~Adelina~

"Didn't I say not to come at lunch, or were you too busy trying to find your next "friends with benefits" since your life is too boring without it?" I say annoyed at the fact he came when I told him not too.

"I mean, if you say it like I was looking, I think I found her already." William says.

I finally turn around. He's looking directly at Sofia. And he has that stupid smirk on his face.

I turn to look at my best friend.

She's looking at him with those, "I'm attracted to you eyes"

Oh hell no. Nope not this guy. I like him as a friend, yes, but not when all he want's to do is get into MY befriends pants.

"I'm sorry, WHAT." I say shocked at the fact there both looking at each other like there MARRIED.

William doesn't even respond. He moves from behind me to sit next to Sofia.

The fuck.

What are they dating after looking at each other.

Now there having their own conversation, while eye fucking each other.

great, this is great. I'm fucking third-wheeling already.

I clear my throat

"Sofia, I love you, but your not falling for William." I say, trying to keep my voice gentle, while trying to tell her to stop.  

"Sure she is, there called hormones darling." William says with a slight smirk.

I swear

where's Reese when you need her.

"I'm fine Lina, really" Sofia reassure me.

"nothings going to happen between pretty boy and I." she says with a smirk directing to William.

Then a phone rings. It's Williams. Of course.

"yea come to the table at the back. There are two lovely ladies here too so you better come quick before I take them both."

Oh  great. More cocky men. Just great.

"did you not get the part about no lunch with me, and you do not have the right to bring more cocky men like you here, so please kind sir leave."

He laughs. He fucking laughs.

then I feel the bench dip on one side of me.

I look to my left, and see a guy, not just any guy.

Mother fucking Zane Anderson.

Of fucking course.

Then I look across and see Sofia trapped between William and a new guy.

"alright, so you've met me, I'm the hottest of the trio, next to darling Sofia is Ash, he's fucking rich as hell, so if you want a sugar daddy, go to him-"

"dully noted." say's Reese.

Ah, Reese comes now she comes when she needs a sugar daddy huh.

"Anyways, well come back to her" William says pointing at Reese who looks offended but let's it slide.

"And the last one of the trio is Zane who Lina is sitting next to, and is also sexually attracted too-"

"Oh hold up, friends with benefits, I am not attracted to dinosaur over here, okay, let's get the facts straight. "

yea, that's a straight up white lie, but no one needs to know that.

"yea okay keep telling yourself that Sherlock Holmes" I just roll my eyes.

Then I hear laughing next to me.

He's laugh. It's so perfect. Just the right amount of...laugh. It's not to loud, not to soft or deep, it's perfect.

this guy is making things too hard. I can't fall for him.

But I think it's getting too late.

"You should tell us about you and your friends Adelina." Zane say's

Oh lord. that voice. It does things to me that should not do. All I want right now is to sit alone with him and talk. Just the too of us. No one else.

"love, I asked you to tell us about you and your trio, like how William did." Zane says, his voice going an octave deeper.

I look at him.

He's smirking like he knows what he's doing to me.

But those eyes...

"right sorry-"

"don't apologize Adelina." Zane says with a stern voice, like he hates I apologized for no reason. he's jaw locked when I said "sorry"

"right...umm... so...you've met me, well William has, but still, my name is Adeline, but you can call me Lina if you want-" I say but then get cut off

"Yea, ima call you Lina since Adelina is too fucking long, actually, Sherlock sounds better-" William says in a laughing but then gets cut off

"let Adelina talk shithead" Zane says in a deep voice that make William shut up

wow, he's scared of Zane.

Good, I can use that to my advantage in the future

"go one love" Zane says

I love it when he say's "love" It's so hot

"yea so, this is Sofia, she's the baker of the group, you have to try her baking, it's heaven on earth." I say while having a smile on my face.

It's true, her baking is the best, better than bakery here in Toronto.

"And this one here" I say nudging Reese on the shoulder since she's next to me

"this one is Reese. Reese is very annoying like Friends with Benefits but has the best style out of everyone here, so if you need style advice, go to her." I say while laughing and smiling with Reese.

It's true, she's just as annoying as William, but is a really good stylist.

"And that is my trio" I say

"Well by the looks of it, It's way better than ours's" Ash speaks for the first time.

He's also very good looking, but not as good looking as Zane.

"I'm dipping and joining theirs" Ash jokes while maintaining eye contact with Reese.

Wow, Both of my friends got Boyfriends with staring.

Wish that was me.

Randomly, weight is on my shoulder. And I flinch, my facing twisting into one of pain.

Then the weight is off in a split second.

I turn and look at Zane who has a shocked, worried, and mad look on his face. He look's at my shoulder, than trails his eye's to my back, then back up to my face like he can see though my shirt, and see all the bruises that live there.

I have a scared expression on my face.

Please don't ask. Please don't ask why I flinched when he touched me. why did he have to touch me in the first place.

"who the fuck hurt you Adelina" Zane's voice is cold. Cold as ice, dangerous and the sea, and his voice is demanding an answer. His face is one of fury. Pure rage, like he will hurt anyone that touched me the wrong way.

I don't answer. I stare at William and Reese who are bickering about god knows what.

"I swear to god Adelina, who the fuck hurt you. You fucking flinched from me barely touching you. I-"

He doesn't get to finish  he's sentence because the bell rang.

The bell was my queue to leave.

I've never been more happy for the bell to ring.

"I have to go to my next class, see you guys next time, bye" I say in one fast breath and walk as fast as my legs I can out of the cafeteria.

"Oh okay, Bye Lina" my bestfriends say

"bye bye best friends slash Sherlock" William says with a smirk on his face.

the smirk is going to be the death of me.

I got lucky Zane didn't say bye to me. Or didn't talk to me.  Or come to me asking what happened to me.

Because if he talked or come to get me, I don't know if I could stop telling him what I've been through.
