I groaned loudly when I rolled out of my bed and made my way to the bathroom. As I took a shower my mind drifted off to those beautiful chocolate brown eyes that I felt drawn to.

This girl had me wrapped around her fingers and she doesn't even know. She made me go crazy over the smallest of things. When some guy touched her I felt my fists tighten and when she was on the verge of crying, which was pretty rare in school, I felt my a tug at my heart strings. There were so many emotions that I felt when I was around her that I didn't even know I was capable of feeling.

And then my head wandered off to yesterday. How nervous I felt while asking her out and how a pang of disappointment hit my heart when I thought she wanted to decline. The nervosity was something completely new to me since the last time I felt it was when I was standing in front my father's office at the age of 13 after I did something stupid. I was afraid he might sent me off to a boarding school or even to jail. I was obviously exaggerating but anyways.

I quickly blowdried my hair after I slipped on some ripped jeans and a black hoodie and put on some cologne. After I was done in the bathroom I picked up a watch, put it around my wrist and shoved my phone into my back pocket. When I glanced at the clock it read 5:30pm so I hurried down the stairs.

I completely ignored my aunt as I grabbed my car keys and slipped trough the front door. My mind trailed off to what was about to happen once again. I was going on a date with Alaska Hades. I literally never had a date before. Sure, I fucked around and watched some movie with a girl here and then, but that definitely couldn't be considered a date.

After I sat down in the driver's seat of my beloved car, I started the engine and drove off into the direction of the address that she had sent me after we exchanged numbers.

When I approached the building my heart began to bump faster and I couldn't help the smile that crept its way onto my lips. Then the door opened and my breath hitched. She looked absolutely beautiful. She was wearing a long sleeved top and a pair of shorts, with white sneakers.

She sent me a small wave when she spotted my car and made her way over to me. As she got in the passenger seat I couldn't help but stare at her face, which was slightly scrunched up as she tried to find a comfortable position.

When she was finally sitting still I moved my hand around her to the seatbelt and grabbed it. I felt her heartbeat quicken when my face lightly brushed the tip of her nose. When I pulled the seatbelt over her, I stopped to stare into her surprised eyes.

And then, the world started fading away. For a short moment, it was just us. The only things I heard were our pumping hearts. My gaze wandered down to her soft lips. How badly I wanted to kiss her, to hug her, to protect her. I never wanted anything so badly as her.

I slowly leaned in and that's when she snapped out of her trance. She slightly pushed me away with reddened cheeks. I quickly pulled away as well and the atmosphere soon got awkward.

"Well, where are we going?" she asked curiously after a few minutes of uncomfortable silence.

"Suprise." I smirked and started the engine before I started off into the direction of my favorite place.

The car drive was silent but it was a more comfortable one than before. We just watched the neighborhood pass by while the nervosity inside of me bubbled up. Dammit, I hated this feeling.

Anyway, when we finally arrived at the small hut in the woods, I parked the car and quickly walked over to the passenger door and opened it for Alaska. She got out of the car with a look of curiosity and awe plastered on her face as she took in her surroundings.

In the middle of a dark forest was placed a small wooden building with flower pots on its patio. There was a pathway which led deeper into the woods and another one that led to a wide field. I gestured for her to follow me and took off into the direction of the first pathway. She followed closely behind me and I decided to slow down my pace a little bit so we could walk comfortably.

"Hey, you wanna play 20 questions?" she asked out of the blue. I nodded my head and she asked me what my favorite color was.

"Black. Yours?" I answered blankly trying to hide the excitment in my voice of finding out more about her.

"Same. Do you have siblings?"

"No. What's up with you and those Russians?"

"Why?"

"Well, you seem very close, like very. I mean you kissed one of them?"

She let out a lighthearted laugh which I couldn't help but smile about. It sounded so angelic and innocent. I wanted to hear that sound more often.

"They're my bestfriends and we're used to kissing each other. We did it often to pretend that we were a couple or something in order to deceive en-" she stopped herself midsentence.

"To deceive whom?" I asked curiously.

"No one. Anyways, it's just a habit."

"Did you mean 'enemies'?"

Her eyes widened and I felt her become nervous as she awkwardly fidgeted with the hem of her dress and looked anywhere but at me.

"Hey, you ok?"

"Yeah, yeah. It's just ... I meant enemies in form of people who had a crush on one of us." she muttered.

I didn't believe her but I let it slide since I didn't want to ruin the atmosphere. Though I took a mental note to ask her in school.

When we eventually approached my secret spot I glanced at Alaska, whose mouth was gaping. Her eyes were wide as she looked at the view in front of us. The whole city was full on display and since the sun was already setting the sky was tinted with purple and orange accents.

I led her to a cozy looking bench and sat down next to her.

A beautiful smile graced her soft lips while she wrapped her arms around herself in an attempt to get some warmth. I put my arm around her shoulder and pulled her to me. At first she was stiff and surprised but then she lied her head on my shoulder and snuggled deeper into my chest.

We watched the sun disappear behind the houses and the sky become darker and darker every minute. Stars faintly showed up when the sky was eventually completely dark.

I don't know how long we sat there, snuggled up into each other's embrace but I didn't complain. Her warm breath on my neck sent a tingling sensation trough my body and made the hairs on my neck stand up. She looked cute. Her nose was slightly reddened due to the coldness just like her cheeks and ears, whereas the rest of her skin was as pale as always. I could even see small clouds of air that she breathed out.

"Xavier?" she suddenly whispered.

"Hmm," I hummed in response and stroked her hair.

"Why are you doing this? Why did you bring me here?"

"Why not? I wanted to show you this place. It's something special to me just like you."

"Special?" she mumbled in disbelief.

"Alaska, I ... I like you," I breathed out.

Silence overtook us as I nervously bounced my leg up and down.

"Really?" she asked and raised her head off of my shoulder so she was looking me straight in the eye.

"Yes. You're fucking beautiful." I mentally face palmed myself for being so blunt but it was soon forgotten when I saw her red coated cheeks.

"Thank you. For everything," she mumbled quietly and gave me a smile, which showed off her small dimples.

I couldn't help myself anymore as I was captivated by her eyes once again and leaned closer. She watched me cautiously but did the same thing. When our lips slightly brushed it was like a firework exploded in my stomach. I felt warmth run through my veins and my lips were tinigling as we moved in sync. Her lips felt soft and warm on my mouth.

When we pulled away she breathed out a 'wow' and cuddled closer to me. I tightened my grip around her and placed a soft kiss on her forehead while my stomach still felt like dozens of ants were rushing around in there.

The next thing I said surprised not only her but also myself.

"Will you be my girlfriend?"
