"WHICH ONE?" I asked Summer, holding up two outfits.

She walked over to the one in my right hand. It was a pair of blue jean shorts and a cropped black hoodie with a sunflower on it.

"I was thinking this one, too," I said as I threw my other outfit on my bed.

She barked, cheerfully, spinning in a circle. I smiled at her before walking into my bathroom, shutting the door behind me.

I changed into the outfit before pulling my hair into a high ponytail. I walked out of my bathroom to find Brent laying on his back at the foot of my bed. Summer was nowhere in sight.

"You're early," I said, laying on my stomach next to him.

He frowned,"Don't get too happy about it, why don't you."

"You know what I mean," I remarked, smiling.

"My parents are taking Vanessa to the park and lunch so I was by myself at the house," Brent explained, twirling my ponytail with his finger.

"Well, in that case..." I said, sitting on my knees. I leaned in, and our lips met. He used one of his hands, and he held the side of my neck, stroking my cheek with his thumb as the kiss deepen.

He sat up more as he wrapped an arm around my waist, pulling me down on his chest so that way I was on top of him. He laid back on the bed...

"Oh my God! I'm so sorry!" Mom exclaimed, making us break apart, quickly.

She covered her eyes before walking out of my room. My cheeks flared pink at her walking in on our make out session.

"Shit," I mumbled before getting off Brent.

His cheeks were a faint pink, but he didn't look too embarrassed. I quickly walked out of my room, looking for Mom.

I walked downstairs, looking around. I finally found her whispering to Dad in her office. Before I could hide, Dad's eyes found mine, and I froze.

"Campbell, can you come in here for a moment please?" Dad asked, tapping his foot. He didn't look mad. So I guess that is a good sign.

I slowly made my way into Mom's office, shutting the door behind me. I sat down in a chair, and Mom cleared her throat.

Before she could say anything, I blurted out,"I'm so sorry. I promise that it was just kissing and that is all."

"You are not in trouble, Campbell," Mom said, furrowing her eyebrows. "We understand that you are a teenager almost an adult. You make your own decisions." I took a deep breath of relief.

"But we want you to be safe," Dad said, making my eyes widen in horror.

This can't be happening.

Please let this be a nightmare. Please wake up. I can't believe they are trying to discuss with me.

I stood up from my chair. "I already had the talk years ago."

"Well, that's great. Does Brent know? Do you have any questions? There is no judgement here," Mom said, making my eyes widen even more.

"Oh my gosh. Guys, I already on birth control, and plus, I'm not even ready to do...that," I said, trying to get out of this discussion.

"We are just trying to help is all," Dad said with his hands up in surrender.

"I promise that if I have any questions, I will come to you guys. Can I go now, please?"

Mom nodded, and I ran out of the door as fast as my feet could carry me. As I ran out of the room, I saw the boys pretending to play video games...

The tv isn't even on.

"Were you guys eavesdropping?" I asked them, narrowing my eyes.

They shook their heads, and Nick asked, "Eavesdrop on what exactly?"

"Humph. Nice try guys. Just for everybody to know it was just kissing. That's all," I said before turning around to walk to my room.

"Keep it G, sis!" Gaberial called behind me, making the rest of my brothers laugh.

I scowled as I walked to my room where Brent is at. When I walked into my room, Brent was sitting in my chair, thinking about something. His head perked up when I entered the room.

"How bad was it?" Brent asked me, and I fell on my bed, dramatically.

"That bad, huh?" Brent asked.

I lifted my head up, and I said,"Yes."

He walked over to me, and he sat down beside me. I sat up, and I brought my knees to my chest. I bit my lip in nervousness.

"I think if you bit your lip any harder, it's going to start bleeding. What's wrong?" Brent asked, softly.

I stopped biting my lip, and I released my knees.

"It's just that we never really talked about...you know," I said, looking down at my hands.

"Hey," Brent said, gently raising my chin up so I can look him in the eyes. "I will never pressure you into it. If you are not ready, that's okay. I will wait a thousand years, and if you are not ready by then, I'll wait a thousand more."

"For me?" I asked him, making him nod.

"I love you, Campbell. You are worth waiting for," Brent said with a smile.

I smiled back, and he gave me a kiss on the cheek.

"I love you, too," I replied before adding,"Have you ever...?"

He shook his head,"No."

We were silent for a minute until I asked,"Aren't we suppose to be on a date?"

He laughed,"We should get going or we can stay and watch movies. I haven't finished watching all the Twilight movies."

I shook my head,"Nope. It's twelve thirty and I'm hungry."

I got off the bed, and he did the same. I quickly put on my shoes before grabbing my things.

We walked downstairs to see nobody in the living room.

"I'm going to lunch with Brent!" I yelled once we reached the door.

"Okay, sweetie!" Mom yelled back from her office.

We walked out of the house to Brent's car.

"Oh, crap. I forgot my phone. I'll be right back," Brent said as we reached his car.

"Okay," I replied before he left my side.

I went to open the door when I saw somebody down the street by the stop sign, watching me.

He was dressed in a black hoodie and black jeans. It was Jax.

He smirked before a moving truck went past between us. Once the truck moved, Jax was no where in sight.

I blinked a couple times before rubbing my eyes. I must be dreaming or my eyes are playing tricks on me.

If I tell Brent about this, he will say that I'm seeing things.

"You ready?" Brent asked behind me, making me jump a little.

I nodded, putting a fake smile on my face. "Yes."

We both got into his car, and he drove towards the diner. As he drove, I thought to myself while looking out the window.

First, he had bruised knuckles, he disappeared for days, he was sorry about my father, and he smirked at me while watching me at my house.

He is up to something bad, and I'm going to figure it out.
