Alexander's POV:

Mike arrived not long after I called him.

"What do you need my help with?" He asked as soon as he stepped out of his car.

"We need your help to train the others. The girls went to the mall today to buy a wedding dress for Lindsey. That was the time Lexi got a call from Scott. He was watching them through the security cameras of the mall. So you can say it won't be long before they attack." I explained.

He thought over what I said and asked, "They went to the mall to buy a wedding dress when they know danger was lurking around?"

I looked at him with a raised brow. "Was that the only thing you pick up on?"

He shook his head. "No. But why did they go in the first place?"

"Char and her obsession with shopping. She made it clear that they were going no matter what. Not it even dad could stop her."

He stopped in his tracks and looked at me.

"What?" I asked looking back at him.

"You called him dad." He stated.

"Yeah. I did."

"Since when?"

I looked down and mumbled. "After mom passed."

"And Lexi?"

"Yeah. But she never said it out loud in front of him and neither did I." I answered.

He nodded in understanding and went back to the conversation we were having before this.

"Okay. You said he watched them through the security cameras of the mall?" He asked and started walking again.

"Yeah. He was. Lexi saw Julia there and the security guards weren't there."

"She must have knocked them out and pulled them to a hiding place." He said.

"Maybe so. But that was not why we called you here. We called you here so you can help us train the others. They can attack any day." I said.

"Alright. What's your plan?" He asked.

"To fight back."

Mike looked confused by my answer and he proved me right by asking, "Why is that?"

"There's no other way. We have to fight back. Lexi said that they don't have a weakness and if they do they're hiding it. So yeah, we'll fight back no matter the circumstances."

"So that's it? You fight back even if it kills you?" He asked as we reached the backyard.

I sighed. "Yes."

He looked down at the ground for a moment then turned to me and nodded.

"Alright. I'll help you train the others." He said.

"Thanks."

Three hours in, then sun went down and the moon came up.

Harris, Felix, Luke and Mark were laying on the ground, out of breath.

I shook my head at them. "I can't even with you guys. In the three hours we've been out here, you only trained for one hour. How can you be so tired?"

"We aren't like you guys." Harris said.

"Yeah but you guys go to the gym right?"

"Used to before. Now, not so much."

I shook my head again and looked to where Lexi was standing with Mike. Lexi was doing target practice with him.

"Lexi!" I called her.

She looked at me and asked, "What?"

I motion towards the boys on the ground. She looked at them and shook her head as well.

"I think it's enough for today." Mike said making the four of them to let out sighs of relief.

"Thank God. I don't think I could've taken it for much longer." Mark said sitting up.

"Figured so." Mike said.

They all got up and went inside the main house probably to shower. Once they disappeared inside, I went over to where Lexi and Mike were.

Lexi was filling up the clip in her hand.

"What are you doing?" I asked her and took a gun myself.

"Preparing." Was her only answer.

"Hey. I know we're going to talk to them but that doesn't mean that we pull the gun out." I said and started to fill the clip for my gun.

She loaded the clip in her gun and clicked the safety off. "We use it only if necessary."

"Do you really think it'll work?" Mike asked her.

"If they cooperate." She said. "If not, then we'll have to fight the gang ourselves."

"Okay. When do we leave?" I asked.

"First thing tomorrow after breakfast. We don't have much time." She said and pointed the gun towards the target and pulled the trigger.

Next morning, I woke up to something wet dripping on my face. I opened my eyes to see a beast sitting on top of me.

The wet stuff that was dripping on my face was it's drool.

"AH! What the hell?" I yelled.

I heard laughing beside me and looked at the source.

"Sorry, bro. Lexi told me you weren't waking up. So I did her the favor." Harris said and took the beast off me.

"Who's dog is that?" I asked.

"I brought him for Lindsey. She loves golden retrievers." He answered.

"Wait. You went out to buy a dog when you knew there was a killer on the loose?" I asked.

He thought it over and said, "Yeah. But the shop wasn't far from here. So I was completely safe."

I shook my head at him. "Where's Lexi?"

"She's having breakfast. And if you don't mind, Henry would be staying here." He said petting the dog.

"You named him Henry?" I asked.

"Yeah. Lindsey apparently likes that name."

"Does she even know he's here?"

"Nope. I plan on surprising her."

"Yeah right. Don't want to offend you or anything but now is not exactly the right time for surprises. We already have a big surprise coming our way." I said as I got out of bed.

He either didn't hear me or ignored me because he didn't answer and was too busy babying the dog.

I rolled my eyes and went to freshen up.

After that I went to get breakfast. I reached the dining room where everyone was eating and chatting except for Lexi who looked to be in thought.

I went over and took my seat beside her, snapping her out of her thoughts in the process.

"Good morning, everyone." I said.

They all said their good mornings and went back to their own conversations.

"What are you thinking about?" I asked Lexi.

She sighed as she passed me a plate. "It's just that, do you think what we're about to do, is right?"

"If it's going to get the gang behind bars then yes." I answered.

She sighed. "Yeah but, we're using-"

"Good morning, everyone!" A very cheery voice greeted.

We all looked at Harris who had a huge smile plastered on his face. Probably because of the surprise he brought his fiancé.

He took a seat beside Lindsey and helped himself with food.

"What were you going to say?" I asked Lexi but she just shook her head and went back to eating.

I sighed. I knew what she was going to say. She feels bad for using them.

"Look." I started catching her attention. "We both know that this is the only thing we can do. I mean we know what the gang is doing is wrong. They need to be put in their place. And that is behind bars. If they cooperate, it can happen because even they know it's the wrong thing to do."

No one knew of our plan A. Only Lexi, Mike and I were the ones who knew of it.

What happened was, while we were waiting for Mike to arrive, Lexi went to thinking mode. She was trying to find their weaknesses.

In the end, we did manage to find it. And Lexi feels bad using them against him.

But if there is a way we can win, it's using it.

Lexi sighed again and said, "Fine. We're going after breakfast."

"Great." I smiled and took some food.
