No matter how much you try to make yourself clear, he still doesn't get it does he?

The hospital isn't the right place to be having this kind of conversation.

There are people present and to top it all off, it's your workplace.

So if this keeps going, you're not sure if you'll be able to keep your professionalism at bay.

But you have to get him to leave. And now.

"You really have no shame do you?" You can see the slight shock in his eyes after you say these words. "I'll make this simpler for you then. I don't want to see you again. Not today, not tomorrow. Not ever."

This is for the best. One way or another, this should enter that thick skull of his.

"Now if you'll excuse me, I've got patients to take care of."

"Y/n.."

"You need to leave." You say as you walk away.

One more second with him and you'll probably lose yourself even more.

Just when you thought you moved on. He had to show himself.

There's a certain pain in your chest but you refuse to acknowledge it.

A tear cascades down your cheek and you quickly wipe it away. There's no use holding on to the pain and confusion of the past.

Taehyung's nothing but a memory.

Ignoring the stares coming from your fellow workers, you enter an elevator and attend to a patient.

They'll eventually forget something like this ever happened.

Later that night, you could have sworn you had your umbrella with you.

Gray clouds fill the sky. Tonight, there is no such thing as stars and moon. Only a gloomy, crying night.

The parking lot's at least fifty steps away from the hospital's entrance.

Maybe if you make a run for it, you won't get too wet.

"Here goes nothing." With a nod, you spring through the blanket of rain. Regret fills you the next second.

Why did you think you'd make it without getting too soaked?

From head to toe, you're dripping.

As you're fumbling with the keys, a black van parks beside yours.

You can't hear anything aside from the constant patters of rain.

Then next thing you know, you're pulled backwards with a grip thats tighter than anything you've ever felt.

Panic swells within you as staggering ideas blow up in your head.

Are you really getting kidnapped right now?

Are you gonna die?

"Let me go!" It takes you a moment to realize that the person who pulled you is no other than the the guy you want to avoid.

"Drive. Now." He gives the order with a deep voice.

And you feel your heart sink to the ground. You don't understand why he's making things so difficult for you. Didn't you make yourself clear that you didn't want to see him again?

What brings you back to reality is the door getting slammed and the motion beneath you.

You yank your arm free, beyond agitated. In a situation like this, the best method is to stay calm. Lashing out will only make it worse on your end.

"Care to explain what's the meaning behind all these?"

Taehyung's eyes pierce into yours.

"What? You've got nothing to say? Prince or not, you're lucky I don't have my phone with me or I would called the police." These words leave your lips even though you know authorities would definitely side with him instead.

"To think you'd settle with kidnapping me. You're really pathetic." The volume of your tone gradually increase as the side of your lips turn into a frown. "I hate you so much."

"We both know that's not true, Y/n."

So now he decides to talk. For a moment there, you thought you were talking to a ghost. Scratch that. A ghost would be far more better than him.

"Did you suddenly convert into a psychic while you were away? Bravo. I wonder how many more truths you'll claim is a lie." Sarcasm drips your tone. It's stressful enough that you're soaked from head to toe. And now you have to deal with him too? "Stop the van."

"I can't do that. Not until you give me a chance to explai-"

"Not this again." You run a hand down your face, feeling a migraine forming. "I already made myself clear didn't I? I don't need your explanation-"

"And why not? You have no idea how much I've had to sacrifice just to be here right now and you're just gonna push me away? Just like that? You're calling me pathetic when you're the one refusing to hear my side of the story. You see, this is exactly your problem, Y/n. You only think about yourself. You think the world revolves around you but guess what? It doesn't. For five years, I've had to live in worry that you'd misunderstood my actions. But I also wanted to believe that you'd still wait and be willing to hear me out when the time comes." He pauses and swallows thickly. "It's true that I was arranged to get married. And it did happen."
