"You what?!"

My family stared at me wide eyed, some even had a bit of anger swirling around in them. I gave them a sheepish smile and scratched the back of my head. I was kind of afraid of how they would react, I mean it wouldn't stop me from being together with Xavier but it mattered to me what they thought about all this. I wanted them to accept it, becaus that would make me feel a little bit more at ease.

"Yay!" Lily squealed and pulled me in another bone crashing hug, suffocating me half to death.

"Wait, wait, wait. No, hey. Wait. This-...You two-...Oh my god." Max breathed out, confusion written all over his face.

"I don't approve of this. At all." Leo grumbled, whereupon some of my brothers agreed with him.

"Oh come on! You knew that it would happen some day." I reasoned, making them roll their eyes.

"Wait, but you two didn't do anything inappropriate yet, right? You can't have sex until you're at least 30!" my father declared, in what I hoped was a jokingly manner, but the serious expression on his face proved otherwise.

"Dad!" I exclaimed, a blush creeping onto my cheeks whereupon Xavier and Lily laughed at me.

"Did you?" he pressured.

"You can't kill him, you know that, right? I'd never forgive you for that!" I warned, tightening my grip on Xavier's shoulder, completely ignoring his question, as I feared that they might kick him out of the house if they found out that we did it already.

"So you did?!" Grayson yelped as he jumped to his feet.

"Maybe." I mumbled under my breath.

"That's awesome!!" Lily shrieked, making everyone turn to her and give her a look.

"What?"

"Never mind." Enzo muttered and rolled his eyes at her. My family got accustomed to Jack and Lily already, and even though we all knew who their uncle and father were, we accepted them nevertheless. They were good people and they helped us a lot. Wihout them I don't even know how the fight would've ended, probably with my death. So, yeah I was thankful for them.

"Can we just drop the topic and talk about something else?" I suggested innocently, getting some glares here and there. Do they really wanna play the overprotective brother card now? God, it's Christmas not 'let's embarrass our little sister and make plans on how to kill her boyfriend' day.

"Wait," Leonardo suddenly said and stood up, walking over to where Xavier and I were sitting. "Get up."

"What?" I scrunched up my face in confusion.

"Your boyfriend, not you. Get up." he demanded and when Xavier stood up he shoved him aside and sat down between my legs, taking over Xavier's 'seat'.

"Hey!" I exclaimed and lightly slapped his head.

"What 'hey'? I don't want to be an uncle yet so you gotta wait until you're old enough for that! So, now that he's in a safe distance, nothing can happen. Oh and I want the same head massage that he got, thank you." he deadpanned, making everyone in the room laugh, including me, before I put my hand on his head and ruffled through his hair.

"So you guys aren't angry at me?" I asked nervously.

"We're angry at him, we could never be angry at you, AK." Phoenix reassured, sending Xavier a slight glare.

"So, if you ever hurt her or break her heart, I swear to god I will rip out your intestines and feed you with them! Just like I will chop off your dick!" Juan threatened, wherupon Xavier gulped visibly.

"Haha, how funny. Let's just open the presents yeah?" I tried to ease the tension and apparently I succeeded because everyone started to talk about who would open the first one.

"I want to!" Grayson suddenly yelled and stood up, grabbing one of the presents, mine to be exact. It was wrapped in blue paper and a decorative ribbon. He ripped the paper off and opened the box. His face morphed into one full of shock and awe, as he took out what was inside. He brought the Jersey up to his face and looked at it in admiration.

"Oh my god, thank you!!" I laughed at his childish antics while I grabbed a cookie and took a bit of it. I have to admit they were mouth wateringly delicious.

After a couple of hours of opening up presents and eating cookies we all had at least 10 new things surrounding each of us. My presents were much appreciated by them, which was a relief because I spent a whole lot of money on those presents. I mean I had to buy 18 presents for today! 18!

Anyways, I also got a lot of stuff so I guess we were kind of even. My fav present was this weird toilet paper role with jokes written on them though. It was from Jack.

"Let's take a family picture!" Mila suddenly suggested whereupon some groans rumbled through the living room. But either she ignored them or didn't hear them, because she quickly ran upstairs and seconds later she came down with a camera in her hands.

"Here, let me help you." my father smiled and helped her set up the camera. Then he commanded us all where to be, so we were all either kneeling on the floor or standing close next to each other. It was a pain to get us all on the picture but after about half an hour we eventually succeeded and were all positioned.

"Okay, it's automatic so I will run into the picture, position myself and after about 5 seconds it will take the picture, alright?" my step- my mother explained and pressed on the button when we all nodded. She quickly scurried over to her position and after only a few seconds a loud clicking sound indicated that the picture was taken.

And that's how we spent our christmas eve. We laughed, we danced, we ate cookies, we told each other stories and we shed tears of happiness. We looked like a real family.

No, we were a real family.

Hey there....I'm sad now. It was the very very last chapter...🥺

It was a lot of fun to write this story and to meet so many people, but before I rant on about all the wonderful things and about how much I appreciate you guys, like I actually already did in the last 'real' chapter, I just wanna say a quick thank you guys so much, which hopefully expresses just how thankful I am!

I wish you all a merry merry christams! Enjoy the time with your family and even if we can't celebrate with our friends or parts of the family, we should still somehow try to enjoy it the best we can. Because it's the best time of the year, guys!!💕💕
