Alexis' POV:

Last night, after I snuck out, I went to the location they gave me.

Scott was right. No one came here, the park because it was abandoned.

They took my bag from me and put it in the van they arrived in and we all went together to where they live.

They live in a creepy warehouse like you see in the movies.

During the journey, I got to know that there are only four people in the gang. Three boys and a girl.

The first is the leader, of course, whose name I already knew was Scott. The other two boys were Collin and Ryder. The girl was the only one who wasn't really fond of me, her name was Julia.

Since it was almost midnight, they all went to sleep almost immediately after arriving at the warehouse. I took this as my chance to put the microphone in place.

I searched for the place where they might have their meetings and found in on the second floor.

There were a lot of cracks on the walls and the chairs were all dusty. So was the table.

Underneath the table were two long and thick legs that held it up. I attached the microphone to the top of one leg where the bottom of the table and the leg meet.

Then in the morning I woke up way early to take a tour of the place in an excuse to record everything with a little camera I had brought with me.

Just in case.

At the same time Alex called. I had to go to the room they gave me so no one can know anything.

I really hope that Alex had heard what was going on in the meeting they had.

These people are sick! How could they do this to others for fun?

Oh yeah. When Scott was telling me what had happened between the gang and millionaires I caught the fact that he was lying.

Which can only mean they do it for fun.

Currently, I'm sitting in the room they provided me and waiting for Alex to call me again.

I excused myself from the meeting so they could just talk further on and not bother me at all.

I checked all around the room I was in to see if there was anything that might allow them to hear what I was saying and who I was talking to.

I found nothing and even double checked it. I don't trust these people at all.

After waiting for a minute, I decided to call him myself.

"Lexi! You're a crazy genius!" He exclaimed as soon as he picked up.

"What happened?" I asked in a whisper.

"Why are you whispering?" He asked.

"Because I don't want them to hear me, idiot." I whispered again.

"Okay fine. So to answer your question, Mike and I heard everything that was said during the meeting or whatever they call it. We are on our way to the Kings house to inform them about it." He said.

I smiled. "That's great." Then what he said sunk in. "Wait. Mike? What is Mike doing with you?" I asked.

"Oh... I didn't know how to set the listening device so I had to call him." He answered.

"What does he say about my plan?"

"Mike, Lexi wants to know what you say about her plan." Alex said and no doubt he put the phone on speaker.

"I say the same thing you said. Lexi, you are a crazy genius. But I'm not gonna say it's okay until you are back safe and in one piece." I heard Mike say.

"I promise not to do anything stupid. I'm just trying to get information out of them." I whispered.

"We know that. That's why you asked all those questions. Speaking of which, did you notice that he was lying when he told you the stories of what happened with the others?" Alex asked.

"Yeah I did."

Just then I heard someone call my name. "Alexis."

I quickly turned to the phone and said, "Guys I have to go. They're calling me." Then hung up without hearing a response from them.

I opened the door to the room and peeked out side to see Collin standing outside. He was about to open it himself.

"What?" I asked.

"Scott's calling you." He said in a gruff voice.

I stepped out of the room and followed him to where Scott was still in the meeting room.

I went inside and Collin shut the door behind us.

"You called me?" I asked him.

"Yes I did." He said and stood up. He went to a corner and pulled out one of the rolled papers that sat there.

He came back to the table and removed the rubber band and unrolled it to reveal a blueprint of the Jones house.

"This is the blueprint of the Jones house. I want you to tell me where the ins and outs are." He said.

I looked at it for a minute and decided to tell him a half truth.

"One of the walls have a hole in it that is covered with bushes. The Jones boys said that they used it to sneak out at night."

The full truth was that there was a hole in the wall. But it was filled in after Philip found out about it.

Scott chuckled at my answer and asked, "Well those guys are rebellious, aren't they? Which one is it?"

I looked at the map again even though I knew that it was in the backyard behind the pool house.

I pointed at the pool house and said, "It's behind the pool house. The bushes that cover it are actually so thick that they nearly touch the walls of it. But might be enough to pass through."

"Might?" He asked.

"Yes, might."

"Well then we need another entrance. In case we can't make it."

"There's always the front gate." I suggested.

"There are guards all around it. We've checked." He said.

To make him believe that he can use the front gate, I said, "They're not always there. They are there during the day and just take a round every ten minutes and then go back to there respective places. We can take it if we can't fit in through the bushes."

After hearing that he turned to me and asked, "Are you sure about it?"

"Positive." Even though I was lying.

"Okay then. We use both of them." He said and rolled the blueprint back up again.

"When are we going?" I asked.

"We go next week. This week we have two targets that we need to take care of." He said.

I was about to question who was the second one but he left the room before I could ask.

Staying here and not having to hear the stupidity of Alex is completely torturing me.

I didn't know how much I'd miss the idiot until today. He was always saying something. Even if it was completely and utterly stupid just like him.

This was actually the first time Alex and I have been apart in our whole lives.

Before today, we've always been together. And I miss that idiot after everything.

I miss my brother.

I sighed and sat on the bed, looking at my phone screen. Scott told me that we would be leaving to put his plan into action tonight.

I really hope that whoever was the CEO of the Kings' company, had put extra security around him, his bank accounts so no one could hack in and everything else.

There was a knock on the door. I looked up at it to see Ryder poking his head in.

"We're leaving now. Are you ready?" He asked in a bitter tone.

"I'm ready." I answered and stood up. I followed him to the van they brought me here in.

We all sat inside with Scott and Ryder sitting in the front and Julia, Collin and I were sitting in the back.

"Just so you know, you'll be of no help. So don't try to interfere and let us handle it." Julia said in a sharp voice making sure Scott doesn't hear her.

I held my hands up in mock defense. "I won't do anything. I promise." I said in an innocent voice.

She scowled at me noticing the sarcasm in my voice but didn't say anything.

For the rest of the ride, we all were silent. When we reached the house, Scott parked the car a couple houses away so we wouldn't be noticed.

We walked to the house and I inwardly smiled when I saw the guards all around the house.

"They weren't supposed to be here." Collin said.

"So why are they here?" Scott snapped.

"I don't know."

"Maybe someone informed them about it." Julia said and turned her accusing gaze on me.

"Why are you staring at me like that? I didn't do anything." I said.

"Sure you didn't. You might have told them about our plan and they set up the guards around here." She said.

"I was at the warehouse the whole time." I snapped.

"Shut up. Both of you. We have to get past them." Scott said.

He crouched down a little and put his back on the wall. We all followed his actions and waited for his signal.

We snuck around the gate and were almost immediately a guard noticed us.

"Hey! What are you doing?" He yelled at us.

I suppressed the grin that was beginning to show. The other guards that were there heard the first one and immediately surrounded us with guns pointing towards us.

"What are you doing here?" One of them asked.

"We were just trying to find a place to hide." I quickly said.

From the corner of my eye, I saw Julia give me a glare but I ignored that.

"A place to hide? Why?"

"Because we were hanging out a couple blocks down at a Cafe. We decided to play hide and seek and we were using the houses around the neighborhood as a hiding place. This house was the biggest so we decided to sneak around here until we were found." I explained.

They all seem to be thinking for a few minutes. Then they all nodded and lowered their guns and one of them said, "You're free to go. But don't lurk around here. It's risky to be here."

We all nodded and they made way for us to go back. One by one we all went back in the direction of the car and drove away.
