Doves POV:

This is every time I get ready to go somewhere. Ezra lathers me in kisses and smooth talks me into staying.

"Just stay for ten minutes." He mumbles into the nape of my neck from behind me.

I'm applying lipstick to my lips while he's distancing me.
"I'm gonna be late." I state.

Instead of taking the hint Ezra pulls my waist back and rubs my butt against him, causing me to moan and my head to lean back.

"Your teasing." I say.

Ezra has been so attached since yesterday, he can't let me go for some reason. Every second he wants to kiss me, and right now he's getting on his knees.
"Ezra, get up." I snapped.

Though once again he didn't listen, he begins to kiss up my leg. He knows my weak spot so when he sucks on my mid thigh, I've been pulled in. I'm now leaned against the bathroom counter as Ezra looks up at me.
Butterflies are swarming through my body, as his eyes show so much desire.

"Tell me to stop." Ezra says in the most calmest tone. I didn't want him to stop, but I needed to go.

I shake my head and scoff, I look at the time on my phone and my eyes widen. "Shit!" I'm a few minutes late.

I hurry and finish getting ready and grabbing the things I need. When I've got everything I head to Ezra and kiss him on the cheek.

"When I get back, it's your turn." I tilt his chin up with a wink.

"Make sure to feed burrito!" I yell walking out to my car. I don't know, what was going through my brain last night, but I've decided to name my pet snake burrito.

It was almost time for the sun to set and the lantern show is when people gather around to write a wish on a unlit lantern, then light the lantern into the sky for it to come true.

I know it's been so distant between us and we haven't been so close lately, with everything going on. I just want us three to build a even closer bond before we go the chance to meet the boys.

I walk straight into Josies house, she doesn't really mind. Me and Pearl got use to the thought that Josies house is our house too.

"Hey Pearl." I say as her feet are crossed up in the coffee table.

She pauses the TV standing up wearing a white evening dress. She walks over toward to me and pulls me in for a hug.
My eyebrows sorta arch in confusion by the sudden love and affection.

"Um Pearl is everything alright." I trail off patting her back awkwardly.

Pearl doesn't say anything for the next five seconds while she continues to hold me but then she backs away and she says with a bright smile, "Yup! I'm okay."

I don't even mention it. "Wheres Josie?" I ask

Pearl sits back down and turns back on the TV. "She just came back about 5 minutes before you showed up from her gig, she's taking a shower."

I head to Josies kitchen while she gets ready and look for anything to drink. "Do you think Ms.Cole would drink coffee?" I ask shouting out to Pearl.

"Josie said her mom drinks energy drinks, if anything she'll probably buy coffee from a coffee shop." Pearl explains.

I nod and close the refrigerator, I head straight to plop down next to Pearl. She was watching the original Spider-Man starring Toby Maguire.

"People say that he's never read a comic book." Pearl informs.

"You haven't either." I defended.

"Reading is boring."

"You just have to find the right book." I say.

"When Milo first told me he played music, he described his music as a book. He says when he plays the sound sinks him in like the pages of book, wanting to continue to read."

"Milos a quiet guy."  I tell. "But you pull him out of his comfort zone."

"Somehow we're like a puzzle fitting into each other's broken pieces." Pearl sighs.

"I'm so sorry DJ for blaming you for trying to break me and Milo relationship." She turns to look at me.
"I was just devastated because, I thought we were gonna actually work, and you and Ezra just ruined it."

"Well it kinda is my fault, if I never met Ezra this would've probably never happened." I replied.

Pearl shook her head, I don't know where all this was coming from, but I knew this was important for her to get out.

"You meeting Ezra has seem to make you so much happier, and you if you never met him I would've met my happiness either." She smiles.

I pull her into a hug, I figure this is why she hugged me when I walked in the first time. Pearl was probably having the urge to say something all along.

"I love you DJ." She mumbles into my arms.

"I love you Pearl."

"Why are you guys hugging each other?" The sound of Josies voice fills the air.

Me and Pearl break away to see Josie looking at us in black leather pants and a black corset. Her hair was curled, and Josie never curls her hair.

"You look hot." Pearl states.

"Who are you trying to impress?" I joke.

"Guys stop, your making me blush." Josie smiles covering her face.

"Are you ready?" I ask.

She nods, "I'm ready if you are."

We all take this time to take pictures and get ready to leave.

At the location for the lantern show, people were already writing down their wish on their lantern. There isn't too many people as I thought, but I was so ready to take this moment and spend it with my friends.

We head over to the booth to each grab a lantern and then find an open area on the grass.

We get settled and pull out our markers to write our wish. It takes me a few minutes to think something I strongly desire to have in life.

Before I moved out of my moms house I asked everyday for a normal family. A family where we would go out to dinner for once and laugh. Or a family that could just sit and watch TV together. I was tired of living in a house, where I was scared to even walk out of my room because I didn't wanna be touched.

The reason I've come to the point to hurt myself is because, it was better than dying. I realized that I deserved to feel the pain that was lingering through my head and the only way was to ruin myself.
I was doing well after I moved into Ezras home, than everything just hit rock bottom. I still wonder to this day what I did wrong. If maybe, if I saw things through his eyes could I have done better.

However, I needed to come to the terms with the fact I had to loose my self to find myself again. That in the process of finding my happiness, it was okay for me to break down, relapse, and repeat. In the end it will all lead up to the moment where I no longer feel the need to cry because of how I look in the mirror.

When Ezra kissed my scars the night he made love to me for forgiveness, I couldn't help but shed a tear on how lucky I've gotten.

I look up at Pearl and Josie and smile at them as they write. They have given me nothing, but the world and it took me now to open my eyes and realize it.

My wish is for my life right now to live on forever. To be happy until forever falls apart and never loose the people I love, because they are my happiness.

I write my wish down, and that at the same time I finish so does Pearl and Josie.

"My wish is to-."

"Your not supposed to say it or it won't come true!" I cut Josie off

"Alright let's get ready to light them then." Josie says instead.

Pearl grabs the lighter and starts to light hers, then moves onto mine. I watch as my lantern slowly fills with air, I look over to Pearl and Josie seeing there's doing the same.

It doesn't take long, but when it's ready I prepare mine for lift off like a spaceship.

"You guys ready?" I say holding onto mine.

"On the count of three." Pearl nods, and we nod back in agreement.

"One..."

We smile at each other, and us smiling makes me happy we have each other.

"Two..."

We give one another look.

"Three!"

We say all together and let them go into the air flowing through the air.
We close in together holding onto each other's arms watching our lanterns.

Maybe my wish is so unrealistic that it won't come true, but by some miracle I hope it comes does.
