cafeteria. "Thanks" I smile at her. Opening the cafeteria doors we walk in. Anna sits in between Carter and Caden leaving me to sit next to Eli.

"You look like shit" Eli comments, I give me a sarcastic smile, "thanks, your hair looks really awful today."

His eyes widen as he shoots out his seat and runs out. We all burst out laughing, "I think he love his hair more than anything" Caden said and I agreed.

"Mom just texted me saying that she has surprise for us at home, she has already rung school up for us to leave" Carter said, his eyes wide as he stares at the phone.

"Let's go" Carter said getting up as Caden followed. I watched as Anna's eyes follow Caden and his every move. Caden caught Anna's eye and winked at her causing her to blush.

"You coming" Carter asked me and I nodded standing up. I turn to Anna, "I'll ring you later." She nodded in response.

The boys reached home before me, parking my car next Carter I get out. Hearing laughing from inside I open the door. Inside was everyone talking to a blond haired girl. She had a great figure but she reminded me of someone.

I cleared my throat to catch everyone attentions. My eyes caught her blue ones and I felt the air knocked out of my lungs.

"Sophia meet my twin sister-"

"Harper" I breath out cutting Carter off. A butch of emotions were swimming in her eyes. "Sophia" she said, her voice so calm and shocked.

"You guys know each other?" Caden asked, with his brows furrowed. I open my mouth to speak but nothing come out. I took a few steps back, "Sophia-" she said her voice shaking, I shook my head cutting her off, "don't", she flinched at my cold tone.

"Why are you being so cold to her?" Carter spoke up one brow raised, I turned my attention to him and scoffed, "if only you knew" I said, the sound of footsteps makes us turn our attention to the guy walking downstairs with his bag in his hand.

Jace saw Harper and immediately halted in his steps, his face went from shocked to hurt to nothing. He blocked his emotions out. "Jace" she whispers, have ignores and walks up to me pulling me in a hug.

"I have to go, there an emergency at home" he said pulling away from the hug, "be careful and remember..." he trailed off turning around looking at Harper, "those who betrayed you once, will hurt you again."

Jace hugged me before I walking to the door, "how's Jake?" She ask I halt in my steps Jace follows I suit, I turn around to face her, "your care why?" I ask her tilting my head to the side. Everyone shared confused glances.

"Because I love-"

"If you loved him, you wouldn't have hurt him the way you did. He loved you, every single piece of you Harper. You broke him, you broke me, you broke Jace and Maria" I cut her off, "Jakes dead" I spat out. It hurt so much to say that.

"How?" She chocked out walking up to me, I squeeze my eyes shut, I opened my mouth but nothing came out again. I sighed shaking my head, "it doesn't matter, he's in a better place now" I said before grabbing Jace's hand and dragging him the door.
